Are the ROMS for Oneplus 3 really compatible with Oneplus 3T? - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hello, recently I am seeing more and more videos in youtube of this, I think that the ROMS should be made to the specific model, but share your experiences

not they are not, only unified builds, onelus 3 rom != oneplus 3 unified rom

I would NOT assume OnePlus3 ROM is compatible with OnePlus3T unless it specifically says so!!

How Long Before We See A Debloated, Tweaked Rom Possibly By The Name of OP3 T Lite ?

Similar to the following OP3 Lite Rom which has been developed for the OnePlus 3 :

Once someone develops such ROM. No idea how long it could take.
Just ask for some magic, maybe a dev is already on it?

Paranoid Android 6.0.1 op3 to op3t?

Need the rom unified to run for either device or one made from scratch for 3t. Just word of advice never try to install a rom for the device not intended to unless the developers say it's unified.

LineageOS for OnePlus 3T - When?

Does anyone know when LineageOS will be released for the OnePlus 3T? So far, I only see the OnePlus 3 supported.
think u might wanna take a look under the 3t roms/kernels and such..
as soon as possible! Don't worrie about this.
You can't Flash the op3 ROM on a op3t right?
If u take a look in the 3t xda thread there are few lineageos roms
As for official Lineage ROMs all of the One Plus devices (1, 2, X, 3) are on the list except the 3T so you will not see an Official LineageOS in the short term (days). Hopefully it will make an appearance soon.
As others have mentioned above, there are Unofficial options Lineage based ROMs that you can try. Within them, there are two categories; unified (3 and 3T) or specific to the 3T.

dont matter if official or unofficial.
try tugapower 7.1, runs very very well.
The necessary commits are actively being worked on, so it shouldn't be too much longer till we see an official build. Whether they take the unified or dedicated approach, is yet to be seen.

Is there any future of ROM development for Redmi 4X(santoni) ?

Searching the whole Redmi 4x a.k.a Redmi 4(India) thread on XDA I came up to know that xiaomi has not released kernel sources yet. I was looking forward to buy this device but looking at the lazy response from manufacturer I doubt the development and getting it. Share your thoughts and suggestion down below. Should I get this device or get Lenovo zuk Z2 plus which is available around the same price ?
I'm waiting for a deal to get one for my mom. I'm happy so far with my Note 4X (SD 625) which I'm running with Resurrection Remix, so I think a slighty downsized and down-specced version would be great for her. If there is no custom firmware in the near future, she'll be fine. I wouldn't wanna miss LOS or RR on my phone, but MIUI isn't bad for lots of people.
There are already a few custom ROMs for RM4X like yurekaOS based on nougat 7.1.2 and as i read in forums it seems to be running ok for the most users.
Still i wouldn't expect too much in custom development. see RM3S for example. there are ROMs available but development goes slow
So if you are no friend of MIUI (and upcoming MIUI 9) and want lot of custom development then you might consider buying another phone.
Hi,
any plans for CM 13.1 or Lineage equivalent for Redmi Note 4X Qualcomm not built on nougat?
Need Android 6 as 7+ doesn't allow for USB bus speed auto-negotiation, which is "kinda" big deal in my application.
Thanks for input

You are asking for "Mido" not for Redmi 4X "Santoni"

Raphael and raphaelin?

I'm completely baffled, never seen this on the Oneplus custom ROMs.
What is / who is / are - Raphael and Raphaelin?
Most ROM's in this forum have that reference in their name, and on one of the details I see:
- Your device should have vendor/FW for raphael: 10.3.16 or vendor/FW for Raphaelin 10.3.5.0
Is that like a codename (such as Android's Kitkat, Lollipop and Intel's Skylake, Coffeelake) for Xiaomi vendor firmware versions?
If someone can explain a bit what I need to know about that when rooting and flashing custom ROMs, or has a reference link where I can read up I'd appreciate it! This will be my first Xiaomi phone. I've been rooting and running custom ROMs since Samsung S5 and LG G2, then a series of Oneplus phones. I'm familiar with most ins and outs but never seen this before.
Thanks!

All phones have a codename. If your used to OnePlus, think bacon (OnePlus 1), cheeseburger(OnePlus 5), dumping(OnePlus 6), etc.
The codename for the K20 Pro is raphael. The Indian version of the K20 Pro has it's codename modified to raphaelin.
