I think you need to replace the battery

where i can do that actually in my country i think there are not to much smartwatches
Sent from my SM-N920S using XDA-Developers Legacy app

Did you try to:
1. Fully charge your watch
2. Reset your watch (and remove root/Roms if existing) and connect it again
3. Use your watch until it's on 0%
4. Fully charge it again
If that does not work the battery is probably dead.
Contact the LG support you they are able to tell you where you can replace the battery.

mybe there is overheating issue .,.. watch will power of at 60C I think,,

I'm getting the same issue. My watch dies, and when I put it on the charger it will usually show around 63% full, and charge to 100%. It then dies after probably about the difference, i.e. a third of the time it would normally have lasted. When I put it back on the charger it's back at 63% full or so. I have never installed a ROM, and it's definitely not overheating here in Ireland. Going into recovery mode and resetting doesn't help.
I have seen in another thread that someone said taking the battery out, which is an involved process (google change lg g watch r battery for the guide on ifixit), and reinserting it works. I might give that a go, but I reckon it's time for a new battery.
Follow-up: Replaced the battery and it's working perfectly! I did get it updated to AW 2.0 before replacing the battery, but it didn't make any difference to the original issue, but it's running sweet and fast too now.

Battery percentage problem

My SGT is having a strange battery percentage problem. The battery was at 95% and the unit was on flight mode last night with no apps running. This morning it was dropped to 78% (over about 6.5hrs). So I turned it off and restarted, the battery percentage was back to 94%.
For some reasons, the battery percentage is dropping way too fast until I restart the unit, it seems like android is reporting a wrong battery percentage. Or could it be the battery? Does anyone experience the same problem? Any solution? And what is the normal power consumption under flight mode for other SGT user?
I just did a hard reset (wipe cache/data and reset to factory) to see if it helps and I am not installing any apps just to keep it in stock condition.
Thanks!
Generally, about 3% lose of bettery during the whole night with mobile on, while power meter may go wrong on Android devices, for example XT701 is.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
So the XT701 has the same problem? How do they resolve this?
I start to think if I should take it to Samsung for repair.
Any help guys??
Would flashing a new firmware help the situation? I am tired of rebooting the tab so often just to get the right battery percentage report.
Other than this issue, the tab is PERFECT. I just wanna get this over with and enjoy using it.
Still looking for helps.....
Galaxy Grand Quattro: battery is fine, just the prob is with the indicator
Galaxy Grand Quattro : while charging it suddenly jumps from 78% to 100% and asks to unplug the charger. When i unplug it it shows 78 or 80% back again !!! I believe that this is related to software issue. So i have done a factory reset, but no use. someone pls help if this is a known issue.. Googled abt it but dint fine anything there.. Thanx in advance.

[SOLVED] Incorrect Battery Values

This seems to be quite a common and somewhat obscure at the same time.
Many people have reported installing a new rom or even just powering up their phone and seeing a battery % much different from what they expect. Most often much lower than it should be. Evidently this corrects itself after some time but it's a real problem if your display reads <15% because you really have to plug it in then, even with you know you have 90% battery!
So, here's the solution after testing it under different circumstances over a few days:
Simply boot your phone when it is not plugged in to a power source and battery % will be accurate.
That simple. Silly LG!
So, if you flash a new rom, unplug the USB cable before you reboot...
Hit 'Thanks' below for the 50 reboots I did to prove this...
hehehe jups allready figured that out on myself tho haha. But indeed that's kinda silly of LG

Sorry to say the same..
Even while charging with the phone shut down, pulling it off the charger and then booting this happens. On my phone I have experienced it on all MCR's.
It's really not a big deal as long as the battery performs as Stock 10b, that build has been stable batterywise on my phone. But staying stock isn't too much fun
Well, every time I charge, whether I reboot/shut down before unplugging or not, my charge always maxes out at 96%.
Annoying and I'd like it sorted if at all possible.
Anyone?..........lol

ye i got that exact same issue i was wondering why that was happening and hoped that a simple reboot would fix it but its a bit more complicated than that i suppose...
also the battery reset in cwm didnt fix the loading till 97% w/e percentage.
when i install the stock rom it allows me to load it till 100% though pretty weird stuff -.-

I had a replacement netbook battery that could only max to 90%. So, over the weekend, I practically drained it to 0% (not a healthy practice for Li-ion batteries but I was desperate). Took out the battery for a while, and then recharged for several hours. Well, it seems to get up to 100% now.
Perhaps you could try using the the phone until it very low on battery before recharging. Maybe the charging process in the phone needs some sort of recalibration. But should not be doing this all the time as it will reduce Li-ion battery longevity.
Let mine totally die last night so it wouldn't even turn on at all. Took out and replaced battery and then charged it overnight and hey-presto, when I unplugged it this morning, it stayed at 100%.
Solved indeed....for me anyway. Feel free to try the same and post your results.

