Unlock Note 4 (N910F) EU version for worldwide SIM use. - Galaxy Note 4 General

Hi,
I own a Samsung galaxy Note 4 (N910F). I bought this phone in Germany and it has a region lock on it. Last year I went to 3 different places, first in Nepal, second in the Cape Town and the third one in Brazil due to my work. I carried my phone with me but i was not able to use the SIM in those countries.
How can I unlock (region unlock ) my phone so that I can use my phone World Wide.
My Phone is :
N910F (Europe) with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805.

Is it a region lock, or a carrier lock?

[Q] Help: Buying Note 3 N9005 from AT&T in NY

Hello,
I am from Istanbul, Turkey. As you know, Samsung released its Exynos version Note 3 in Turkish market. Note 3 with Exynos Octa processor costs approx. $1000 here in Turkey. That's why, I want to place an order from a friend who is currently in New York.
He said the cheapest Note 3 with Snapdragon processor costs $725 in AT&T Manhattan store. But the guys in that store said to him that the phone cannot be used in Turkey. And they said that he can only buy the "working versions" of Note 3 from Best Buy, Amazon or eBay.
I just want to know that, if he buys that N9005 (Snap.800) model for me, am I going to be able to use that phone in Turkey with XDA's unlock tools? I really need your help because I just have 3 days left to decide and place the order.
Many thanks..
Alper
I was told by an att rep when I bought mine that att will sim unlock any of their phones. Given it is paid for/not stolen/etc. I would call att customer service and get some solid answers

Besides "Sim Lock", I heard there is also something called "Regional Lock". Are these two different things or not? Thank you for your reply.
any other idea or suggestion?

Different:
"Samsung introduced a new regional lock on Galaxy Note 3 units shipped in Europe and the Americas, mandating users activate it with a SIM in the region it is sold in before it can be used anywhere else."

This is taken from one of the more popular cell unlocking sites
PLEASE READ THIS DISCLAIMER: If you have a Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5, Note 2, Note 3 or your Android version is Android 4.4 (KITKAT)
All SAMSUNG devices manufactured after the date of JULY 2013 and Samsung devices running on Android version is Android 4.4 (KITKAT) are subject to REGION LOCKING
If your phone has been used previously with the original carrier, this will not apply to you. However, if your device is BRAND NEW, your must activate it with the original carrier and make a call of 5 minutes or longer.
If your Samsung device becomes Region locked, you will not be able to fully factory Unlock your Samsung devices so it can be used internationally. Even the correct code will not work anymore.
In order for your Samsung device NOT to be region locked, you MUST activate (FIRST USE) your S3, S4, S5, NOTE 2, NOTE 3 with your ORIGINAL carrier at least ONCE to take your region lock OFF. After your Region lock is off, you can Sim Unlock your device via Unlock Code.
*All Canadian Carriers are NOT subject to Region Locking
*All USA and European Carriers ARE subject to Region Locking
*There will be absolutely no refunds, if your device is Region Locked and an Unlock code is provided for your Samsung Device.

USA VS. HK version of s10 for use in the UK

Given that I’m probably not going to root the phone or anything which unlocked version is better for the UK- do I have to worry about region lock even if it’s carrier unlocked

Hi,
I have been using the U.S Unlocked Snapdragon s10 version in the U.K for a few months.
No issues for me so far.
The only network issue you may run in to, is the 3 Network. The phone does not work on their 2G connections, but all other networks are good to go.
I have traveled in a few EU countries (UK, Spain, Italy, Romania) with my unlocked US S10, using local SIM/carriers (mostly Vodafone, sometimes roaming from one country to another).
I didn't have any issues...

Hello. I purchased an S10 in the USA from T-Mobile the phone is still being paid. I came to Portugal, is there any way to unlock it? If so, SIM card in Portugal will catch network, I will not have problems with it?
