MIUI rom - Motorola Droid 4

Hellooooo.
I was recalling the days of MIUI4 when I had my Desire Z before this phone, and I loved that rom.
Is it possible to even port the new MIUI8 to the maserati/droid4 devices?

[Q] Xperia Z MIUI

Hi,
I've been trying to find any kind of port of MIUI to the Xperia Z and have come up with nothing.
I managed to port MIUI to my Xperia T, but ever since whenever I try and port, I never have logcat and can't get it to flash anymore. So, I'm stumped with porting it myself.
I'm curious as to if anyone more experienced than me has attempted to port MIUI, and if so, what was the experience like?
You can use MIUI launcher and Musix music player in the play store and change the lock screen as a replacement till the official miui rom come out.
so you can make a fake MIUI rom and customize in case you couldn't port it.
I'm waiting for a MIUI rom for my xperia Z too,

Xperia Z1- MIUI???

Hey Guys i have been tracking the development of Xperia Z1 for the past 3 months and there doesn't seem to be any MIUI based ROM around here...Does Xperia Z1 has any official developer or still anyone didn't get involved in MIUI Rom development?? I am willing to know this becoz i love the MIUI Roms... So, is there any chance of Xperia Z1 getting a MIUI roms soon??
Thanks for your reply in Advance.
that im not sure
miui devs are being quiet and unofficial ports (from devs known of) are also being quiet
i dont think Z1 will get much miui based roms

I had a look at miui for the Z-Ultra, to port at the moment (v5) you really need a stable 10.1? cm build to port with, and for theZU there's not one. Things might change when there is a 4.4 miui base to port

[HELP] Is it possible to port other OEM's Stock Rom to our MI3 ?

Just wanted to know, can we port other OEM like Sony Z series or Zenfone or Lenovo Stock ROM to our MI 3 ?
Previously I had Canvas HD A116 and I had a lot of options for Custom Rom other than CM and AOSP rom like Samsung note 3 rom, Lenovo and Sony Z Rom.
So developers, it would be great if the same can be ported to our MI 3.

Is it possible for me to manually port Miui 7 (LP) edition to the xperia Z1?

i have been waiting for miui 7 lollipop edition for the xperia z1 for the longest. now i dont know how to really build kernels be i can somewhat port roms.
i see that select xiaomi phones have a lollipop version of Miui v7 and i would love to get my hands on it. now i ask, is remotely possible to do this? i assume so but no one has taken the time to do it?
not to mention that our current miui v7 can work on stock kernel with a locked bootloader. now im not asking all that but i would like to get this project underway

Miui is proted using patchrom which currently supports only kitkat at the moment, someone suggested on one thread in the miui forum that lollipop might be skipped and patchrom for MM will be released, purely speculation of course but just like any OEM these guys are slow at releasing updates.

I don't think they will make a patch rom for mm. If they wanted to they would have been done so.
Also do I have to use patch ROM? I want to do it manually. Perhaps I'll port one thing at a time. Trial and error.
~xperia Z1~
Well I'm a little hard headed so out of boredom and free time I'll slowly port and read debug for errors and dependencies starting with the home launcher, then system settings etc

take a look at this, its been done. someone has miui v7.1 on a non miui phone.
theres a way i guess.

what if we ported that rom (or any rom in gereral) itself from that lenovo-a7000 to the xperia Z1?
