Lenovo K5 Encryption unsuccessful - phone blocked! - Android Themes

Hello,
My phone is blocked. What ? Yes, and really impossible to do something.
I bought a new Lenovo K5 A6020a40.
I rooted it (with SuperSU), and installed TWRP twrp-k5-3.0.2-r4_scritch007.img
Then I installed Cyanogenmod 14 (cm-14.1-20161213-UNOFFICIAL-A6020.zip), and it was ok.
But I forgot to install Gapp, and to be clean, I thinked it was better to do a new install from scratch.
So I install the last version of TWPR twrp-k5-3.0.3-n1_shreps.img, and wipe the phone, then TWPR propose to reboot. I don’t know why but I say yes, and since them my phone block to the Cyanogenmod 14 intro screen : “Preparing to start… Starting apps…”
After more than 5 hours a message appears: “Encryption unsuccessful” (img1). But I never asked to encrypt my phone!
img1.JPG
So I click on reset (the only choice), the TWPR screen appears,
img2.JPG
and automatically “Running OpenRecoveryScript” is launched. Apparently wipe and format again.
img3.JPG
The K5 reboot, and again Cyanogenmod 14 intro screen : “Preparing to start… Starting apps…”
If I press volume up + power button together, the phone stay on the first Lenovo screen (with the Lenovo logo only).
So, before I lost my mind, if someone have an idea, it would be really really appreciated.
Thank you for any help and have a nice day.
Regard
ps : I can't show you any images because the forum say that I can't post external link, until it is images's links.
ps2 : and of course I searched a lot on forum and other but can't find any solution, because I can't access to my phone in any way.

Zte nubia z9 mini (urgent help required) bootloop

Hi ,
I am new on this forum so sorry moderators if i have posted this where i shouldn't have . I recently got a ZTE NUBIA Z9 Mini and i wanted to root it so tried different methords and somehow i managed to soft brick it or as they say its in a bootloop. Whenever i try to boot the phone with volume up button + power button just the home screen nubia logo appears and it stays there. I am absolutely clueless what to do ... followed some youtube videos to flash new rom using fastboot but apparently it needs back up files which i don't have .
Someone please help me
Thanks !
Possible Fix?
Hey have you tried to boot to recovery? it can depend where you brought it from. I got mine directly from the nubia store on thier website and it came rooted with a recovery system already in place, i had the same issue as you I booted into recovery power+vol down downloaded the rom again or most up to date rom from the website or in my case needroms website . Then i just installed the rom from update on the sd card View attachment 3357925 then it took about 3-5 mins to install and i rebooted it. View attachment 3357928 After this it should be as normal like flashing any rom onto any android device then wolla done even all my apps and data remained safe because it was only a software update flashed over.

Don't do nothing I had the same bug here with the logo Nubia again and again.
Just let the phone discharging itself (as you can't remove the battery). It will take around 24 hours.
Put an official rom on your sd card.
When the battery is out (try to power and if nothing happens it's good) just plug your phone to charge (not on pc) and try to go to the recovery. It should works.
Then load the official rom and after you will restore your backup (if you have one).

I tried this already, just without sd card. Problem is, that I cannot go to recovery. If I press volume - and power I'll get just on logo screen, nothing else...
If I plug completely discharged phone on charger and press nothing, then just charging procentage appear for a while and then is dead again.
you can use one-click-tool.
first you switch off your.....try two or three times....or try again and again ....if you switch off your fone....then try to switch on in to fastboot....i have downloaded a fast boot rom..........1.16 version........extract the downloaded folder then first you click on ....z9 mini app in this folder.....and connect your mobile to pc......its start in automaticly.......wait for restart.......ohla....your mobile runs....https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14zmeE7OLybaW5KWS1rME1Fd0U/view?usp=sharing
Problem solved!!!
This helped:
- Use a fast microSD card and copy on the root folder the original Nubia ROM (you can download it on the first page of this thread)
- Insert this microSD card into the phone
- Turn on your phone and let the battery completely discharge
- When the phone is turned off, press and hold Volume - than connect your AC adapter (USB cable connected to PC does not work), en Should start in bootloader menu
- If you can successfully start the bootloader menu, run the phone into recovery mode and than install the rom from external sd card
At the moment there is not any tool or bin format image for this phone

