Battery drain from Android OS - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hi, Android OS is using a lot of my data plan whe I turn off the phone. I have the notification that shows you how much data was used with the screen turned off and it ALWAYS shows more than 2 MB. Last 24h it used 92 MB and it's killing my data plan. Do you know how can I know which specific process is consuming the most?
Here I post some pictures.
Data used with the screen off (last time I turned it off)

Maybe its updating some stuff or probably syncing something. Give it a couple of days and see if it settles down, if it doesnt, I would suggest a factory reset when you are at home and connected to your home network and see how it goes the next day.

It normally uses about 1~2 MB but from 18th January it increased to a daily average of 10MB. Most of the time I'm connected to my wifi so I don't know how much data it will use if I'm not connected to any wifi during all the day. I think I'll do a factory reset before the f****** process finishes killing all my data

[WorkAround] Delayed Notifications Nexus 4

Hello guys, finally i have found a good workaround for this issue which affect most of nexus 4 devices.
Let me explain the scenario : Leave the phone in deep sleep for some minutes and try to send a notification, you will get it delayed. Also you can try to ping your device via Computer, you will notice the ping average very high
Below the workaround. Install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gejos.android.wakemyandroidpro
Set it like the screenshots below
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Leave the app active, you will have a wakelock every 29 seconds which wake your phone from death sleep (no notifications), without screen goes on (its an invisible wakelock)
You will notice an improvement in notifications no more delayed more of 60 seconds.
Important This app could drain your battery a bit, but still better to turn off wifi optimization which makes your battery life ****ty and android os in battery stats. Im on hellscore and im getting an awesome battery life with this app (1 day of medium usage) .Try to believe.
Cheers, Xda_Emanuel
Thank You Emanuel. Will try and report back.

History Details Battery S3 Mini

Google Traduction:
Hi, sorry if annoying truth but this seems strange truth to be honest do not know about my s3 mini, I've installed room and that but I noticed that the battery is down something fast depending on what I was doing, right now I have the stock 4.1.2 but when half load or when this something good too full battery I use the example device is typically 50% and normal use I get to see videos and play around it or the normal low battery when I'm using, when this active, but when I turn off the screen on the right button and wait 1 to 2 min, depending on what it is I've done 10% or 13% down, my I find it strange because I find it strange that when you turn off the screen passes that instead of consuming much more when I do an activity and I want to know if you happened to them or if it's normal for this device, here I place a photo seems a kind of stairs:

I've used battery calibration and nothing
Nothing?
Probably your network signal. See mine signal it's straight, no gaps like yours. It means your device keep all that time trying to connect, connected, disconected, doing all that over & over so your bat goes up very fast. Try other basebands, search on s3 mini forum, you'll find them

[Q] Sudden battery drain

I've had this phone for about a week and this is the first instance where my phone has gone down to 10% battery in the matter in 8 hours with what I can only describe is light use. I get a few emails, most of the time it sits with the screen off. I checked the battery stats and saw Android OS at 21% usage followed by Cell Standby and Screen.
I am rooted at 5.0.1 but stock and encrypted. Only mods I have done is DPI at 493 and double tap to wake.
Anyone else experienced this before?
So I've been having that issue the past couple days too. I installed a program called BetterBatteryStats.
Yesterday I fired it up after having about half my battery drain in a matter of a few hours.
I saw that my deep sleep was about 3 hours, my awake was 8 or so hours but my screen on was only about 1 hour. Something was keeping my phone from sleeping.
I went threw and uninstalled everything I could think of that had either updated or been added since it started and now it seems to be sleeping again so I'd look at installed apps and updates.

[Q]pil-modem_fw: why won't it leave me alone?

I started noticing extreme battery drain around the time I began fooling around with the lollipop rom builds that began popping up in the forums last month, so I started trying to look into it. This is what I found: (this isn't a good example because of a short timeframe, but at times it's been up to 30k wakelocks over 6 hours)

I've tried searching Google and of the 2 posts that even come close, I can't make sense of it.
My phone is currently disconnected and has been for some time, so I can't tell if it's searching for service, even though I keep it in airplane mode, with Wi-Fi on only when I need it, turned off background data, even froze the phone app. Still no luck. Same thing when I switched back to cm11.
Is there anyone or there who knows what this is about and what I can do about it?
***ANY and ALL info is GREATLY appreciated***

If you flash the stock 4.4.4 firmware for your device with fastboot/mfastboot it will likely be fixed.
Why you're getting this.... I don't know. Can't find anything on it either.

Question [Problem] Apps randomly loosing internet access.

This problems happening to me since C.08 update, I guess (Now on C.09).
Phone was working ok, but at some point my apps started randomly loosing internet access. While the phone it's connected, and working, some given apps (Mainly Instagram, Telegram, Samnsung Browser or Play Store) loose their internet access (But not at the same time. I can have Telegram disconnected, but Play store working).
Whenever I reboot the phone all apps start working again, but after a few minutes/hours some of them get disconnected again.
Funny thing it's same apps on my work profile keep working flawlessly.
I've done a factory reset and installed apps again from scratch, but same thing keeps happening. Also I've checked the Energy options to have them always connected. I've also been using work profile since having the phone, and never had such problem until C.08...
Any clue? Thanks!
You already mentioned about doing a factory reset.
So I will cut to chase.
Data saver might be on...