I'll be sure to try your tip man. But not easy drain it completely when I always need the phone :=)
I guys! I've got the same problem.
I think that it could depend on the "full battery popup FIX" that Paul introduced in his roms by the FR8.
So I would like to ask Paul if you can create a patch to remove that fix. Just to try it!
According to me, incorrect battery amount depend on a wrong voltage read error (offset introduced?) by the rom.
In my case, I have followed many times battery wype procedure without positive issue. The matter leaves only by flashing original roms.
I think that if Paul have written a wrong battery values range (to delete the battery full popup) that can be traduced in an incorrect battery status displays.

It was occurring before Paul introduced that change unfortunately...
After I wrote here, I registered a premium account to Paul's from modaco site and toke a custom fr12 rom without "battery full popup remove patch". Now I'm going to sleep and plugin the 2x to charge. Tomorrow I'll write here if is that the solution...

Perhaps, but you can not conclude it was introduced by MCR. You logic is wrong there.
Even without "battery full popup fix" it doesn't work good...
Battery level, when unpluged, stay at 100% for 2 minutes afterwards drop down fast until 85% then drain normally...
I'm getting huge battery display problems no matter what I do.
When I took it off the charger this morning, it said I had 100%... thats fair enough. However it stayed at 100% all day, so to "refresh" it this evening I restarted the phone, and low and behold it now says I have 27% left. But again, it's just sticking at that value, even with me now plugging the phone into the wall to charge. It simply says "Charging (27%)" and won't budge, likely until I restart the phone again.
Sometimes it works fine, it seemed to be doing ok last night before I put it on the charger. Any tips/suggestions? Is this something likely to be fixed when the Gingerbread update rolls around?
This is my first real smartphone, and am fairly annoyed as its giving me a fair few problems that I've not had from other electronic devices.
As I stated in another thread, I had the same issue while on MoDaCo Fr12. However, after reverting back to stock, the battery percentage is spot-on and I'm getting up to 48 hours use out of it.
Draw your own conclusions.

That sounds super, but I'm still on stock too. About the only things of note I've done are root and switching to Launcher Pro. Oh, and Clockwork Mod of course. Perhaps a complete reboot is needed, we'll see how it goes.
Saying that - since charging, my phone has been at 90% all evening, until right this moment when it changed to 89%. It's less than I'd expect on this type of phone for 3-4 hours use (or lack thereof, I've barely touched it), but it's a start eh?
Welcome to the world of smartphones my friend. I've had various handsets over the last 4 years from iphone to android and a day and a half out of the battery is about average......at best. ;-)

Just to clarify, what I meant in my previous post was that I was expecting to battery to drop a lot more than it did. The fact that it only went down 1% in several hours of use prompted me to think that the battery value was messed up.
As it is, I've not charged my phone in the 36 hours since, and it tells me I have 73% battery left. Perhaps it is performing extremely well after all? If that's the case then I'm more than happy with it, but being the pessimist I'm still expecting the phone to turn off sometime with the battery reporting incorrect values.

with charger in 100% charger out 97% recently

did not have this problem befor flashin jvs but now when im charging it indicates 100% battery and directly when i unplug it it goes down to 97 did not do this before flashin 2.3.5 and I even flashed 2.3.4 now! I managed to get 98 by disconnecting and connecting charger many times. Why?
I have darky's 10.2 Exrtreme or final - can't remember
I have the same problem. But even worse mine sometimes only charges to 60 or 65%. I can get a full charge after several unplugs and re-plug but it takes a while.
The big problem is once it fully charges it seems like the phone stops charging completely and then begins to drain out - should it not maintain the full charge even if left charging at full?
Any help please.
Thanks

I did some more reading. Apparently my problem is a bug with respect to SGS and gingerbread. Once the phone reaches full charge - it stops charging and even though its still plugged in. At this point the phone drains (presumably like normal depending on what you have running in background).
At this point the only fix is to flash back to froyo or I think charging the phone while powered off would work too. Not much of a fix but at least when I wake up in the morning its fully charged.
For others with the same problem as me see this thread:

If anyone else has a better alternative I am all ears.

again .. galaxy note battery

This is my first post here. Am kinda new to the forum
Well, i know this issue have been said over and over. But i didn't get anything out of other threads
I have my new gnote on stock ICS for 6 weeks now. It's battery drain rate was about 1 % every 5 minutes on browsing. Then one day i installed game "angry gran 2" from 1mobile market, because it said on playstore not available for ur country. And since that moment the battery went crazy. Drain 1 % every 2 or 3 minutes. I uninstalled it a day later and the problem is still there. This was about 10 days ago
I checked running apps nothing is different than normal
I dunt use face book app
I uninstalled samsung push service
GPS and location services are always off
The mobile goes into deep sleep very well no problem with that acc to CPU spy. The processor which usually works is 200 mhz then sometomes 1200 mhz
All settings since the day i bought it are set to save energy "lowest brightness, sync is off .... Etc."
Now the battery does not work notmally unless every charge i remove the battery for few minutes and put it back' i did this today before i turn off my phone battery was 92 % remived battery put it back and it's 87% ! :S
Yester day about twice after going to sleep i find batter increased 1%
Can you help me please to spot where the problem is ?
I have better battery stats but i dunt understand it
And one more question please, does having large number of apps even if not running in the background cause battery drain ?
Thanks all will greatly appreciate any help
+1 on that. My note's battery runs really fast and I'm not even using it for hardcore gaming. The battery gets really hot at times too.

