I've tried one similar (if not that actual one). It was pretty awful. Felt like plastic, scratched immediately just wiping it after application.
Transparent ones will lift at the edges if they go all the way out and it'll look awful, just fyi
had the same, waste of money, looks awful, feels like compressed plastic bag. payed two months ago 9€.
at the edges you will become small breaks in it and it looks like your phone screen is broken at the edges.
if you want a gadget that makes your 450$ phone look like trash you should buy it.

I was looking for SOME kind of belt case for my Streak (until real accessories are available) and I found this one at Target.
I ripped out the clear DS slip cover from the inside and put a few drops of gorilla glue about 2 inches down the side (the long side) of the zipper to keep it from opening too far... just so it is used as a slip case.
When clipping it to my belt loop via the caribiner it just looks like a "tool case"... It isn't the best, but for $10 it will do until something better comes along

Very innovative, some good information to know. Unfortunatley though everyone will think you are a ds junkie.
Hi, this is my first time posting here since I got my Nexus, so excuse me if it's in the wrong section (I felt this belonged here more than the Q&A since it has to do with a case).
Anyway, there have been markings made by my case on my Nexus 7, and since it's made of some soft rubbery plastic, I have no idea how to get rid of it. Pictures attached (The wedge beside the "n" in nexus, and part of the case where the wedge pops up from).

Any ideas?
If they're compression or abrasion marks there's not much you can do. If it's a loss of gloss, a vinyl protection product might help, but might make it slippery.
If it's that unsightly you could look into one of the many vinyl skins found on eBay.
Hey guys. Just wanted to show you all what I decided to do here. I have the Samsung Clear View case in silver/grey for my White Note 5. I really like it, but the case being a shiny plastic scratches up like a mother just by looking at it wrong. Especially on the back. So I decided, why not get a skin for it? I have used stickerboy in the past, and they are having a Labor Day 25% off deal right now so I ordered a "leather" skin in pewter color. I did have to make the cutout myself around the camera hole. Turned out pretty good, but not perfect. Otherwise I really like it and I don't have to worry about it scratching on the back at all any more. Plus it adds grip which is great.

Looks pretty damn good to me.
One previous OP phones I used the nice lean but quality flip/wallet case and was disappointed I could not find one on the 7t accessories pages.
So I went after market and stumbled onto what seems to be a OP case but it could be counterfeit I don't know but its as nice as the others I used.
I carry my phone with only a screen protector and dbrand skin but at work I use a flip case. The after markets are wonky with silicone surrounds over the buttons. the add bulk, something I loath doing to a phone.
These do not cover the controls or mich/speaker ports. The phone is easy to insert and remove.

Does the screen automatically start in this case when it is opened?

@Jed Hassler
Imho everthing will be better than this.
Or your must be satisfied with what you have now.
An Amoled is about 120USD, a TFT screen is about 40USD and a replacement cover about 15USD on AliExpress.
Mostly the display does work without problems, but don't expect gorilla glass, so use tempered glass to prevent early breakage.
Personally, because of the risk, I find the Amoled version too expensive as a replacement (a new RN10P is about 220USD), but you can consider the TFT version.
It is not always easy to replace it, so first look at Youtube if you are comfortable with it.
With an RN4 I have done it several times, but once I did broke the glass before replacing.
For that I advice always to choose a display with frame.
Jeez, that Note 10 Pro looks beat up, what happened?
