I've tried all the settings and resolution. I find 640 X 480 to be the clearest. Still pictures are clear. Anything moving in the picture is a blurry mess. Is there a registry hack that improves clearity?

this is coming from a photographer. Blurry objects are caused by moving objects in a low light environment. When trying to capture light in a room with poor lightning the camera shutter will stay open longer to capture enough lights for the exposure. This can be corrected by bumping up the ISO or apenture. Since this cannot be done by the camera on the Fuze you can always turn Flash on to compensate for the low light or resting your elbows on a desk for more steady position

I'm coming from devices like the Sanyo M1 (2MP Auto Focus, the best camera phone ever on Sprint), Mogul (2MP decent pictures) and Treo 800 (2MP, really nice pics). All I'm asking is for the blurry pics to be better. I took 20 pics yesterday and 18 of them were blurry. I've tried every resolution setting. Like I mentioned earlier it seems L 640 X 480 pictures seem to be better than the higher settings.
Buy SonyEricsson and you get a camera that can be actually used for something...
Mine takes pretty good pictures, do you hold the capture button to allow the auto focus to do its work and then take teh picture without having much movement. The movement is what i found causes the blurriness. I guess it autofocuses on a spot and then when you move it start refocusing but the picture takes anyway?
BTW my sports and burst mode arent working properly, camera freezes up and have to soft reset. Is the 3mp tweak for these modes to much for the CPU to process
Yes, I hold and press which autofocus then snaps. I understand it something in the picture is moving but every pic? That's not normal. I've been taking pictures with phones for years and never ran into an issue like this. Plus this is suppose to be a really advanced 3.2MP camera. Might have taken a step backwards with this one.
One thing I do is turn the brightness down as far as the camera will let me, this really isn't a brightness control but a shutter speed control, lowering the brightness raises the shutter speed, which allows for faster camera response.
I think the problem is probably mostly that the sensor used in our module has an imaging area of 3.61mm*2.72mm, 4.52mm diagonal.. take a look at the chart here for imaging sensor sizes: http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/Glossary/Camera_System/sensor_sizes_01.htm
Notice how the size of our sensor is below the bottom of the chart.. It's often said that a camera with superior MPixel count will lose to a camera with an inferior MPixel count and a superior sensor.. well, our sensor isn't big enough to be able to take really nice 3.2mpix photos.. without ideal conditions. Then there's that whole thing about using a CMOS sensor rather than a CCD sensor..
One thing I think the camera can do better is that it doesn't seem to be operating in progressive-scan mode.. there's noticable tearing all over the place..

You can remove the back cover of your phone and take a picture... it does make it better.

I think that is somewhat incorrect. For TYNT II and older phones, yes that would work, since it has a plastic cover over the camera. But for the touch pro and the diamond, it should make little to no difference. I've tried it, and I don't see much of a difference, since it's just a hole. Not covered with plastic or anything.
I had the blurry photos problem too. I just tried it and I haven't played with it enough to confirm this fixes the problem (it seems like it reduces the problem but doesn't eliminate it) but try this:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Captparam/
and set
CaptureTimer = 0 (old=5000)
tell me if you see a difference
Two more things to do - go into the camera advanced settings (in the camera itself) and turn off the click sounds and set the review time to no limit. With those two and the change above I think I have a working camera here...
have you done the "white balance" tweak in your settings? it completely gets rid of that yellow look when you take pics indoors. Also theres rumors saying that turning off the shutter sound increases the camera's quality but I cant prove that

I think what most people are looking for with regards to photos is not 100% 9mp quality from our phones. I mean, why can't a fix similar to the Tilt's be made?* All I want is a higher FPS in low light conditions.
*Where you can increase FPS (in low light) by running the camera, turning the phone off, covering the lens, then turning the phone back on...

