Can't install eui 5.8.19s - LeEco Le 2 Questions & Answers

Why can't I go back to my stock rom, I'm on rr5.8.1
I installed a recovery from which we can install stock rom but the screen is stuck on where it shows patching system image unconditionally.
Please help

1)Sideload the rom.
2) if u get a error saying this package is for le_s2_ww and this is s2 then open the zip file of stock rom go to meta-inf/com/google/android open updater script in notepad++ then remove the first 2 lines.

That's a very bad idea, the whole point of checking model numbers is to stop people flashing the wrong ROM and bricking their device.

Bro it has happened to me a lot of time and this is always due to file corruption during the download or while copying the files. So just redownload it without pausing the download and it will flash properly!!

Ydss TWRP use karo flash ho jayaga

Try wait more than 9 minutes before moaning about no replies.
Also give more information. Such as the ROM you're trying to install and what you've done previously. (e.g. have you flashed ROMS before? Unlocked your phone? blah blah)

yes i have unlocked and rooted my nexus one already and i have flashed the amon ra,s recovery image.
what rom should i install? because nothing is working. i tried the alpha 21 rom and cayanogen rom and the official nexus one rom. they did not work.
how are you installing them? did you check the md5 check sum to make sure the file isn't corrupt? are you unzipping or just placing the zip file directly into the root of your SD?
anyway, since you are having trouble doing it, i would recommend you download and install the app, RomManager from the market; this app will download and then install it for you
otherwise, i would just download the zip files (ROM) again and try it

i am not unzipping well one rom worked "nexdesire" and now i dont even have the market app so i cant get the Rom manager . and how do you check the md5 file?
to check md5 sum (which is provided by all the roms you download, they are usually right next to the download links), download and install this: HashTab
To check, you just need to right click on the file > properties > one of the tabs should say File Hashes and you just copy/paste the MD5 you got for the rom into the space provided and click compare; it they match, the file should be fine
whatcha developing??? lmfao

try flashing cm 5.0.6 again, after that flash the google-addon (in the cyanogenmod thread, first post is a link to the download section).
the google-addon will give you the market back.
also, read cm's instructions and follow step by step.
and post in Q&A, not development...

Try to use CWM recovery from CoCore Kernel and see if you can flash custom ROM's.
But make a backup in CWM of your stock ROM, because that one from TWRP don't work in CWM.
I have never had any bugs/errors with CWM, NEVET. So try to follow Razvan's comment

Redownload the ROM. Zip is corrupted, or you renamed the folder zip and name contain spaces.
Try first with redownload. I'm almost sure for corrupted zip.

Make sure what version you flash. If your phone is I9070P you must download EP version, and for I9070 must flash E version.

Hmm, now you have custom recovery.
Enter in recovery, and if choose backup to sdcard1., and wit until finish that operation and receive message "backup complete".
Then, if you already have downloaded ROM and GApps, make wipe cache and dalvik and do a wipe of data/factory reset (be sure you have already backed up your apps with some backup app like Titanium Backup or other), go to install zip, choose zip from external card and proceed to flash, first ROM after that GApps.

Most likely the zip file you are working with is corrupt since
the error you get says "unable to open zip file" so....
Re-Download the infamous zip file directly to your computer.
(not to the phone)
Then copy it to your internal sdcard and go into twrp recovery.
Then do a full wipe which includes system, data, cache, dalvik
and last but not least do a "factory reset" in twrp.
Once that's all done go a head and flash the rom.
One way to tell if the zip file is good is open the zip file while it's
still on your computer, if you see no popup window displaying an
error then chances are excellent that the zip file has no errors in it.
Good luck,
Have a great evening.

bad idea will make the boot slower in TWRP and plus its runnning t-mobile lastest update so you should be good!
I hope you are confused. You can write the numbers of the md5 of the zip you uploaded on the first page, not adding one for twrp to check, but so that people can still use a checker before they try to install it and say you messed something up when it was just a bad download

2. The Nougat Theme Stock Rom with Android 4.2.2 is the one from youtuber technicandro shree
I've tested it, but it's really annoying:
menu settings are Spanish but the rest in my mother tongue
Android 7 display in the menu is fake
Virtual buttons

this is a guide for the custom nougat rom, if you're interested:
I circumvented it by unpack illyrianking kernel zip, unpack philz touch recovery zip, going into odin, untick auto reboot, flash illyrianking kernel, reboot manually again into download mode, flash philz touch recovery.
boot into philz.
in philz: wipe to install a new rom
now the rom can be installed!
I can only confirm this working from stock to custom rom!
illyrianking kernel also makes the device faster & has more tuning options.
here are the files:
(illyrianking kernel usually also can be downloaded on androidfilehost)

[MENTION=227448]@thimprfc[MENTION] your method is work for this Rom or not???
If work then i will add this kernel in that Rom..
only for the nougat rom, unfortunately.
would be great if you add that kernel in the rom, I find it's the best.
it works for the nougat rom mentioned above & that has the same problem.
I only can confirm it working from stock to custom rom.

I've already tried, without success.

I am 100% sure that the kernel has nothing to do with flashing a custom rom. And since you haven't tested it either, I know the result.
The Nougat Theme Stock Rom I could also start with the Baroni Kernel.

that is not my work and not my project but i can handle and do many update for that Rom after some week..
i need someone who is ready to test and provide me screenshot and then i wll add his/her name in the work...

ok, I test it for you.
@pandeyshreedhar, @AlphaAnimal, you were so right,
back again. I've tested it & sorry, it did not work.
wish I could have told you something else.
but for the nougat rom it works. right done.
but I can only confirm it from stock to custom rom, not from custom to custom rom.
will edit the posts & describe it as a method for the nougat rom.
no, it's not a kernel thing, it only helps 'a little' sometimes, because it sets the binary to custom & that can sometimes help with flashing. the whole thing is more a recovery problem, this phone has much problems with custom recovery, unfortunately.
but the illyrianking kernel is nevertheless very good imho.
it was worth a try...
now you don't have to test it & be upset.
@pandeyshreedhar,
thank you for trying to create a bloat-free rom for this phone!
I haven't flashed it yet, but viewed the zip & it helped me a lot to figure out which apps & libs are bloatware, from which I never thought they were...
will the custom nougat rom, you'll create, be the same way?
I wll publish another link for fix rom flash error but i can'nt test that bocz of phone is in repair in progress..
So any one interset to test it or not????
First backup everything including all....

Thank you very much. I'll try tomorrow and report back here.
The DEODEXROM has shrunk by 191MB. Is there a changelog for this?