Thanks a million, it saved my phone
Hello everyone!
I had the bootloop problem and I could solve it following your recommendations. My problem is that the original ROM installation process was suddenly stopped (I don't know exactly why) and now I have no access to the OS. Everytime I reboot it, the system goes to the bootloader showing this message:
Bootloader Menu
You entered this screen because:
No kernel (boot partition is bad)
Now you are in fastboot mode
The phone is fused
Then I have access to TWRP or to the original Nubia recovery, but I can't install a new ROM. I can restore backups but when I restart the system it goes to the bootloader menu again. Any solution for this issue?
Thank you in advance!

Hi again!
I finally could flash the official ROM via TWRP. Initially I was trying to flash this ROM from the SD card, but the installation didn't work neither with TWRP nor with Nubia recovery. Then I copied the ROM to the internal storage and flashed it with TWRP with no more issues. Hope this information is useful for other members.
Thank you!

Hi once again, dudes!
As I told you this morning, I finally managed to fix my problem with the no-kernel message. However, after the reboot, I have lost wifi and bluetooth connections. When I turn on the wifi it doesn't even search for available networks. I have tried with official ROMs 1.16 and 1.19 and with a custom multilanguage ROM, doing factory reset (sometimes even system formats) before each ROM installation. Everything is working properly but I can't turn on the wifi and bluetooth.
Any idea or solution? Thank you very much!
Solution to WiFi and Bluetooth problems
Just to let you know that I finally managed to solve my problem with WiFi and Bluetooth. I got a backup of the 'persist' partition from a colleague's Z9 mini that worked perfectly and restored it in my device via TWRP.
RAW format image caputure
hi guys,
Since Nubia Z9 Mini runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop version) with latest Camera 2 APIs with Manual control over camera, would like to know if the default Camera App supports Image capturing in RAW format.
Also can we use third party application like Camera FV-5 which supports RAW format image capturing feature in Nubia Z9 Mini,
Since you guys are users of Nubia Z9 Mini, pls. confirm this for me..
Thanks in advance..

And how do you let the phone discharging itsel if the initial screen with nubia logo dissappears after a few seconds???
It won't discharge itself because it switchs off every time.
Anyone can tell me what to do?
Thank you.
Problem with Nubia Z9 mini
I've had this phone for 1 month and installed this ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/rooting-roms/rom-nubia-z9-mini-nx511j-rom-twrp-t3142204
Phone was working perfectly fine this morning but I noticed it had only about 30% battery left so I tried to charge it and it wouldn't charge? Tried computer cable, original Nubia cable and even others and nothing charged the phone. So decided to restart the phone to see if this fixed it and now the phone is just stuck on Nubia home screen . Can't restart or turn off or anything.... If i press volume down and power button it makes the screen print/camera sound and that's all i can do.
I'm not the most technical with all the mobile software stuff ect but can manage if guided
Also the phone is becoming really hot
Would greatly appreciate some help with this
thanks
I have a different problem here . I had stock ROM (India) when I purchased. Very laggy. I rooted, loaded TWRP, put MIUI-6, it was better, all working, but a little laggy too. Later put [email protected] The ROM is good (faster, very clean and clear voice, faster wifi etc...) but later found data not working. I read somewhere that the ROM may not be suitable for Indian version. When I want to load back the backup of MIUI-6, I am unable to boot in recovery mode. Only Nubia logo appears with all combination of switches. I am able to enter into recovery menu (Vol- and power). When I select "boot into recovery mode", only Nubia logo appears. I saw the directories in the PC, there is no TWRP directory in the internal storage. I tried to once again load TWRP, in the PC I get everything o.k, but in the phone, it strucks at recovery screen, and hangs. I have to press vol- and power to reboot again. It reboots o.k. Now, how do I get into TWRP recovery? Is there anyway to make data working with the present ROM? I tried all, like, draining the battery ...... etc.... not helping. Some information in this regard will be of great help.
I have tried everything possible as below.
As the above case, I am also using Indian version of Z9 Mini. I have flashed TWRP and then flashed MIUI6 & 7 and after that I came back to original rom through backup. Then after that, once again I came to MIUI7, after that when I tried to came to original rom, I can't. So I have downloaded last ROM from [email protected] , that is 3.61 . I that, my sim cards were not detecting. After that, when I tried to open TWRP , I can't. Just Nubia logo screen. After that I tried One Click Root Tool to flash TWRP. At that time , when my phone gone for rebooting , it's gone. Now whenever I tried to boot the phone or boot into bootloader , only that nubia logo screen appears. When I tried to flash through fastboot , device is not detecting. Why so ? . No partitions are seen on computer . I have tried all above steps , but no help . When I tried that fastboot flashable ROM by vijay2 , phone reboots to bootloader and in computer, it flashes everything. But after reboot , it is as same as before . What to do ? . If it is the case of missing driver , then please give me a link for it.

