AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Android Ice Cold Project that started on HTC Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until lollipop, ROM has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CyanogenMod when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Make sure you have the latest TWRP recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
Reboot system and setup!
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

i have found the same bug for M7 but it is saved if u go and want to change the network ex. from 3g to LTE it is saved but u need to go into network settings tho. Thx for testing.
stay tuned for updates

everything work good! except network mod cant save , very thx!

Guys is there still users for m7vzw?

Wait fix network mode saver)))

Posting this so others with the m7 on sprint know, this rom does have the unable to sent text bug that has existed for sprint users since 6.0.
You can only receive text but cannot send them, really wish someone knew how to fix it, sucks having to be on 5.1 to have working texting...
Thanks for developing for this phone though, most people have left it behind, great to see a well working rom even if texting doesn't work, always have liked AICP roms.

Does any know how to get full 21 mbps 3G speed with this ROM ? i used to get full 3G speed on stock venom ROM but with this ROM i'm able to get barely 1 mbps of down and up speeds in 3G also the network drops consistently and resets itself to CDMA/LTE which doesn't work in my country . Is there any fix for wrong ASU readings ,low signal also? I google them and the build prop contents that needs to be changed to get better 3G speeds are not available in this ROM . do i have to add it or the feature doesn't exists at all.

hey. try to remove this "#" from this line in build.prop telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1 if the data dosnt work at all then add it again

Used this ROM for two days and here are my results .
1.There is a problem with the cpu governor parameters which causes the youtube videos to stutter at 720p .
2.We need to add RIL build prop parameters manually to utilize full 3G speeds since there is nothing created by default.
3.battery is more or less same as stock ROM
4.camera is ok .
5.manually changing the cpu governor parameters restarts the device.

After 4 days of Use , I'm switching back to stock ROM since there are some unbearable problems with this device .
1. There are severe problems with CPU governor parameters which makes the device to restart randomly while playing music may be due to poor frequency and voltage scaling when needed, i was hearing music continuously for 40 minutes and at one point the music started stuttering and the device restarted itself , although i found the music quality is good compared to other custom ROM's
2.YouTube videos still lags at 720p and with some videos at even 480p, if i change the CPU governor then the device tends to restart .
3. poor signal reception for voice at GSM (Auto PRL) where i couldn't even here the other person talking clearly while with stock ROM it was effortless. It seems the firmware cannot keep up on latching to cellular towers .
4. FM radio doesn't work although i don't care about it.

here is an little update https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634743613 hope u enjoy this rom
try this kernel https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298917630 it might work better then stock :good:

Download the latest rom from our venomroms download page
If you got an external sdcard place the downloaded zip there. In case you haven't, wait for step 6 to copy it to your internal sdcard.
Backup your internal sdcard if you got important content on it. Unlocking bootloader will wipe all your data, including your internal sdcard. Your external sdcard will stay untouched.
Register at HTCdev if you dont have an account yet and follow the instructions there to unlock your bootloader
Boot up your phone and copy the rom to your internal sdcard in case you didn't in step one to your external.
Download the lastest TWRP Recovery version on the TWRP Download Page
Flash it with fastboot with following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (replace recovery.img with the actual filename it got downloaded with)
To boot into recovery use 'adb reboot recovery' or press and hold power + volume down and wait till it booted to the bootloader. From there you can navigate with the volume buttons and confirm with the power button to boot to the recovery
If you are coming from stock: Make a backup of your stock rom in TWRP recovery. Include System Image and Boot. Now you have a full stock backup, except recovery, in case you want to return back to stock one day.
Ensure you allow system modifications in TWRP when asked.
In TWRP click Install and pick the rom either from internal or external sdcard to install it.
The installer will start and will guide you through the installation

