Everytime i hold down the home button for recent apps 'com.android.systemui has stopped' keeps coming up.Any help is appreciated
Unistall updates for google app. Not play store or services
May or may not be the issue but try another battery.
I had a friend who's note 4 did the same thing. We swapped out the battery and everything worked fine.

Hey all,
I have been using Android Assistant to block auto-starts and clean up memory where possible. I had also installed Launcher Pro and Home Smack. I did not remove the Dell Launcher.
For a while now, I have been annoyed by a ten second or more lag when redrawing/refreshing the home screen. Sometimes the home screen(s) would not refresh at all, unless I held the Home button and released it after recent apps appeared.
I figured this was caused by Android Assistant constantly causing restarts for T-Mobile (or other OEM) apps, and decided to uninstall AA. That way, I could gauge the difference in performance.
When I restarted my S7 I would CONSTANTLY get a stopped process error, which hung any sync and kept me from doing almost anything. The process was "android.acore..." something. Unfortunately, I did not write it down.
I reset the S7 and have not reinstalled AA or any 3rd party launchers since. Everything seems fine, but have only been using the S7 for a few hours. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Guys I love the Note..and One of the things that I absolutely love is the sNote. But it is constantly crashing. I am suspecting that it crashes when It tries to autosave. Are you guys running to the same issue?
Any Ideas? I am rooted.

I don't unserstand what you have done ? unfreezing ? what does that mean ?
I have the same problem. When a listen music in bluetooth and use S note, it s a disaster, until hot battery and reboot !
com.samsung.android.strokesearch consume my battery very quickly.
This has been a current issue since I got my s6 for the 5th time lol. I would download a app and it wold the forever to start downloading, it's not slow download speeds because once it starts it takes seconds to download.
I cleared the play store cache already and even restarted the phone and same issue and I hate buying apps because about time the app actually downloads I can't get a refund if I don't like it.

I've been having this issue as well. I just stop the update then restart it and it usually works OK the second time (although still slow). It hasn't always been like that so I'm guessing it may have something to do with a recent Play Services or Play Store app update.
I realized the issue was that my apps was attempting to update and once I stopped them from updating everything was fine

I had the same issue yesterday when downloading a new app. I simply canceled the install and cleared the cache of the play store, and then I was running at normal speed again.
OK I'll try to make this short and to the point. I had returned my previous N6 because of spilt screen freezing issues. This replacement I have came with build 47M on it. I booted it up and immediately got a couple popups of Google play store and Google service force closes. Not worried about it cause I was going to use NRT to unlock, root, and flash a rom. That was a mistake cause then it was a continuous flow of random force closes of anything I tried using (messenger, chrome, Google services, and etc). Redownloading and reflashing to no avail so want a rom issue like I thought. Used NRT to flash stock, unroot, and relock back to 47M and OTA up to 28E. Still getting force closes of Google services and play store and even constant closes of the play store without the force close gump (it just disappears). So my question is wtf is going on? The N6 I had screen issues with didn't have any force close issues. I'm at a loss and beginning to think that my replacement needs a replacement. Anyone know how to help? I would love to root again or even enjoy this beautiful phone without crazy force closes..... Thanks in advance guys/gals!
Edit: Now just seconds after posting this I went to download some previous installed apps from the play store then I got riddled with a constant gapps force close and the phone rebooted itself. Now I am waiting for andriod to start apps like it would if you upgraded the OS.......

Return it as defective.
I've just noticed that the Back key/button does not work when I'm in the Google Play App.
I'm forced to use the arrow in the upper left corner since my Note 5 Back button is not working...
So far I've only noticed it not working within Google Play...
Just curious if this is normal? Or if something is going on with my phone...
(I never noticed this before because I normally go to the app store on the computer and install the apps on all my devices from there, but I happen to be out looking for a new app someone recommended and noticed the Back Key issue)
I've had this happen using Gmail.. I end up having to use the arrow in the upper left to return to the previous screen. Doesn't happen every time I use Gmail, but maybe 50% of the time. Usually, I have to kill the app totally, and restart Gmail and it's ok. No other app acts like this... I haven't used Google pay, so wouldn't know about that.

When i used my Note 8.0 tab( just afterwards )i found it to do the same( Back button etc ,had to use the top arrow .) Its working ok now .
i suspect its some bug with Play store ... or some bug between Play and Note5
good luck

It seems to be constant for me, I killed the app, rebooted the phone, still won't let me use the back key/button...
Its rather frustrating as the back arrow in the upper left corner is really far away from my thumb.
Same thing here. N920CD. It happens occasionally.

I'm experiencing it while in the Gmail app on my S6 Edge Plus (SM-G928V), dad has the Note 5, and has seen it too. Haven't noticed it in Play store, yet. However, not as often as 50%, more like 5%, but it's still happening after a couple weeks. Maybe it's a Samsung button issue??.. maybe not...since it's only Google Apps mostly?
i thought my phone was faulty until i read this thread..
yes.. same with my note 5 since day 1 .. happens intermittently for gmail app.. hopefully samsung will fix it in an update.
is this issue even on custom roms ??
Nope... The back button always works fine for me on the Play Store app and Gmail. 100% Stock except using Nova launcher.
