Modified tethering app - SuperSU

Is there anybody on here who has a modified tethering app for a Samsung SGH-I537 running on KitKat(4.4.2) so I can bypass this carrier verification crap. I've tried the pre-rooted flashfire method and it just won't flash this phone for some reason. Or if anybody has a pre-rooted package for Lollipop to flash in w/ Odin that would be great too.

Rooting kills my S3 LTE!

Have a very weird and frustrating issue with my UK i9305 on EE.
As soon as it's rooted, no matter what SU app I use, it starts to heat up and leak RAM once booted until it runs out of RAM and restarts. And repeat. Until I unroot it and the problem stops. Initially, I thought it was a problem with SuperSU but I've also tried ChainsDD and Koush's Superuser apps with the same result. It looks like something requesting root access is causing a problem but I don't know what. It has said that it's granting root access to "shell" if that's anything to go by?
I resorted to wiping, flashing a newer 4.1.2 stock ROM (BLL5) but I still have the same problem. Can't for the life of me work out what's going on and really don't want to have to wipe again, especially since it seems not to fix the problem anyway.
Any ideas?
What method of root are you using??

Which version of SuperSU are you using? This was an issue in V1.0 for all Galaxy phones, and Chainfire has already released a workaround for this in the latest versions.
I've rooted using both CF Autoroot and mskip's toolkit. Same issue with both.
I'm aware of the issue with SuperSU and I've used subsequent versions of it (and indeed different SU apps) without success.
Interestingly, whatever version of SuperSU I try, the binaries can't be updated. I'm wondering if a previous unroot has left me with some relic of SuperSU that is causing me problems.

What about an Odin flash with stock firmware than try and root or flash a pre-rooted stock firmware?
Thanks
I did Odin flash the firmware I currently have but once I rooted, had the same problem.

[Q] Taking the OTA

From what I have seen it can be rather difficult to take the 4.4.2 update. I am rooted using the methods from jcase and am currently on 4.4 with the correct bootloaders for the update. I have been using xposed and I know I need to flash the xposed disable zip file, but how do I do that without having TWRP or CWM? I think I have done everything else needed to get take the update (removed superuser app and turned off all root permissions.)is there anything else that needs to be done besides disable xposed?

Unlocked/Rooted Problems

Hi all!
Iv got a Galaxy S III I9305 here, and it has just been unlocked from EE, so it can be used with a Three sim instead.
But this seems to have caused some problems...
I have no idea how this person has unlocked it, but now when I try to open a Banking App, its telling me it cant be used as the device is rooted...
why would the person that unlocked it have rooted it too? just seems weird!
My question is, if I was to follow This guide to unroot it, would I also loose the unlock to use any sim, as I will probably have to flash a stock EE rom back on to it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
cheers
Keith
You just need to flash a Stock Sammsung rom.Wich firmware have you now? When for example you.'re on 4.1.1 you need to find and flash true Odin Stock 4.1.2 firmware. This will remove the root.

Im not actually sure what version has been put on it to be honest, because it just looks like a stock rom to me, which is weird haha
It says its version 4.3.
So if I use Odin to flash this file... http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/38008/I9305XXUENH1_I9305EVRENH1_EVR.zip/
It should let me use banking apps, and also stay unlocked for any sim?
Cheers for your help!
Another option, would be to keep it rooted, install Xposed framework (which is great by the way) and then install Rootcloak.
Rootcloak lets you fool apps into thinking that the phone is not rooted.
I use it for some tv-streaming apps, which works quite well.

Its running Android 4.3 so it should be compatible.

[Help] Xposed for Samsung Galaxy S5 (g900a) touchwiz lollipop 5.0

I just upgraded to lollipop 5.0 manually on my laptop by flashing it via ODIN on my laptop. However, I am unable to install the Xposed framework now because I am aware that the ART has been changed and what not, causing systems to boot loop. I've looked everywhere for a guide on how to install the framework but I'm not getting anywhere. I rooted my phone already but what I've been reading is that I need to "deodex" my system ROM. Any link, video, or help is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone got a working Marshmallow + Root + Android Pay/Systemless Root combo?

Currently rooted on the Concept rom, I've tried Systemless SuperSU but Android Pay fails to verify the device. Unrooting through SuperSU gets Android Pay working again. Has anyone had any success? With the Concept or Stock rom?
