I would like to start this thread to know the Availability of Mate S in USA and to know the LTE compatibility with US Networks.

I was just given this as a gift. I have AT&T, but it is sim locked to China Telecom. It says 4G is locked by China Telecom. Phone calls, text, and EDGE (2G) work for me with my AT&T sim. If I were to sim unlock it, will LTE then work for me? It is the CRR-UL00 version.
Also curious about rooting and installing google play services. Any advice?

Does anyone know where to purchase one of these in the states? Been looking all over the place with no luck.

Yeah I hear ya! I was looking for something "different " than the typical American phones and found this. Then I saw the price and was like nope. But may I suggest the mate 7. Yeah it's a year old, but still a killer phone. I'm ordering it next week

Yeah the Mate 7 is a killer phone and I have been contemplating it. Let me know how you like it and I'll really consider it. I just want something better than my Note 4.

Alliexpress I use the app and found it. Idk if I'd trust the alliexpress. Never dealt with them before, but all the correct bandwidths r there for American use

Single IMEI

Hello
anybody knows why my oneplus 3t 128 A3003 has single IMEI? I have another oneplus 3t 64 A3003 which have two IMEIs.
Does it have any differences?
BTW, Both of them from UK.

My UK 128GB 3T has only one Imei too. Not sure why

It looks like units from O2 have a single IMEI. I've got them investigating it at the moment. They gave me two replacements before telling me that all their stock was the same!!

I got it from O2. Is it possible to use 2 Sims using the same Imei? I have tried using a 2 Sims yet

I tried with both H3G and both working
I really don't understand what is the point of having on or two imeis.

Determining the region/variant from the IMEI number

Is there any way to tell from the IMEI number whether the 3T is the US/EU/chinese variant? I'm returning a 3T that i bought off of ebay that turned out to be the chinese variant, which was why i was only getting EDGE speed on tmobile, no matter what I did.

It's possible on Samsung phones like it's described here

Unfortunately the part where Samsung encoded this regional code is a part determined by the manufacturer, as described here: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...rtphone-country-of-origin-from-imei-code.html if oneplus does encode it in the imei I cannot tell for sure, however you can tell that all A3010 variants of the 3T are for the Chinese market and all A3003 variants are the global version (for the rest of the world), so actually you don't have to bother with decrypting the IMEI, just check the model number in settings, about phone...

I bought a P30 pro, 256GB with a Huawei Watch GT (a "gift") , at 3.dk in Denmark for DKK 5.160 i.e. ~ $ 775 + ~$7 a month more than I used to pay for the network. It is to be delivered next week.
I know nothing about the version no., but hope it is European 432. Dual-sim should be included.
I have been quite happy with my P20 pro, but unhappy with slow very slow updates. But after a year of updates the camera i absolutely faboulous now, which it was not to begin with.
According to our DXO friends in France the P30 pro is the absolutely best on photografing, so I am looking forward to see if they are right there

So Amazon UK has it for pre-order with delivery by April 6... was able to place an order here in the USA... Funny enough, Amazon France has it as well but won't... I'll see if they scrap my pre-order but in my recent experience with the Xiaomi Mi 9, if the order is in, it charges ok and then its golden... fingers cross. Should get it before April 9th!!!!

It should go through. I ordered the Huawei super car charger from there and it said couldn't be delivered to the US. I got it a few days later. Already placed my order for the P30 pro from Amazon UK.

Mine in black arrived today and it is nice. Was able to get a 256GB / 8GB setup from an overseas contact for a little of a shipping premium. It's awesome. Worth getting however you can:good:

Just about all new phones but my daily recently was Mate 20 Pro. I can say without a doubt this is better and better then S10 and Xiaomi Mi 9 and Google Pixel 3 XL and Nokia 9

TMobile of course but yes no wifi calling since its not a phone available in the US even though I heard TMobile overseas has it as an offering. I haven't dig into that aspect to see if I can. I do know that you can always do the the Google voice workaround but really isn't a factor for me currently :angel:

I purchased mine from TechnoLec U.K. and got the unlocked Global / U.K. version for use in the USA. I did not get the best deal, but I didn't want to mess with some of the other people on eBay that seemed a little sketchy. These guys are authorized and they had 100% ratings. Hopefully it works out.

Can you confirm the phone has VOLTE on TMO US?
Place a call with wifi off and see if it still says 4g LTE.
Or download Network Cell Info Lite from playstore and go to the Device + Sim and see if VoLTE capable says "Yes".
Screen shot would be highly appreciated.

VoLTE confirmed. Wifi Calling of course is not supported with Huawei and TMO USA

I believe one is International (VOG-L29) and the other is U.K. (VOG-L09). The bands are the same. Th VOG-L29 is "hybrid dual SIM"

I ordered the unlocked 8/256 Nebula blue. But I'm guessing there all unlocked LOL

Can't order it yet in the UK, none of the usual suspects listing it on their sites yet. Not even EE who are supposedly their initial partner for the 5g variant.
EE suck ass anyway, can't believe OnePlus partnered with them. Their site hasn't worked properly for the last week and they are sister companies with BT and PlusNet, both of whom consistently have among the worst customer satisfaction ratings.
Don't take my word for it though.

yes i know the pro and the normal would have different model numbers
im asking if the 7 Pro would have different model numbers amongst itself (i.e the oneplus 6 had a6000 and a6003)
