volte on z3+(e6553)

Is there a way to have volte on z3+ by any means?IF so please tell me.

Hi Developers, voLTE enable on Xperia z3+ E6553, Outgoing calls works fine, but incoming calls not working
add this lines in Build prop and rebooted your device
ro.mtk_ims_support=1
ro.mtk_volte_support=1
persist.mtk.volte.enable=1
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
After reboot clear cache and clear data from this apps
1)org.codeaurora.ims.apk
2)phone service
And reboot again
Then go to Then settings>more>Internet settings>enable voLTE, After 2-3 secounds
Volte icon will be appear on The status bar

Nope, Volte supporting hardware is not there in Z3+, confirmed by Sony, without supporting hardware, no solution.

No it supported cat6 lte snapdragon 810 support
Do u know Xperia z2 and z3 already got custom Volte patch
Sony finished Xperia z series , Sony moved to latest new models Xperia x, xa, xz, l1, so they stopped updates, Then concentrate on new
models....
First Sony says no volte updates for Xperia z5 bcz of Hardware issue
But in march Xperia z5 got official volte update

I tryed on Nougat, I think it will works 100% on lollipop and mashmellow

Xperia z2 and z3 has snapdragon 800 32bit processor with cat4 it has custom volte patch, but z3+ has snapdragon 810 64bit processor with cat6 but no custom update
Xperia z3+ needs volte enabled ims.apk [org.codeaurora.ims]
This app controlling the volte networks
I think Xperia z5 ims.apk is support to enable volte on z3+
/System/vendor/app/ims/ims.apk
I already tested this modified ims apk patch flash it and reply me before flashing backup current ims.apk

Flashing error through TWRP and manual replacement of ims.apk is crashing and giving continuous error message

Oh sry, replace to normal ims apk

We the z3+ users dont have any dedicated developers. Thats why still z3+ have'nt the volte

Any information about volte?

Installation :
1. Download the ROM zip and push it to internal or external storage
2. Enter TWRP Recovery
3. Backup your current ROM in case something goes wrong
4. Do a Full Wipe (system, dalvik-cache, data, cache)
5. Install the ROM
6. Reboot to System
Note : First boot take 10-15 minutes, so don't interrupt it!

Thanks :highfive:. I don't prerooted the ROM in order to pass the SafetyNet check and I am not really a fan of rooting With which method did you try to root the ROM?

You're right, testet with SuperSU 2.82 and it didn't root the ROM. Maybe it works with an old version or with Magisk.

Idk if there are some people using this ROM but I uploaded a new build

Hi! With stock kernel WiFi don't work. When i tested Hades Kernel v2.5 and Kraken Kernel v4 then is ok. WiFi work.

Hi,
I've flashed the ROM on my Galaxy A3 2015.
All is OK, except for the WIFI !
Impossible to activate it (it was completely functional with the previous ROM).
Button goes ON and goes back automatically OFF one second later.
Is there a solution to fix this problem ?

I don't have any wifi issues at all, I think on some devices it's due kernel or modem. Wifi may work by flashing a different kernel like hadesKernel (by @corsicanu) or Kraken-R4 (by @Bulgaricus) as @czekon63 already mentioned it above.

Future development
Since this ROM running stable for daily use, I tried to add the screen mirroring feature. Well, it seems to be impossible to add this feature. No matter, I started a new project some days ago, it's a Grace UX port. This port is based on an A3 2017 firmware and running stable so far, except GPS. The system don't detect it's GNSS receiver.
Now my question to you, should I release this ROM with broken GPS? Of course, I'll try to fix it.

I'm on version 9.4.26 and magisk 19.0-54d1207f (i believe it's the last beta), and still magisk hide is not working, apps still detect the rooting of the phone...
Anyone else with the same issue?

it's not a root issue, it's just an unlocked bootloader. Google Pay works only with locked devices.

hi, had the same issue with some banking apps. go into settings from magisk manager and hit "Hide Magisk Manager". Hope this helps you
Edit: if edexposed is installed, disable the two modules in magisk manager

Mmmm in my previous mobile it was working perfectly and it was a mi 5s with unlocked bootloader so.. Don't think that's the problem.

I have a Mi Mix2s , stock rom, unlocked and rooted with Magisk.
GPay worked for month but since a week it doesnt.
I contacted Google and they told me, they discovered my unlocked BL and thats the reason why it doesnt work anymore

There is no camera fix for P (unless t is going to be 100% functional) I recommend that you upgrade to Q directly and the camera works

I don't take photos often,and i don't care much about quality,but i just need it work to scan barcodes.