I tried those tweaks with no success. Pics aren't as blurry but they are pretty crappy. I'm not saying I want 10MP clearity. I just want this camera to be compariable to the devices I previously owned (Sanyo M1 and Treo 800). Right now it's not. I'm going to exchange this device.
Errrr Sorry I stated the wrong registry key. Actually that one does not matter too much. UPDATED version:
1. Change registry key:
- HKLM\software\htc\camera\captparam\Capkeydelaytime = 10
2. Soft reset to activate the hack.
3. Set the capture key of the camera to hold & press.
To make a photo:
- Aim at subject.
- Hold your finger on the round big enter key and wait until the white "[" "]" go green. This might need a slight "touch".
- Shoot by pressing the round big enter key fully.
The problem you're going to run into is the size of the sensor on cell phones in general. You could have a 10mp cameraphone but if they keep the sensor the same size it is now the pix will continue to be crappy.
I will say that the pictures I've taken with my Fuze have been pretty good, and I have really bad shakes in my hands. The autofocus is a huge step forward imo.
Hello guys. I am new with my milestone here and I have an important question if you have some ideas about it. However my previous phone (google G1) had 3.2 mp camera built in, its photos were quite better than my milestone which has 5 MP with flash light! I am very disapointed with its camera performance. Is this something about software and development or something about its camera lens?
Its photos are full of gren and noise in it and deffintly doesnt seem to be a 5 mpx.

It has nothing to do with battery because photos are bad even in full daylight! I hope this is something about firmware and can be fixed with some new software , Unless i will sell this phone.
I have also not'ced that camera flash light of this phone is not working proper when battery goes lower than 30-40 and its a shame when its night time your battery has to be higher than 50 if you want to use flash light.. But there is something weird with this because of this flash light brightes and shines so strong even battery goes low when you half press shutter button for the auto focus. then when you press for taking the photo then it wont flashes up like before. REALLY WEIRD.. I am gonna sell this odd phone. Unless those stupid mistakes wont be fixed by 2.2 upgrade. hopefully soon..
Can I ask to poeple who upgraded their droid to 2.2 is there any difference at camera performance on your droid after update ??
To be honest there is not a difference in camera performance. That all varies between the lighting and zoom level of the camera. I have noticed the grain side of the photos, however I have had some great clear photos taken with the phone as well. The video quality IMO is superb for the phone. Even before the 2.2 update I did, the pictures turned out great despite some showing a little bit of grain.
The megapixel number means nothing, and actually for a given physical sensor size (IE the ones that fit in phones) a higher MP number will mean ****tier pictures.
The performance is just how it's going to be.

well I tried to take the same photos with both stock camera program and camera 360 program, and my results were not far different from eachother but 360 photos were a bit better. Camera 360 photos were about 3-4 MB, but droids itself photos were 1 MB. I can say the MB difference didnt reflect the picture quality. they were almost same quality. so no need to use 3 times more space for ordinary photos.
I changed my camera application.
I now use the app: Pro Zoom Camera 5X
And that worked for me.
It takes better pictures.
Dont know all the reasons.
But 1 major reason for me is,
With the original, you half press the camera key to focus, then full press to take the picture.
This creates movement when taking the picture.
With the app i'm using,
you press full ones, it then focuses and takes the picture.
but you can also use the volume button, which is an easier key to press full.
or you can just tap the screen.
For me it made a huge difference.
Though,.. still not as good as we want it to be

I am not sure if the only problem was half shutter vibration on the photo problem. it seems more than that. To me It can be fixed with some software improvments but im not sure how much can it be good with new software.. Does anyone know which brand or what kind of lenses does motorola uses for milestone?

Hey, i just bought the Z3 Compact The phone itself is very good, EXCEPT The camera! 20 mpx of what? The camera is so blurry and noisy. And you can see the pixels easy. This is so TERRIBLE i have to ask if there is anything wrong with it? I have had Android since it came out. This results are worse than what my HTC Magic did. A phone from 2008-09. I have tried different settings, no luck. Been like this from day one. So is there something wrong, or is this suppose to be the 20mpx camera? ...
Some examples, first pic is taken in daylight. You can see at the second is in darkness (Very noisy!) Front camera is even worse!!

