Hi all,
my phone is stuck in bootloop. I don't have TWRP, only the the stock erecovery. However, it says that I need to download the latest version of it and when I click on it it fails to download. What can I do? Can I download the EVA-L09C432B182 and force flash it?
Thanks!

Hi Guys,
i really need your help. I debranded and flashed my P9 to a c432b167 firmware using the SRK Tool. But now im unable to downgrade to b136 (to be able to get the b170 OTA).
After i unzipped the full b136 to my SDCard und trying to flash it with the 3-Button Method, im always get an Error at 5%: "Software install failed! - Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package."
Also the full b170 brings the same Error.
I would be very happy if someone could help me
Thanks in advance
mike
i would like to know this too cause whenever i tried to flash a firmware i get the same error.
hope someone can help.
Okay, i was able to solve the problem by myself. Here is what i did:
Using the SRK Tool i reopened the bootloader, installed the twrp recovery and rooted the P9. Then i flashed the c432 oeminfo again. Right after this i was able to flash the c432b136 using the stock recovery without getting the error. When the p9 rebooted i recieved the c432b170 OTA.
Hello family; you all much appreciated for the support here:
i have an G925A stuck in a boot loop and asks to check DRK. i seem to have no clue on how to go about it, and asking for your kind help.
I have the same problem.
I have updated from 5.0.2 to 6.0.1 (I tried different firmwares found here) and now the phone doesn't boot anymore (it says something about DRK) and goes automatically into recovery mode.
Download mode still working but I don't know what to flash anymore....I can't downgrade to 5.0.2 since the bootloader doesn't allow and I can't try to upgrade to Nougat since "install zip from adb" in original recovery doesn't work...

I had the same issue after trying MM ROM from 5.1.1. Finally I solved this issue following step.
1) My trial MM ROM is PK5 version
2) I try Download ROM (full 4 files) via Odin
3) The issue is remained. I try Download ROM via Odin which is 5.1.1 root version in development board. In recovery mode, you can select reboot. Then phone is freezed with galaxy logo screen without entering recovery mode again.
4) I retry Download PK5 AP ROM only via Odin.
Then phone start to work normally with MM.
But it is not fixed issue. If you enter recovery mode. You will meet the DRK error again.
Anyway, I hope you can slove DRK error issue
Hi, I've been trying to find a way to root this P9 version the whole day. Somehow I am stuck now. Bootloader is unlocked and I managed to install twrp. I can also install the patched SuperSU but when I reboot it keeps on looping and boots into eRecovery after a couple of times. Already tried a couple of SuperSUs but nothing works. Reason for the Root is that I want to debrand the phone and flash european firmware.
Is it eventually possible to roll back to marshmallow to get it rootet? Any advice what I could try?
I used firmware finder to udgade nougat to oreo on my P10. I used VTR-L29... which the app said was okay for my device, now i'm stuck on the Huawei eRecovery page but when i try to press download latest... it doesn't work, i'm stuck in a loop. My problem is that I have a backup, but I dont have TWRP installed...
I'm really stuck... can someone help?
Use firmware finder for pc and push the update by proxy and then Erecovery should work.
It's your phone branded?
And don't forget to push with the same version that you had before trying to flash with ff
Hey guys, I've got some problems with my Mi8.
After flashing a zip I wasn't supposed to , I got stucked in Fastboot bootloop.
I tried to flash the stock ROM and it turned out to work, BUT just the android 8.1 version. When I try to update it to android 9 or try to flash it, I get stucked in fastboot bootloop again.
Do you guys have any idea of what could I do?
Thanks! :good:
