We need your MID in order to help you. It says M7_WLS which is Sprint, but MID could've been changed. So, post a fastboot getvar all output, and then we'll be able to help

Your English is good don't worry.
You need a computer with adb/fastboot tools installed on it (google search for "minimal adb and fastboot"). If you're using a Windows computer, you'll also need to install latest HTC's drivers. Connect your phone to your computer using the usb cable and reboot in bootloader mode. Make sure "FASTBOOT USB" is shown in red. Go to your computer start menu --> Programs --> Minimal adb and fastboot --> minimal adb and fastboot.exe. A command window will open, type "fastboot getvar all" (without the quotes). Copy the output of that command and paste it in your next post. Make sure to delete the IMEI and SERIALNO strings before posting your "getvar all".

can you post the ouput of "fastboot getvar all"except the IMEI and SERIALNO.
install ADB/FASTBOOT (Android SDK) and HTC drivers on your computer. When your phone is connected to the computer and in bootloader mode, open a cmd prompt from your ADB/FASTBOOT folder and type:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
These info will be helpful to determine if you can restore the phone using a RUU. If not, then you will need to install a custom ROM.

Hey! thx for the instructions, but I actually installed a ROM. I put it in a thumbdrive and used an OTG cable and installed it from TWRP. Basically, everything seems fine, the wifi was working, everything was working EXCEPT the mobile network. I realised that this may be because I live in a diff region?
I used this ViperOne 6.2.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334294) . and I'm living in Malaysia. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thank you

What fastboot commands do you need ? your phone is already a google device
just use the RUU >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781
or the Nandroid >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/rom-lollipop-5-0-1-gpe-nand-backup-twrp-t2963308

Your phone is S-ON which mean you can only flash a RUU that is the same version or newer than your actual version 7.18.206.2.
The x.xx.401.x base isn't for your phone, its for the Unlocked WWE/Europe version. Your phone is from O2 UK so you must use a x.xx.206.x base. There is only 3 version newer than your actual version which give you 4 possibility in total: 7.18.206.2, 7.18.206.21, 7.18.206.30 or 7.18.206.51.
Since you want to update better to go straight for the latest version: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24352994023702662
flash it using instructions of this post <------ important

Build number doesn't matter, only the information from your bootloader screen or from a "fastboot getvar all" does.
Your phone is a O2 UK version (.206), not Telus (.661).

Thank you, glad to know that everything is working fine :good:
A friend brought me his HTC One blocked in bootloop: it's just possibile entering the bootloader.
I tried to install a custom recovery (TWRP) via fastboot with no results (phone goes on rebooting continuously).
I tried also to reinstall a stock rom via RRU (exe), with same bad results.
Could you please suggest me how to restore the phone? I'd prefer being able to install TWRP and a custom rom, but in this situation even a restore to stock would be good.
These are datas showed in bootloader:

If he flashed the 7.17.1540.51 ruu and its still bootlooping the problem is most likely hardware related. I would try to flash the ruu again and report the exact error. The ouput of "fastboot oem dmesg" and "fastboot oem last_dmesg" might also help determine if the hardware is faulty (i.e. bad emmc chip).

Hi all,
I have a Htc One m7 from a friend of mine BRICKED.
It cannot load any os or recovery, however I can access the bootloader. Currently this is the situation:
***LOCKED***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT - 1.61.0000
RADIO - 4T.35.3218.16
OpenDSP - V35.120.274.0718
OS - 7.19.401.51
eMMC-boot 2048MB
NOV 16 2015. 20:23:35.0
I want to unbrick it, i don't care (want) to s-off, don't care (want) to unlock bootloader. Also I don't care if after unbricking it shows Locked, Relocked or anything else on the bootloader, just a functional phone.
Now, I've done some research and came to this conclusion, just flash the right RUU EXE for my phone and it should boot as normal. I just want a confirmation for this. Please, any senior member here at Xda if can tell me this is correct or I'm missing something.
Thanks!

Flashing the 7.19.401.51 ruu.zip should bring it back to life, as long as the problem isn't hardware related.
That ruu can be find in the general section (see stickies) or link in my signature.
Make sure to use htc_fastboot.exe to flash the ruu (not the regular fastboot.exe)

Thank you for your support!
However I'm experiencing another difficulty, when I try to connect the phone in fastboot mode (boot into bootloader > select the fastboot option > fastboot becomes red on top > but when connected to pc is not being recognised)
It remains on FASTBOOT doesn't become FASTBOOT USB. And the PC doesn't recognize it at all. Even double checked my pc (USB 2.0 Win 10) on Device Manager nothing. Tried another PC (USB 2.0 Win 7), even on Ubuntu with LSUSB doesn't see it.
BUT when connected on the pc while pushing "Power button" + "Volume up (+)" it is being recognized as "qhsusb_dload".
Do you think it is hardware failure, or there might be a chance of recovery?
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!
