I haven't been keeping up with gear manager beyond using it to get null flashed. What did Samsung do with lollipop installer?

The older versions were pushed out with all the files needed. So people could install what they wanted.
The new version is just an installer and it then downloads and installs all the other bits automatically when you pair it with the gear. So it makes it real hard to install on non samsung phones

I believe you have any dev experience, seeing you have put this custom rom together.
Are you aware that a group of devs are trying to port Android Wear to our beloved Gear 1 ?
If you have time, would you join this group and share your knowledge ?

Im not too good when it comes to ports and compiling from source (never done it)
I prefer to mod apps and add extra features etc.

I am running Null_23 and no need to try another rom, but I want to thank you for your hard work.
Another ROM for this great device is always welcome, especially since there is not much choice in roms.

Hey bud.
My ROM is solely based on Touch Wiz.
Its basically Stock ROM but with extra apps and a few mods to improve usability etc.
I haven't tried Null but it seems that is more of a fully functioning phone type rom with google services etc.
Where as mine is more like straight out of the box but with a few extras

So it uses stock kernel, etc? What about the NFC pairing to Samsung phones only? Is that removed?

I have searched and tried "all" ROMS, and organized them here :
First, we must say Thanks to darkera13 for his ROM for NOTE3, that have been used as base for our S4 LTE-A,
and for his incredible kernel (DarkLord v1.7) that corrects a lot of issues -> It's actually the best kernel for all ROMS below.

But I appreciate the work of all and I hope you can point me to more viable for everyday use. I am Brazilian and I am a little confused on a few things but I gradually catching way. rsrsss. Thank you all

Because you had ported V3 by Artas182x, but no the V4 !
So I did that (link coming soon).
I finished your work 3lambda by making Camera fully working, and I corrected some bugs.
If you have a remark, I will listen to you.

Today is a new day !
I'm going to do that, but it take a lot more time because,
even if I know all MM Touchwiz Roms, I don't know by hearth all from 4.2 to 6.0 !
So it will take some time (2 days) to achieve...
And I'm currently working on an other project : best S5 ROM (no bugs at all)

Thank you for the info, but this 3rd party camera app can't rivalize with my STOCK S5 camera app, fully working in my ROM...

Gugudas s7 rom works great, except when u start camera and close ost, after the phone is very laggy. Kernel issue, hope get fixed soon

About all custom ported roms for S4 LTE-A(E330S-my device)
All ported roms above you mentioned & others, Im encountering some problem about sending sms..
Sometimes i cant send an sms and the only fix to do is to change the network mode from gsm to wcdma vice versa or restart my phone.(E330s)
But in stock rom i haven't this problem.because i think that it's a problem with these ported roms.please anyone tell me how to fix this bug in ported custom roms.:crying:

This is pretty much samsung rom with mods from this subforum

so its not 5.1.1 its just the stock 5.0.2 with some mods and themes ?

I notice all of you guys disrespecting the OP are are junior members & NONE of you are developers. XDA doesn't tolerate flaming, obviously you can't do what he's done, so give him a break. The guy took his own personal time & put something together & shared it. Don't like it, then don't use it, but keep your flaming to yourself. The ROM IS NOT STOCK just look at the features, mods, busybox, etc. This IS a custom ROM, what us old school devs call a Kang. He never said it was an S6 ROM, if you bothered to read the description, it says S6 Styled.

Porting a ROM doesn't make you a Developer & he is NOT a recognized developer, just a member.
Notice how my avatar says RECOGNIZED DEVELOPER... I took some time off from XDA because I develop for a living now.

Best Camera App for CM on s6e+ (Haven't Tried TW)

Hey guys just wanted to share this little piece of quality work from @androidexpert35 that I have tested with CM and it works amazingly. I'm assuming any apps ported from the Meziu Pro5 on FlymeOS would also work well on an AOSP build since the specs are equal.
Haven't tried this on TouchWiz at all yet but I'm sure it would work just fine also.

Using the launcher now it works great too .
No other way to get ported apps from the Meizu Pro5 and I had many builds facing camera issues, so these finds are a blessing!

Thanks for trying our work we appreciate it. These ports give us experience and we love doing it. Our next big project is a full note 8 port. 7.1.1 nougat and we have a working rough draft so prob after Christmas we will have it done

it will be the DNA ROM port because of the DNA dev told me that it was carrying 7.1.1 for the other versions of the J7 or work in a ROM of its own

Thanks for trying our work we appreciate it. These ports give us experience and we love doing it. Our next big project is a full note 8 port. 7.1.1 nougat and we have a working rough draft so prob after Christmas we will have it done

V3 about to come out. Direct port of the a3 rom. Rebased on a710f firmware. With a whole bunch of extras. Fast and light.

This is a very nice ROM, but I'm having issues with the lockscreen, whether I set a pattern or a pin. I have to attempt an unlock several times before it'll unlock. Is there a way fix that?

No fix, nougat bug. Its on every ROM including stock. Keep tapping the screen after entering pin and or hit recent. Should make it faster.

Thanks for the quick response and your work on these roms. Really fantastic stuff. One more question if you don't mind. Do I need to flash magicdisk before I install this ROM? Some tutorials say I do. Magicdisk is new to me, I've been off the scene for a while.