Proper and detailed sequence for ROM flash on logo frozen screen and rooted Hisense.

Dear friends , I will be as accurate as I can.
I rooted my Hisense C20 with Kingoroot. When I tried to erase the apps that came with it I noticed that I couldn't get rid of Kinguser app.......or so I thought I could.....
I downloaded then SuperSume Pro , and while it was running and saying that it was deleting Kingroot artifacts, it stopped working. When I tried to reboot the phone so the app could run again , the phone remained frozen on the logo screen without giving me access to any order, not even power off.
1. I managed to access recovery menu by pressing power key-volume down,
2. I tried ''wipe data-factory reset'' and ''wipe cache partition'' ,
3. reboot system, but nothing happened.
4. Taking a shot , I pressed ok button to ''apply update from ADB'' choise and it answered ''now send the package you want to apply with adb sideload''....
I have read so many new for me articles the last two days and I value a great respect for all those to make them work!!!
My phone is Hisense C20 with Android 5.1.1 and product no. C20FE-1 and it was? rooted. It has an Alcatel ADB Interface. I downloaded on my PC the Alcatel ADB Interface , Adroid SDK and Hisense C20FE_1 official (it said..) ROM.
Could PLEASE so much and respectfully someone tell me if there is a proper and detailed way to bring back my phone using what I have , or anything else more proper for the job?? Am I in the right way? It is the first time I even read about these procedures....
I would respect so much if someone who is sure about it would take his time to give me an advice or even better a detailed and in his simplest English path step-by-step to the solution.
Except the ''paint it blue and drop it in the sea'' one......
THANK YOU all in advance. Yannis