Kung FUU
If you have questions regarding Firmware, you may redirect them to my thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/development/progress-fuu-m8-t2813792
Please be aware though that i keep my thread mainly for providing the files and information, I dislike off-topic very much and will ask moderation to rigidly remove anything that is not helpful to other users (helpful are problems with good answers in not too many posts ). This is in most cases nothing personal, let me just say: don't be offended if a post of yours is being removed as regular thread maintenance.
The other option you can use is the new ticket support system on venomroms.com where i will be trying to answer firmware/viperone related questions. You may NOT abuse that support system for purely firmware related stuff because that is my business and not Team Venom's. The support system is theirs though. So please do ask, but make sure its the right place for your question first!
Thanks guys!
18.08.2014 Post Quote from way up the thread
KK listen up guys quick heads-up on an important firmware thing:
the past days have revealed some real sh!t issues with guys running old Firmware underneath this nice ROM - nothing we can do about sorry.
BUT: i have this neat FUU solution over HERE which will give you a similar way like HTC's RUU to update your firmware you WILL need S-OFF this way. S-ON users, please check HERE!
Now, the current Tmobile section seems not to have an active Firmware guy anymore, so i decided to run a quick FUU / ZIP package for ya.
Grab it right where the first link points. INT users please refer to Post #1 of same thread and VZW, sorry you're currently screwed.
PLEASE do update your Firmware - it will save you enormous headaches! Some phones seem not to take it too well. This is real.
UPDATE 2014/10/11
Looks like there's yet another firmware support nightmare rolling in.
3.28.401.6 will be fine with ViperOneM8 2.5.0 - no issues detected. Full Firmware package available on my thread in the above link.
3.28.401.6 ROM however will NOT be running on older firmware! You WILL have to UPDATE.
Oh heck yeah! Bring it, my Dev edition M8 is shipped today! I love you guys, so glad to see you, Jan, and Hansbert here Turge!
oooooooohhhh, the moment I've been waiting for since I got my m8!!
Thank you!!!

Download links are up.. Enjoy the rom boys!
Please note that this is a daily driver but may be the odd bug so bear with us while we iron them out as you report them. And also remember to please search the thread before reporting anything to see if it's been reported/addressed before.
Party time! Have fun nice work team
Thank you guys! Ya'll made my day!
Super fast development... I thought we'd be waiting at least a month for this ROM!
Last ROM that will be on my phone.
Sent from my HTC One M8
Also, this is currently only for GSM (AT&T / TMO / Rogers / Telus / Bell / etc.).
Sprint and Verizon support will be made available soon.
Enjoy the rom guys! For those who have never flashed a Team Venom rom, you won't know what you're missing until you flash it. Most of our users never flash another rom.
Oh snap! The last thing that was holding me back has been lifted, both of my favorite ROMs are out for M8! Hell yeah!

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
Install latest TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash the rom, and a gapps
Reboot system and setup!
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.

Cannot comment on the battery backup right now, need to use it for few days to know..the reason for sharing this ROM was for its tons of customization which are the USP of this ROM.
Great work by the ROM team..:good:
I have flashed this ROM by this morning, since then I started loving it.. it has tons and tons of customization.... many are not present in other custom ROMS..
My Quick Observations so far are
* Buttery smooth ROM
* Tons of customization
* No heating issue.. even with heavy usage..
I will comment the battery backup after using it for few days.
A must try ROM I would say!! Thanks a lot to the dev team !!

Thanks worked . Keep up the great work ✌?
Bugs
Overall the ROM is good and there are tons of customisation.... Battery backup is good but it is a little less than AOSP Ex... Smooth performance..
Bugs-
1. The lock-screen goes blank for 3-4 sec after every customisation. But it becomes normal after some times. I think its a bug in Ambient display.
2. There's a little error in Slow Motion camera and High speed frames...
But overall, good work devs..
Bug in camera, scanner is'nt working

Hi, Can u give steps to reproduce this, which scanner didn't work ..
The rom is beautiful and did not notice any major bugs yet. But slight a small bug i "heard" while earphones plugged in and music is on sometimes when the next song is played after one the music gets a little distorted or something like that then i have to pause the music and play again then it clears properly. Overall good rom and loved it many customisation battery is also decent as oreo. And just wanted to know will this continue to get updates ?

Warning !
Ok, I try to flash with TWRP like other rom but I had error 7, so no system, no problem I restore my backup but after 15 % error 255, can't mount /system, start to panic finally redelete everything and flash my old RR 7.1.2 zip and seems to reworks so I'm searching to resolve error 7 but I'm warning you it actually doesn't work for me. I'm going to retry after a reboot (it's actually booting).

That's a pity, your builds work better.
Anyway, thanks for your work and for bringing Havoc for our device (I really love this ROM!).
After one week usage of this room I don't found any bug. Just one thing when the weather was above 35°C inside my house, when I was doing Google image search the device was really really hot, I couldn't handle the phone for the first time so I stopped using it and turned off, it still working Battery is correct without battery saving for a 3yo phone, 10am to 17pm with YouTube, Spotify, chrome and CarXdrifting. Probably the best Oreo rom for our device thank you very much for keeping this device updated.