My recommendation is don't use superior auto. Launch your camera from a shortcut and set it to manual and from that moment on it will always launch in manual mode, but not when you launch it with shutter key.
Once in manual mode, try my settings:
Exposure: one or two bars below value of 0
WB: auto
Resolution: 15,5 mpx
Focus mode: multiple autofocus (i think that's what it's called in english)
ISO: This is the most important setting. You can set it to 100 or even 50 to avoid noise and artifacts caused by heavy postprocessing by software. But, the lower the iso, darker the image will be. So on a sunny day it can be 50 od 100, On a cloudy day, a bit higher and in night photos 800.
Metering: multiple
Focusing: When you want to take photo, put object you want to take photo of in the middle and half press shutter button. When squares turn blue on places you want focused, keep shutter half pressed and you can then move your phone to left, right, up or down and not losing focus. That way you make your composition. When you think you have your scene set up, finally press the button all the way.
Once you set it up every time you launch camera by a shortcut it will launch in manual mode with settings remembered from last time you used camera so no need to fiddle with settings every time. Camera widget is very useful.
Avoid superior auto unless you're in complete darkness because in that case heavy postprocessing and very high iso that it always uses have to be made.
Superior auto uses very high iso values when not needed. High iso causes much noise on the photos, and sony software removes that noise and does it in a not so good way. That results in artifacts and 'flat' photos.
It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. I have SLR camera experience so it's natural to me. Once you practice half pressing, composition making and then taking photo people will wonder how can you make such photos. It's knowledge that you'll be able to use always in all cameras, phones and whatever.
I hope this helps and let me know if it does. I'm thinking about writing a camera tutorial with samples because not many people use the potential of it.

Also i think that if you can't choose auto and take decent photo when you are in a hurry it's actually a struggle. If you always have to set your ISO etc. Then i would rather bring my DSLR with me instead! Here are some examples from my previous phone. The S3. I set HDR on. Nothing more! Nice and easy.
I'm not saying this shots is amazing, but i just found it to be better overall than the Compact. This also have 12mpx less! Newer Samsungs have a pretty decent camera! So my questions is now, what other phone would you guys recommend? I was quite happy with my Samsung til it got slow and the battery drained out easily. I'm also happy with Sony, apart from the camera.

Have you tried to use Google Camera? I think these crappy denoising algorithms won't be used in it. It lacks advanced options but if you just want to make nice photos with 'auto' i think it might be good enough.
Manual mode, much better photos than superior auto.

Well, it's true that auto mode is not good. I had an Xperia P before this one and never had any issues with the camera. It had 8 mpx of amazing quality camera on the daylight at least.
But as I said, once you set your manual mode, you almost never have to fiddle around with it. At least I don't. I set iso to 100 and when it's daylight i start camera by shortcut, and on night time i start it by shutter key.
Anyway, I keep my fingers crossed that lollipop will fix all that, because it's software issue only if you ask me.

Tried today with your settings. Works better, so thanks! Still very blurry, but not as bad like it was. Why haven't anyone mentioned something about the camera before? Since allot of you are experiencing it? Hope Sony will release an update soon because this isn't OK at all! The colors and details are pretty decent. It just becomes blurry and not sharp enough. and why can't we turn on HDR?
Everybody has mentioned it. It's the third most talked about thing with this phone after root and battery.
Apart from the low light algorithms the camera is pretty ****.
Like the others I hope L will fix it. Until then i just use camera fv5. It even uses the hardware button so it's cool. And much better pics
HDR only works in 8MPx mode. Can't turn in on in 15.5/20MPx mode. And it's not THAT great actually. Wise exposure helps more than the HDR.
Also, you could maybe try the Camera FV-5, which has a ton of settings and also RAW capturing abilities, if you'd like to postprocess the images on your own. But I doubt anyone is doing this and taking it somehow seriously.
You have to play around a lot with the camera, bringing down exposure as suggested is a great start. I left the size at 8MPx, and also played around with some scenes (useful in the night) or lowlight, you sacrify motion blur from long exposure time for more noise, but that's how it works in photography.
The camera is not bad, you just need to be patient with it, if you'd like to quickly snap perfect shots, this may not be the perfect device, however, if you use the camera wisely, it can deliver stunning photos for large prints.

The pictures you posted before from the S3 really aren't better then the Z3C. Why no mentioned anything about the camera before? I'd relay the question back at you, why haven't you looked up the forum, because there are really PLENTY of topics regarding the camera. So the only thing I can conclude is that you didn't even check the forum. Even the blurry pictures have been mentioned before. Like someone above mentioned, try Camera FV-5 or any other ap. I use Camera FV-5 myself and I'm really happy with it, even with an unlocked BL. Check out the topic I created (in my signature) and you'll find plenty of pictures from the phone. It can really make some great pictures, but as you said before when you don't have a lot of time to make a picture, to change settings it can really be a bich to work with.

