I have received my oneplus 3t (A3000) then i inmediatly installed the OxygenOS 4, by OTA but i was very discomforted because in Nougat i cant block heads-up notifications, so i need our help to solve this matter, i was thinking on downgrade to android 6 but it is quite dangerous right? what is better to do?
PD: I dont have issue to keep on Android 7 if this matter can be solved.
Thanks! sorry about my bad english
I was quite sure I could disable Peek globally for all the apps, but actually... Actually I can't find such feature. You can for sure disable it per-app in Settings --> Notifications.

Hi I just started using my Zenfone 8 as daily driver and found out that notifications don't work properly in more senses:
- Often I get notification delayed with respect to my other devices
- When I get a notification of a message/email and read it from another device, the notification on the zenfone 8 stays there
- with telegram, in the previous case, the notification does not go away even if i open the telegram app!!!!
All this leading to a nice combo of previous issue: I get a telegram message on PC, answer it from PC, THEN also get the same notification on zenfone and it does not go away.
I found some complaints on the Zentalk forum, but with no answer, like this one
Broken notification system
As already reported: Kleshar Hello staff, This is my third or fourth bug report for the zenfone 8. This is a minor bug report but still pretty annoying in some cases. I wanted to tell you that the notification system on some apps gets stuck if you're using the same account on different...

Does anybody know what's the problem? I looked into system settings, notifications and permissions but I can't get it to work properly.
Do you have this same issue? Do you have suggestions?
Any android 12 beta tester know if it will be solved at least in the android 12 update?
Thanks

It was just a battery optimization flag in battery settings:
"background app management" option under settings>battery
Hello.. I'm trying to research an issue (or known change) with the Notifications on my OnePlus 10 Pro running latest Android 12. This problem was first noticed on my OP8T after upgrading it to Android 12. Since I just got a 10 Pro I'm posting here, since that' s my current phone and the one for which I'd like resolution (sold the 8T).
After upgrading the OP8T, my notifications no longer let me go straight to an app. I'll use Gmail for example. Before the upgrade if I had multiple new email, I'd have a single notification. I would swipe down and see it, and I could one of two things. 1. I could just click on the notification and it would take me to my Inbox. Or 2. I could tap the little side button that expanded the notification and click on one of the emails to be taken directly there.
Since Android 12 upgrade, I no longer have option 1. I bought a OnePlus 10 Pro - it came with Android 12 installed, and I have the exact same issue.
I am not seeing this behavior with a Sammy on Android 12, so it has to be something in with Oxygen OS.
Anyone else seeing this, and do you see it as issue? Is there a way to set it so when you click on the notification, it just opens the App like you were clicking the App's icon? I TRULY MISS THIS
Yes this is a very big feature and product miss. Not able to understand why this is not blown up yet.
Hi all,
The latest official update for the Pixel 5 dropped the FEATURE_VR_MODE_HIGH_PERFORMANCE system feature flag.
I don't have one of these devices myself, but I'm wondering if at least the display mode is still available when rooted.
If someone's running the latest AOSP on their Pixel 5, can you do an ls on /sys/class/backlight/panel0-backlight/ and see if there's a vr_mode in there? I reckon writing 0/1 to that file should enable/disable it.
I've got an AOSP ticket requesting that "low persistence" just be exposed as a display preference, so I'm interested if there are devices that have the display option still even without flagging FEATURE_VR_MODE_HIGH_PERFORMANCE.

Android 13 supports per app language settings, but I don't see this option in the latest Oxygen OS 13 update. Any suggestions?
I also noted the same issue, done a lot of research without answer
Hey, any news on this?
I am searching this option aswell. There is no option on the phone settings. no official information from oneplus / oxygenos aswell. Another point to be disappointed at..
some apps allow changing the language on the appointment settings, that's all I found
I was very happy with my find x3 neo... Until yesterday android 13 upgrade, now I'm getting this really annoying popup every ten minutes, no way to stop it or fix that (or disable) that app. It's a system app, in English is named Quick Device Connect i think, it's a feature like airdrop I think, something that I won't use at all and I'm totally not interested in using it.
Already chatted with official support, they suggested me to go back to factory defaults (lol) I have a lot of data and settings, I just don't want to do that, it would be sufficient to simply make this useless feature to no start at all or simply hide this error popup. I don't feel the need to fix this app since I'm not planning to use it at all.
Any new updates after android 13?
I've fixed by installing the oneplus version of quick device connect using an apk i found in the wild, if someone has the same problem can try this method