Huawei Mate 10 android pie custom rom flashing

Lemme guess, you're here because something about EMUI just doesn't serve you well.
I sure hope you're in the right thread.
I found flashing mate 10 to be too confusing, I've spent over 10 hours working on mine to make it work, so I hope you don't have to.
I am new to flashing Huawei phones, so if there are anything that could have been done better, please let me know.
Please take everything I write with a grain of salt, this worked for me but I'm not sure if it will work for anyone else.
tldr: if you find a rom for honor view 10, there is a good chance that it would work for mate 10 too
*IMPORTANT: NONE OF THESE RECOVERIES OR ROMS USED ARE OFFICIAL, FLASH AT UR OWN RISK*
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE TRYING ANYTHING, YOU MIGHT SRSLY SCREW UP
Model: ALP-AL00 or A00 (its the Chinese duo sim version)
Steps:
1. Get ADB here
2. Unlock the bootloader, here's how.
3. Install twrp which is downloaded here
, I used "twrp_bla_alp_0.7.img". After you installed and run 'fastboot reboot', immediately unplug ur phone and hold up volume button until twrp shows up
4. Wipe your data in twrp with format data
a) If run into system unable to unmount error, try factory reset a few times then format until the error no longer appearsb) If ur device internal storage does not load or takes forever, restart your phone and enter twrp by 'adb reboot bootloader' and 'fastboot reboot', still immediately unplug and hold up buttonc) If after restart ur touchscreen stopped working. which happened to mine, connect a mouse via type c and proceed, don't panic6. Download rom here and install, make sure you flash all system, gapps, Huawei cam and hotspot patch at one go then reboot
7. Enjoy! :good:
Before you ask any questions:
- If you don't have ur bootloader unlocked, I got my code from a personal transaction for 30 euros, pm me for more info as I am not affiliated and do not want to publicly advertise
- If you never flashed any other rom before, I don't recommend this procedure
- If during setup your phone takes forever to update, just pop a sim card in and choose to restore ur phone from google account
- If you used the above point and after you get in system tries to setup in notification bar, just disable system setup in app settings
- If something went seriously wrong, you can always do emui recovery through pressing volume up in that "ur phone is unlock and can't be trusted" bootup screen (given you didn't screw up emui recovery, data format and factory reset in twrp will not rid emui recovery)
Where I ran into problems I can't resolve:
- After flashing the rom, my twrp doesn't seem to cooperate anymore as it just gets stuck on the loading screen forever. Reflashing twrp doesn't seem to solve the problem
What works (That I care about):
- Pretty much every normal function
- Huawei camera, tho it no where near as good as stock Huawei camera on emui for mate 10 but its miles above the default camera in custom roms
What's missing that I found so far (or I'm just too dumb to find it)
- Can't customize power menu
- Can't customize icons in notification bar
- No support for Huawei's fingerprint sensor gestures
- Snapchat bug (see pics), can be bandaged by the anything that toggles nav bar hide like xda's navigation gestures
Here are some images: https://imgur.com/a/kGkFP8C
Overall I have been using this rom for around 4 days now on my daily driver, it has been very stable and I would say its daily driver material. To those of you who wants to flash their mate 10, wish you the best of luck!

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Accidently erased the whole drive, phone stuck on boot menu

Hello Guys
Today iv rooted my Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, installed twrp recovery, all worked well. Then i decided to look for a stable rom, because my rom wasnt allowing me to use mobile data, i was getting error that sim card is not cnc. So because i couldnt find another solution on this, iv tried few roms that i found stable and with easy instal and good reviews. None of the roms worked for me, i dont know why, because i was following the tutorials. And when i was trying out the last rom something happened, when the phone booted to the recovery it didnt asked for pattern lock anymore and was saying : E:Unable to decrypt FBE device. And after that i noticed that my data and system data is missing from the main storage, So now the phone powers on to the boot menu and i can access twrp recovery and thats it. Please can someone help me to fix this

[Question] Pixel Experience 12+ on my Redmi 9 is rebooting on lock screen.

Hello, it's my first post on this forum so sorry If I made this thread in the wrong place.
I have been trying to install PE 12 (plus edition) using official PE site (https://download.pixelexperience.org/lava).
After many attempts to do so, I ended up installing different TWRP recovery images and wiping everything from my phone.
Then I've tried installing official recovery image from site and I've installed ROM by adb sideload and it worked.
First boot wasn't a problem, but from start phone would sometimes crash when attempting to turn it on (or, attempting to unlock lock screen. I can write my PIN, but then rebooting happens). When it wouldn't crash (it's not happening every time) everything would be working as long as I don't turn it off. I don't know what is causing that behaviour.
Would reinstallation help or is it hardware problem (not enough RAM etc.), or lack of swap partition?
PS: Updating every app on phone doesn't help, as well as removing lock screen (no PIN etc.).
Update: I have installed different ROM from sourceforge dedicated to my phone version (galahad). It is android 11. Works 100% fine.