Ok, i actually just want something nice and easy. When i take pictures with my phone i don't want to try a bunch of settings for the camera to take a decent shot. and doing this in sunlight for example when you can't see the screen at all? Instead of just pressing the camera button..Actually the superior Auto is so bad i can't even describe it. I got some OK settings now, but far from good. Of course if you play around with the settings any camera can be good, the thing that you have to do that tells me it's rubbish! Then what's the point? I could rather bring my DSLR. I would be able to take better pictures, without a hassle. For me a good camera is very important, that's one of the reason i brought it. And can you really defend a 20mpx camera from 2014 that can't even take a clear shot on a sunny day with perfect light in Auto mode?

I have actually seen your photos, i did go through allot of camera samples before i brought it. Little did i know that the camera was useless in auto mode. I know the shots with my Samsung isn't that good but still, this is shot in Auto mode. The first picture has HDR but nothing more. If you compare that to what i did with my Sony it's WAY better. Because as i said, if i want to take some amazing shots i will use my DSLR instead. And when i'm not having it on me i want a decent photo, but i just can't get that with the Compact.
And the S3 has 8mpx, the Compact got 20.
I changed the settings on my Compact, still blurry and un-sharp.

Sorry to say, but you've most obviously been too lazy to use the search function and you have even ignored the automatic search results while writing the title of this thread. Having said that, in the beginning you wrote about picture noise and that they come out blurred. Ok, but now you claim they're even unsharp. Sorry, that's definitely not a problem of the phone, at least you'd have the first sample with such an issue...

Definitely depends what you are photographing. At 20MP I've taken some impressive photos, for sure, but under closer scrutiny on a large monitor they don't look quite as good, and they fall apart almost instantly when post-processed. Sony's sharpening algorithms are far too aggressive so any high-contrast edges look almost posterized. Other aspects of jpeg processing also leave a lot to be desired, even at low ISO. In other words, Sony took a decent sensor and only lets us get mediocre results.
And, yes, auto mode is an absolute joke. I estimate about one in ten photos I've taken in auto are useable (many of them only after slapping on Instagram filters). I just wish I could start in manual using the shutter button. Still, I'm not expecting output from a camera phone to come anywhere close to a good compact camera let alone a DSLR, so in that sense I'm a little less miffed. But reliable auto mode is essential IMO since that's always gonna be the most used mode for quick Facebook/Twitter/Instagram update snaps, which is how 99% of people use camera phones. Epic fail from Sony on that count.

This. A million times this. How on earth did initial reviewers rave about the camera? My experience of its performance closely mirrors your own. Only a small percentage of all photos come out looking ok, even though I've messed around with wb, iso settings etc.
Same here, got my z3c yesterday and I am quite disappointed with camery quality. Images become really blurry, especially on a front facing camera. It is clear to me, that it's a software issue, because when I look at the screenm picture looks OK. But when the photo is shot, it becames blurry after pocessing. I used to have iPhone 5s before and it did amazing photos compared to sony's device.
And I also agree with an opinion that most people don't want to mess with camera settings on a mobile phone. We just want to quickly take a decent photo in an auto mode...
Hi, I am a long time Samsung Galaxy user, my last phone was the Galaxy S8+ i have just come to upgrade and thought I’d try the Huawei P30 Pro and seems it uses android as well, i thought it can't be much different. i have 14 days return and I’m really not sure if i am going to keep it or ask can i swap for an S10+
I don't know if i am just being biased because I’ve had Samsung for so long but i just hope someone here can persuade me keeping the P30 won't be too bad and that some of my issues are fixable.
I don't seem to be getting some notifications, mainly games, i seem to get texts but not always others, although if i turn my s8+ on, they still seem to be coming through on there. I have checked most settings i can find but can't see anything obvious, i have added the games to the app assistant.
I didn't know that this Huawei phone didn't have a notification LED, i guess it’s only a small thing but it's amazing how much you miss that flashing light, are there any ways to get any other screen notifications in some way?
The phone doesn't retain the Auto brightness setting when i restart the phone, I’m a bit confused by this as it would seem that Huawei may have this as a feature rather than a bug, I’ve read online that this is how these phones are set but surely you would want the setting to be retained how you leave it? is this a bug or here to stay? i keep turning auto off but every time i restart its back on!
The vibrate is extremely shallow to the point i hardly even feel it.
The optical zoom doesn't function if in 40mp resolution? what’s that all about, i tried it earlier and it says on it that it only works in 10mp resolution? the res you are in shouldn't stop the optics from moving should it? Also when set to 10mp and you can zoom, the zooming isn’t smooth in any way at all, it looks extremely jerky.

