Cant download the latest update..

Cant seem to download the latest update 5.8.27......
Cant even download from the download page... Not even ota...

You need to add an "o" without the quote to the front of the download link.
IE. bigota.d.miui.com/5.8.27/miui_MINotePro_5.8.27_6806a61319_5.0.zip ==> obigota.d.miui.com/5.8.27/miui_MINotePro_5.8.27_6806a61319_5.0.zip
Do this for every subsequent downloads until they solve the issue.

Can someone please post a mirror? Got some huge bugs (WLAN doesnt work / Browser force close).

But AFAIK the changes is minimal and it doesn't mention any wifi fix in the changelog.

Do you have wifi problems? I dont.. Maybe check your wife settings..

No I do not have wifi problem on v5.9.1.

Again can't download latest.

Try http://www.smiui.net/ it will generate a tweak rom mod for you.

Neither do I, first time.
Did you disable location? I have done that since the previous ota that had worked, I have put it on again but I wonder if that's the reason why I am not able to update anymore.

Negative....I'm running a ROM from there now

The update that should be possible through updater app is mo than 700mo when the one available on en.miu is only around 40mo, can anyone explain why?

Between last update which I had done through ota and this one I have freezed some more Chinese app, including baidu.map.
Maybe that's the reason I am not able to take ota now.

Xiaomi is having server issues at the moment which they are fixing. That's the reason of extremely slow downloads

[N910C] New 69.3MB OTA to Poland Firmware

Hi everyone,
I am from Turkey. I am using SM-N910CQ variant of Note 4. I flashed 5.1.1 Poland Firmware (COH4) weeks ago. A few minutes later I got an update via OTA. It's about 69.3MB and you can see the the details in attached screenshots.
I could not recognise any visual changes but i think it's mostly bug fixes and system improvements. I hope you all get it asap.
If I feel any changes I will post them here.

of course there isn't any news about new Touchwiz.
olmamasıda çok normal zaten. sadece 5.1.1'i almış olmak için alıyoruz. s6, s6edge, s6edge+ ve note5 varken bize sıra gelmez

I didn't have any problem with fingerprint lock or notification. everything was working fine with Poland COH4 firmware on my SM-N910CQ
in the other hand I didn't see anything more then first 5.1.1 rom.

I had a series of crashes and lag when locking the screen by fingerprint also with notification center
Which disapeared after this update

Yes you can . And odin is the best way
But to get everything working fine . Do the clean install. Wipe data and system before and after install via odin .

Now im using it about week good and stable. Its best rom till now but i missing my language lithuanian. I try before lineage os and still more bugs when opening browser web many ads and viruses showing. Tried adfree but not helped

Use the newest MiFlash Unlock tool (v1.1.1111.11231) from this thread.
Sometimes, you have to try several times in order to unlock your phone.
Oh, and I only can unlock my phone when I use the original cable that came with the phone, other cables shows me the 50% error.

You can read the source in the original thread on the Taiwan's MIUI forum. Me personally still runs LineageOS 14.1...

I'm also getting the "Could not verify package" error when trying to flash it via the Updater app. I cannot flash it via MiFlash because I cannot access EDL Mode and I do not have unlocked bootloader....
Getting the 50% "account is not the same" error while trying to unlock, because I'm at the Global Stable ROM...
I'm trying to install dev ROM to be able to unlock bootloader, however I can't seem to do that, since I cannot access EDL mode anymore.

Miui 8.2.23 - 8.2.24 it is weekly not stable..

I do not understand. I've never seen a global weekly ROM for Mi 5S. Is this official? I'm actually using MIUI.eu at latest build and I'm kinda unsatisfied with battery life, so I want to know how this misterious build behaves.
Besides, I'd like to know what should I exactly do to install this build, and how can I get access to future ones, cause there is not any link on MIUI official forum.

No anything big for me, just the fingerprint scanner wouldn't act as a home button sometimes (I had to long press it once, and then press it again to trigger the home button function, but not all the time).
Other peoples report different things tho, like not be able to boot, or the screen is buggy (IIRC, if you had the LG screen, not JDI), or the signal is unstable . But it's been great for me so far...

I have so many random reboots.
The screen becomes unresponsive after a reboot, and I have to force reboot again to get the touchscreen back!
Aside from that, the fingerprint scanner is a BIG hit or miss. Most of the time it doesn't respond at all. I am surprised that no one else is having these issues. Could be my device

That's because you have LG LCD variant as me. The usual variant are those with Jdi LCD

is it global or Chinese? I don't know Mi 5s's global dev Rom.

I've noticed two changes.
On 5.0.1 if I was using my chromecast the control buttons used to disappear from the notification bar after a few minutes. So I always had to reconnect with the app to the chromecast if I wanted to pause etc. That doesn't happen anymore.
And for the first time ever, my recovery got replaced when I flashed it. I downloaded the full rom through the oxygen updater app. I haven't flashed back to twrp just yet in case anything breaks. Anyone else had this too?

I still have the main bug that you bothers me. The Bluetooth connectivity issue.
When connected to my car's Bluetooth, it stutters, might not connect and if connected, end up being so slow.
Wonder if the same issue is present with OnePlus 5t.

Extract the ROM and edit updater script and remove lines before ui print and zip it and flash now.

Should be, since they're releasing open betas. Those should mature into something.

i updated using Oxygen Updater, im from Cuba so my updates will take longer i used that app and it was instant, u can find it on Google Play

Hey try to set up the functions for the button again. This helped me.

You could try the "Mi AI Button Remapper" magisk module by Serbinhio. I use it and haven't noticed any problems with 10.2.26.0. You can find it in "Xiaomi Mi 9 Themes, Apps, and Mods" here, can't link it

Thanks, but I didn't root the phone yet.. I know, shame on me but I don't have the time atm. If updates don't get better soon I will take a day off to get that done and restore all my **** ?

Try flashing the whole rom instead of just the OTA, that might solve problems without losing data.
- I couldn't flash or download the OTA due to root, flashing the whole rom in TWRP did upgrade.

Thank you, but I'd rather just live with that bug than getting stuck in a bootloop or sth with locked bootloader ? Are u sure flashing the whole rom wouldn't wipe my data though?
