Hi
I bought a new P9 via amazon-in germany and now have a P9 from Poland...the Build nr. was wrong an the method with*#*#2846579#*#* says : Vendor Country : PL ..it had a Branding and some Apps from a PL provider....So i installed the full official Rom from Huawei Official Page via *#*#2846579#*#*
Problem now: Got the C900 Build and want to get official updates without loosing the warranty..and without using the oeminfo change×bootloader and srk tool
Is there an easy way to manually update or to get the OTA update to Android 7.0 nearly official? Maybe with HiCare?
the only way you have is to wait. or.. change your oeminfo, but if you don't want to do that - wait
So the only disadvantage is no OTA update....the firmware will be available later and i have to do that ?☺☺ good news thx!

No, this is not for the UL10 variant - latest is probably B398 for it.
For your model, use Huawei Firmware Finder to find & download.
Enter the correct model (GRA-UL10) & your phone's firmware region (Cxxx) in the app.
It's recommended to download & install the FULL version only (very large file) using the external sd/dload-dialler method.
Installed the firmware without any problems, however, it locked the bootloader my rooted B398. I will unlock the bootloader (or at least I hope so ) this weekend. For users who do not want to root their P8s it is a great firmware.
What's so great about it? I've flashed it but went back to B398 because I don't want a branded rom. And don't want a Vodafone app.
Also think that a non Branden rom will be updated sooner.

It is much snappier than B398, esp. if one uses the graphic card for 2D rendering (available in the options for programmers) like me. It is also less buggy than B398 (kowabunga! Notes work with flying colors!).
BTW, I reunlocked the bootloader and rooted my P8. It worked without any problem so I did in an a quarter or so. I upgraded Magisk from 12.0 to v.13.3 and Magisk Manager from 4.3.3 to 5.1.1. I am very surprised that the phone passes the SafetyNet check now, so the phone is both rooted and can use apps available for unrooted phones only like NFC payment app from my bank.

Which firmware i can use to update to nougat? And is this a problem for huawei otg farther updates?
C900 is the region that you end up on when a firmware update has failed, in my experience. You will need to follow the procedure given in the link below. I have tried this and it worked for me.

Hello everyone, I wanted to update my P8 Lite 2017 to Oreo version, but i can not get update and i found out that my build number is NRD90M test keys, so i guess that is the problem. Does anyone know how can I remove it, or install original stock firmware and then update it?

Go ahead and download Huawei Firmware Finder from the Play Store.
You will get your way around it,but find the firmware which is approved for install.
I would recommend finding 8.0.0.369,because I believe that update still allows Magisk and custom ROMs to work, but not sure.
But if you want the latest, find 8.0.0.377,has August security patches.
And then you can try updating by VPN method included in the app.

without unlocked boadloader i think its imposible to flash any version manually. You need to wait for ota according your model and country.
The update is already there.
You just need to login/register into Huawei ID and install the official Beta App:
consumer.huawei.com/de/support/fut/
Start the App, login and select the update.
Switch back to software upgrade app, your phone will update to 9.1 ASAP