About the "zoom", it's not an actual zoom and you are misunderstanding how it works. Having a look at the backside of the phone would explain some to you but i'll give it a go..
You got three lenses which equals three fixed focal lengths. This means you are simply jumping from one camera to the other when you perform a "zoom", which explains the jerkiness. It's expected behavior and is supposed to work like that since there is no gradual zoom with moving lense elements.
Each of these cameras have their own sensor which works at specific megapixels, there is no 40mpix sensor in all these three camera modules on the back of the device. The 5x tele lens has a 8mpix sensor. The ultrawide angle 16mm sensor is 20mpix and the main sensor is 40mpix which normally operates at 10mpix due to pixel binning.
The auto brightness is a long standing bug on Huawei devices, it's annoying and stupid i agree but it's there.

Samsung has gone a step further on improving there software. Its really fluid and very user friendly. Huawei should focus on that aspect on there flagship.

One little thing I miss from my Galaxy S8+ was the coloured app notification icons on the Always On Display.
Was good for seeing where my notifications were from at-a-glance (blue for Messenger, red for YouTube, green for WhatsApp etc.).
Not having any of those problems with mine. In fact I'm ditching my Galaxy S10+ and keeping the P30 Pro. The fingerprint scanner on the Huawei is faster and more reliable than the one on the Samsung, the camera setup is far more versatile, battery life is better and I immediately stick Nova launcher on anyway so I don't have to put up with EMUI or One UI.

Nova is just the launcher. The system UI controls far more aspects than just the launcher. EMUI/One UI is everywhere.

1. It's not Samsung
2. I had the S10... this camera is superior in every way except maybe video... (I don't shoot video in 4K for my purposes so it doesn't bother me)
3. Above camera superiority overall, the 5x & 10x zooms brings a whole new world of shooting pictures. I can truly leave a big camera / big lens at home now.
4. More true-tone pictures... people hate to admit this... but the real world is not over-saturated... Apple, Samsung, etc. stop promoting this as the normal for picture taking....
5. Features yet to be turned on but soon in updates... dual video record (maybe), TOF Sensor utilization (next update), etc.
Honestly though, I'm not a complete Samsung hater. I just hate the way Samsung does business... how can they release their "flagship" S10+ then months later add features to the 5G phone they definitely should have been included with the original... like the additional lenses... Am I considering the Samsung S10 5G. Sure I am... Will I maybe wait for the Mate 30 Pro... more than likely. Huawei, for all the talk about what they steal, they also keep trying to innovate... unlike Apple and to some extent Samsung.
At the end of the day, reserve your judgement until you get to use the camera on the phone when you need a zoom... like at a zoo, concert, etc. where you can't be right against the action... take a few pictures then compare to maybe your friends pictures... you'll then realize what the hype is over... :good:

I appreciate your point but unless you're an obsessive settings tweaker (which I'm not - once my phone is set to my liking I leave it alone) EMUI/One UI fades in to the background.

That's the thing; it doesn't just disappear.
I use Nova Launcher too but here are some EMUI annoyances (for me):
Not being able to open the tray from the lock screen
No quick launch shortcut to launch the camera from anywhere (such as double-pressing the power button)
The Phone app taking over any active app (annoying when navigating with Google Maps)

Fair points. You can launch the camera by double pressing volume down though. Haven't come across the phone/Map problem yet.
How can you not the love when you get shots like this

I know. But if you've already got the phone unlocked I've never found shortcuts to the camera to be of much use. As they say, YMMV.

The google maps issue is just a settings tweak with app draw over preferences.
the choices made by Huawei are logical ones... for Instance:
1. Tray not being able to open from lockscreen - this is annoying but the logical Hauwei take on this is that it doesn't allow someone to mess with the phone settings until security is verified... I'll give you the iPhone as an example. I can get into the app drawer from the lockscreen without anything being verified security wise meaning I can harmlessly turn on someone's flashlight if I wanted to as a prank (to let the battery drain faster) all the way up to maliciously turning off all connectivity of the phone... meaning calls, emails, etc. can't get to the phone... can you see the issues this may cause? personally the annoyance is small to my piece of mind that no one can screw with anything on my phone.
2. My theme has quick launch on lockscreen for camera... or press volume down twice so its in there you just can't readily tweak it
I have read online about the setting for app power consumption and to switch manage automatically off so that the phone wont keep alls from receiving notifications and let them run in the background. will have to try it and see.