TWRP for zenlte
For some reason, TeamWin's build servers couldn't build version 3.4.0-0 for zenlte from the marshmallow branch of the official source tree (the most recent one), so I ran my own build:
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.img
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.tar
zenltetmo has an official 3.4.0-0 build.
I've been following thread since on note5 pages. Im glad that u finally make it on here
Tried to install here, and current message is Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file. SMG928G
Just needed to erase first lines of the updaterscript to get install on TWRP.
Wi-fi not working. calls stays on speaker only.

Hi,
Wanted to join you at Telegram, but get the message the invite has expired or I get "This chat does not exist".

Hello I really like the ROM you are building
I'm new to custom roms, is this compatible with my S6 Edge+ AT&T (SM-G928A)? I searched online and it says it's a GSM model sl I'm confused if my phone is compatible. Thanks!
success on G928F
@ripee, thank you very much!
@ripee, a typo? "Flash Gapps [ARM64/9.0/PICO](Optional)". Should it not be 10.0?
Just rooted my G928F, using these instructions: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html
As I'm using Linux, I used the odin4 cli from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/odin4-v1-0-linux-t3782930
./odin4 -a CF-Auto-Root-zenlte-zenltexx-smg928f.tar.md5
@ripee, thanks again for the TWRP build earlier in the thread, I needed that.
./adb push twrp-3.3.1-0-zenlte.img /sdcard/
Used TWRP app to flash the zip
Used open gapps from https://opengapps.org/
./adb push lineage-17.1-20200315-UNOFFICIAL-zenlte.zip /sdcard/
./adb push .open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20200322.zip /sdcard/
Used TWRP to flash above
All is running fine till now, not found any major issue till now.
is there any fix for in call audio i have none using g928t

Best Mod so far. Thx. The only thing I've noticed is the battery drain with AOD enabled. But all other ROMS having this issue too.
@Juan PriQue
Sounds good
I'll try soon after unlock waiting time
Please add smart charge then the feature list seems perfect
Most satble and feature rich rom.
Thanks @Juan PriQue
the ROM is absolutely awesome, I love it. The only "con" would be for users who don't like to root, safetynet doesn't pass without magisk
Battery drain was 2% last night, impressive
Can someone post any screenshots?
Derp was my favourite ROM during my Poco F1 days. Many features but well implemented. I'll absolutely test it. And it's official!

check the Telegram in the OP, you can find screenshots there
The only issue that I found is that I can't login in the paypal app
PS: Safetynet is OK
PS 2: The problem was Adaway, not the ROM. The ROM is Great!
What I've noticed, is that the brightness of the AOD is a bit buggy. Sometimes it doesn't change according to the set brightness of the main screen, where it doesn't matter if you change via slider or via sliding on the notification bar.
A separation in the AOD settings would make more sense.
But all in all I love this ROM.
thx bro!
Rom is nice but i have a issue with Fingerprint Login to Apps like my Bank App and you cant update goole play system. Its Stuck on Jan 1, 2021.
@Juan PriQue Thank you dev!!
Seems like a crazy good ROM! will flash it soon, is it possible to include call recording for regions that do not have legislations with regards to declaring recording taking place?
ROM is working fine so far - i forgot how fast AOSP feels compared to MIUI ^^
only Problem is i am facing deepsleep issue.... after disconnected from charger i´ve lost 5% battery in 8 hrs and phone was in deepsleep for 6% of the time
edit:
i´ve found out that deepsleep seems to work with first boot and intsllstion of all aps but with a restart of the system DS stops working
anyway you give a such a great experience with this ROM compared to MIUI that i´ll stay with it and hope that this issue will get fixed sood
Still missing a QS Tile for switching the ringer mode. Can you include it in next release?
Best stable rom with too many customisations
Today I've managed to switch from my old device to the RN. Set all up, inserted the SIM but it occurred a bug, which makes this ROM absolutely unusable for me.
LTE/4G isn't working. For my region I need to use Band 20. On stock MIUI it worked perfectly. Could it be a firmware issue? Do I need to update it our is it a bug by the ROM?
Any ideas?

Thx for the tip. Will try it tomorrow
First of all this a great rom!
Just a few bugs I would like to report
1- camera does not turn on for face unlock, so it fails sometimes
2- app opening animation stutter half of the time as well as notification panel when swiping down
