alarm sound on vibrate/silent?

in some ROM's there is an option under "more" in clock & alarms that allows you to enable the alarm sounding when on silent or vibrate. does anyone know of a CAB that you can install that will add this feature without downloading the whole ROM'?

Has anyone found a way to do this? I really would like a cab that would add this tab to allow my alarm to come on on vibrate.

I just recently bought a viva. I used my old phone as my alarm clock. This one is a bit more stubborn. I cannot find anywhere to be able to change the sound on the alarm. It only makes a short sound that goes of twice and then quits. Does anyone know how to customize the alarm setting on the phone? Using a daily reminder as my alarm is hassle. THANKS!

Go to Settingd/Clock&Alarm; touch on the "small bell" icon, and some options for customizing the alarm setting will display.

[Question] Best alarm app?

What's everyones favorite alarm app?
I'm using Alarm Clock Plus V2 right now. I like it but it can be buggy at times. Also, I can only set it to play one song and not a playlist. This has the side affect of me learning to hate whatever song wakes me up.
On the other hand it asks me math questions to dismiss it. Gets my brain working and I'm less likely to fall asleep again, which is nice.
Other than that it functions much like the stock alarm with some extra features.
Oh, and it's free.
Are there any other alarms with great features I'm missing out on?

A reliable alarm is very important, so I just use stock.

Kaloer Clock is a fantastic alarm clock. Lots of configurable options and very reliable.

[Q] Alarm clock problem/s

I use this forum a lot but never posted here before. I have a problem with my alarm clock which I never found an answer for so far.
My original problem was that the stop/snooze screen would not respond sometimes when I set the alarm over night (testing the alarm a few minutes ahead works fine). Changing roms did not help as well (using darky 9.5 now).
After some reading I understood there are some known issue with stock alarm so I tried 3rd party alarm clocks and I ended up with AlarmDroid.
I like that program but sometimes it just doesn't go off. if I set it to 7AM it shows in the lock screen the time and then a minute later it just disappear without ringing.
oh, I don't use any task killers. Haven't tried the alarm on 2.3.3 yet (is there any change with the alarm clock from 2.2?)
Any direction to what else I can try would be welcomed.

Alarm Clock Plus v2 has never let me down, snooze works great on it and you can set it for as many snooze presses as you like, don't like the stock one (JVB).

I'm just afraid these problems might be linked somehow and it will happen no matter what alarm clock I use.

[REQUEST] “Stock“ alarm from GB for ICS (AOPK)

Hi, please exist something like "stock" version of GB alarm application for ICS?
I'm not satisfied with default alarm app from ICS (Infinitum 2.2), because I missed few function.
I know few alternatives (i.e. Gentle Alarm, or Alarm clock extreme, Alarm Droid), but...
1) Tasker didn't recognize alarm
or
2) Widgets didn't recognize time of next alarm (i.e. BITS)
or
3) They don't have timer or stopwatch function
or
4) They don't have "soft alarm"
So please let me know if exist some solution for it (i.e. Stock from SGS2??).
