Hello guys. I just got an updater notification and I wanted to know which Android version is it based on. Google Search doesn't give any results. Anybody has it installed and can give me some feedback?
Can you take screenshot? I quess it is for Lollipop.

It's all in Polish, so you probalby won't understand. I'll just install it and give it a go.
It says only saying about improvements, not about any technical stuff like Android version.

Thanks, mine update failed to download unfortunately. Shame it's still Android 5.0.1 and EMUI 3.1. I hoped for Marshmallow
I can't download it...it's slow.... 40% in 4 h, but in the end has stopped.
Yeah, mine isn't downloading either. It has partially downloaded several times and failed repeatedly. I'm in Slovenia with US English settings.
Hi! I have the same problem with the download. It's very slow and it crashed several times. Is it a problem with my phone or a problem from Huawei's servers? Thanks!
Now I download without problems and installed, but earlier its very, very slow, 3% per hour. I'm in Poland.
Anyone can share the experience after installing B200 ?
Is it better than B190 in terms of battery life (at least after this day or so since release
Is the fix for "double-tap-letters" still present i.e. was not removed / did not come back? (B190 fixed this and I hope that all future updates will be fine)
P.S. I cannot find anywhere link to this B200. (I found only the update for standard P8). Anyone can share a link if possible?
Installed it this morning and there are two things that I noticed:
- status bar isn't showing 4g but it says lte
- double tap bug has been repaired I think

Double-tap bug has been repaired already in B190 (but thanks for letting us know that nobody broke it in newer B200

Anyone has the link? I cannot find it on official Huawei site.
I can't install B200, 4% error every time :/ can someone help? or give a link to a solution
Installed. No notable changes.

i wanted to update it per local update again or to the beta version above, but it always says "Software install failed".
does anyone have the same problem or know how i can fix it ? would be a big help !!

This has been answered and mentioned several times unfortunately. Please use the search function before posting threads
You cannot go from STABLE to BETA without unlocking the bootloader, and you especially cannot do it from the updater. It must be flashed. I'm going to assume that you are trying to "update" to the new version with Android Pie. The Mi Mix 2S just a day or two ago received stable MIUI 10 with 9.0. Be patient and wait for the update for us as it should be arriving soon. Beta versions were intended for developers and for testing purposes and may have bugs. It really is not worth the trouble of unlocking the bootloader and jumping to a test version for a newer version of Android even more so when a "stable" version is just around the corner. Most things will remain unchanged from MIUI 10 based on 8.1.0 to MIUI 10 based on 9.0. People have been bricking their devices due to little experience with Xiaomi smartphones, and it would be terrible to see another one join the list.
How long we wait?
I've got a global mi 8
It's mid march, latest update is 8.1 Oreo Android with 9.6.6

Android 8.1
Miui 9.6.6

Bought on eBay all works fine just can't upgrade
If I download a zip file and try to install under system update - choose file it says the this rom isnt valid for carrier type or something like this.

Sorry for the late reply. I believe it may possibly have a vendor ROM. Your phone should have updated over a month ago to MIUI 10. At this point I believe the only solution would be to unlock the bootloader in order to flash the latest version. Unfortunately this takes about 30 days after the unlock is requested.
That's the 3UK version of global.
No updates as of yet, either be patient or unlock bootloader and flash global stable of Pie.
Yes. And to be honest, DO NOT rush for 9.0. There is severe battery drain on 10.2.2.0 and 10.2.3.0. I used to get 6+ hours of SOT (screen on time), on 10.2.2.0 I would get about 5hrs, on the latest 10.2.3.0 I get 4 hours. Others have complained about the same. In my opinion, the added features aren't worth the battery life lost.

We have 3 Mi8's in our house
Personally I am using the Mi-Globe version " globeROM_v10_dipper_9.3.21_cfg" it is fantastic! It has all of the features such as dark mode, AOD options, face unlock, charging animations, the best themes from all over the world and zero ads.
On the other 2 phones we have the official 10.2.3. While its not as good as 9.3.21 the battery life is still about 8 hours SOT.

You can easily update the phone yourself using odin to flash the newest firmware version! You don't have to wait for your carrier to do it just go download the newest firmware for N950F and flash it and just do that every time a new one comes out.
Thx MrMike,
My mobile content will remain or i will lose all my apps...etc ?

If you're only updating you should be fine however I would still suggest you use Smart Switch from the play store and make a backup of everything on your phone so it saves the backup to your SD card so if anything goes wrong you still have everything and you just use Smart Switch to restore it all.. You never do anything to your phone without making a backup!

Download samfirm.exe or frija on PC and download firmware and flash phone with Odin using PC.
Search YouTube on how to use Odin and Samfirm.exe or frija.
Hi,
I have checked this link below and currently for G998U, Android 12 is not listed there yet. Can I flash other firmware from different phone model to my phone with Odin?
Samsung Android 12 Tracker: Here are all the official One UI 4.0 stable and beta builds to download and install
One UI 4 beta builds based on Android 12 have begun rolling out to multiple Samsung Galaxy devices. Head on over for the download links!
www.xda-developers.com
No.
I flashed the Official today on my 998U1, the TMB release. Worked like a dream except the Verizon bloat and no Samsung cloud restore. Oh well. Remove bloat and restore manually your apps, and POOF! Android 12 One UI 4.

Hi mate just saw the firmware now available but has a different CSC. Can I flash them over?
Yes.
How can you find out what version of the phone you have? I purchased a used Google brand (or so I thought) P5 this spring and I thought I flashed the Feb 21 A11 RQ1"A".210205.004 build (certain I did because that's the build I have downloaded). I did this before I ever installed my Verizon SIM card. I have been struggling with connectivity issues for a while now, and another XDA member suggested that I reflash the radios from that build. Sounds like a good idea, but when I just looked at the build number on the phone its a RQ1"D" build number. I never downloaded that version, so three questions:
1, Could the phone change the build number when I installed the Verizon SIM card? If so, which radio flash would be the correct one? The Google version or the Verizon version?
2. What can I check on the phone to determine what version of the hardware I have? I had the bootloader unlock option available when I got the phone, so I thought it was a Google phone. Are there other clues as to the hardware version?
3, Generally, if you are using a Google phone with a Verizon SIM in it, do you use Google builds or Verizon builds?
Thanks in advance
Settings > About phone > Android version
Or
Settings > About phone -- Build number is on the bottom
When I first bought the phone (Google unlocked) I was using Verizon.
I'm now on AT&T, however the build used remain the same.
I'll link the latest factory images for Pixel 5
Android 12
Android 13

Thanks for your response. Something odd seems to be going on here. I found the phones hardware to be GD1YQ in the Regulatory Labels tab, so is not the Japan or Global model. So I know I did not download and flash the Verizon build, but yet the phone says the version is the "D" (Verizon) build. I am not sure whether to flash the radios out of the Verizon version or the Google version of the update. I do not want a brick, so I am confused as to how to move forward.
But, if there is no specifically Verizon version hardware, why is there two different updates? It should not matter which version you use, right? Especially if the hardware is unlocked and the only difference is the sim card...
What am I missing here?

This is as simple as I can possibly make it for you...
Android 11.0.0 (RQ3A.211001.001, Oct 2021
Android 12.1.0 (SQ3A.220705.003.A1, Jul 2022)
Android 13.0.0 (TP1A.220624.014, Aug 2022)
Depending on if you want to stay on Android 11, upgrade to Android 12 or latest Android 13.. these are the links for the Pixel 5 - Redfin
I personally suggest you upgrade to Android 12, and wait for more releases of Android 13, before upgrading to it.
Choice is yours obviously.