Funny enough, I also upgraded from an S8+. There are definitely minor bugs, but nothing deal-breaking for me. As for notifications lagging behind, it's a known Huawei bug. You need to turn off auto-app management for the apps you want to get notifications pushed.

I had every Galaxy S and Note phones that were ever released, every one. Last year, I was interested in the P20 P30, ditched my S9 for my first Huawei phone ever, and I loved every bit of it. Then I skipped on pre-ordering the Note 9, something I have never done before, I waited because I wanted to get the Mate 20 Pro, but that was a bad experience for me and my wife, as we had 6 units replaced in total due to glue gate. After returning it, I went back to Samsung, got the Note 9, and I was then reminded how bad Samsung's cameras have gone when compared to the latest from Huawei, Google, and Apple. Still, I believed that Samsung will definitely deliver with the S10, and the moment it was announced, I pulled the plug and ordered two S10 Plus for myself and my wife. Just 3 weeks were enough for me to get sick of it's subpar low light photography, especially indoors and mainly if you're taking pictures of kids, as Samsung cameras struggle with moving objects. My wife doesn't care that much about cameras, but I do, so I ditched it for the P30 Pro and I couldn't be any happier with it in my pocket.
The camera is much better than the one on the S10, especially if we are talking about the exynos version, which was the case for me. Videos might not be up to Samsung and Apple's standards, but at 1080 it is close, and even better in low light situations and indoors as well. Battery life is much better, the UI while isn't the prettiest, it feels a bit more zippy than the S10, which isn't a slouch either.
Now fixes for your problems.
For notifications, go to battery settings, and select the apps you don't want the phone to put in sleep, you won't be missing your notifications after that.
Notifications led is also missing on the S10, so on both phones you'll have to rely on AOD, which for some reason, doesn't affect your battery life on the P30 Pro as much as it did for me on the S10.
Fps while it was improved after the latest update, and I can confirm that it got significantly better, it's still no match in terms of accuracy and speed to the one on the P30 Pro.
Accidental touches are a nightmare on the S10 Plus, the curve is smaller, but it sits much closer to your palm. An issue that I don't face on the P30 Pro.
From my 6 months experience with the P20 Pro, the camera on the P30 Pro will improve by at least 20%, with every update, Huawei makes sure they keep on improving their image processing. While on Samsung, and I am sure you know that, Samsung only irons out the camera issues that comes with the software that the phone was released with, so after a month or so, forget about Samsung working on improving your pictures.
Pardon me for the long ass essay, but from my experience with Samsung phones, and the S10 in particular, I would advise you to hold on to your phone. Their is a learning curve for their UI, but once you get it, you'll love your phone.

I also use Nova Launcher - Since Galaxy S6 - and haven't looked back!
I'm very surprised (and very pleased) to hear that the finger print scanner on the P30 works faster AND more reliable than the one on S10+ - can you please elaborate more?
I noticed that mine works very well, actually extremely well. Always wondered what the ultrasonic reader must be like if the claim of being more accurate is true!!???
Would really appreciate any tips that anyone has utilised to improve the camera settings (as its the one thing bugging me on an otherwise brilliant phone).
I was trying to add something to an Instagram story earlier via the camera on Instagram and everytime I took the picture, the actual shot would move slightly each time and cause the picture to blur (despite repeated attempts and me holding the camera dead still). It was like the camera was being nudged each time I pressed to take a picture. I used the stock camera (default settings) at the weekend and found the experience to be quite mediocre. A few came out quite well but generally they seemed to be a bit blurry or appear as though my dog was moving (when he was actually just sitting still).
I have a few Youtube vids saved to watch from. Another thread that have tips on how to get the best out of Photo Pro so will check those out later when I have time. I'm not a camera expert and Photo Pro seemed a bit overwhelming with all the options but happy to give it a go.
From what I have seen and read it seems the phone is exceptional in the pro app with lots of adjustment if required however the auto mode is a just ok.
It's a shame as clearly the potential is there and many people still want a great camera they can open up and shoot a decent picture without all the messing about.
Just don't know why they haven't improved this. There are lots of fans who like other aspects of a Sony phone but just don't want the messing about with the camera. It's a 'nice to have option' but I also want decent reliable results straight off the bat.