Hi! Once I had a similar battery issue, but in my case it was after flashing a custom rom. Battery started draining much faster than usual. And sometimes battery percentage jumped up too. Have you tried to remove/insert battery, then fully charge your phone and when fully charged run "Battery Calibration" app from Play Store? Have a feeling it's not the solution for your battery issue, maybe a long shot, but still maybe worth a try if you haven't done that already?

There's no such thing as battery calibration apps, it's a con, you just put them through a few cycles and they're fully charged, modifying the battery stats does nothing for the use of the physical battery.

That is correct. The name of the app might be misleading. It does not do anything to the battery's physical condition at all.
The problem I had was that my "battery" suddenly started to drain very fast according to the battery icon in status bar. It dropped about 1%/min during screen off, and even faster with screen on. I charged my phone to 100% about 6 or 7 times. But as soon as I unplugged the cable I had that very quick drain. I guess the battery itself had much more capacity left than shown, it is in good condition... but that didn't help me because my note turned off when the battery icon showed it was low on % and I had to start charging again. Then I ran this app, which only thing it does is to simply delete batterystats.bin file if I understand it correctly. I don't know much about these stuff, but after that the usage time of my phone is back to normal again

I just had a look at Play Store and all the apps I saw that does remove batterystats seem to need root. Probably it is a system file you can't touch without root access then Also, the battery issue you have might be caused by something else.

Well i wish it can be solved this way ... Coz other option am.gonna take is downgrading to GB then factory reset as i understood this won't brick my phone if I got it carrectly
May be it's calibration thing ... Check the attatched photo the batteru since 3 a.m. To 9 a.m. Is almost at same level or increasing .. Maybe it's some kinda of system calibratoon of battery indicator against battery fast drain while working .. I dunt know
In system settings > battery: what is reported there?
Have you tried boot in "safe mode" to see if it still drain the same way? It will exclude most of user installed stuff as your downloaded apps and such from running.
But remember you might loose some user settings on your phone when booting normal again after safe mode.

although battery calibration app does nothing to do the battery hardware, but it does calibrate on how the battery percentage is being read by your phone. It wiped your battery status, allowing 100% charged to be read as 100% charged. sometimes, due to various reason (ie. flashing without fully charging), your battery status will be inaccurately read by your phone. For example, you charge your phone upto 2000, havent completely charged to the max capacity (2500) but the phone already read 2000 as 100%. and because of this, it will look like your battery drain really fast or the percentage jumping up and down. i guess.
wiping battery status requires you to have root access. thus, this app will only work when you have rooted your phone.
it is true that after a few cycles (not sure how many times) of charging the battery status may go back normal but hey, if we can make sure to do this calibration with only one cycle, why we have to do more?

For example, you charge your phone upto 2000, havent completely charged to the max capacity (2500) but the phone already read 2000 as 100%. and because of this, it will look like your battery drain really fast or the percentage jumping up and down. i guess.
wiping battery status requires you to have root access. thus, this app will only work when you have rooted your phone.
it is true that after a few cycles (not sure how many times) of charging the battery status may go back normal but hey, if we can make sure to do this calibration with only one cycle, why we have to do more?

My battery is crazy. Yep in deep sleep some times it increase 1 % .... On the other hand while working with the phone it drains very rabidly at a rate 3-3.5 % per minute .... Either on wifi or not ... It's normal rate used to be 5 % per minute till the day iinstalled that game and the problem persists even after i removed it
As for the explanation in the thread ptovided it does not make sense to me .. Because every time the battery jumps up the battery drain becomes soooooo rapid afterwards

Have you tried boot in "safe mode" to see if it still drain the same way? It will exclude most of user installed stuff as your downloaded apps and such from running.
But remember you might loose some user settings on your phone when booting normal again after safe mode.

I was trying to find a way to root my phone but i can't find any data on the web ! For some reason that way of rooting tgat was on xda deleted ...
But I have a question ... I always wait rill my phone completely empty and charge it till completely full ... I leave it in the plug about an hour till the complete sign shows in notification bar
Does this mean that way that my battery is already calibrated and i shouldn't try to bother to root the phone and get the app ?

There's Dr ketans thread on rooting in the stickies of development section, it's very simple.
After 1 or two full charge cycles, the battery will recalibrate itself, no need for any app, they don't do anything anyway.

I tried safe mode .. And yeah performance is a little better though still not like before .. it bought me an extra minute per 1% drain .. So i dunt know what that says ? I checked running processes the only difference that facebook and avast antivirus dunt run in safe mode .. Which were probably always there since i got the phone nothing new..
Hello everyone, need some advice. I am unable to know if my battery is functioning normal or should i get it replaced. Please see the atached picture. You will see that my battery draining off within 4hrs with 2G data on. It has been happening from past 2 weeks. Just want to know if it is normal on 2G. Or should i get my battery replaced with a new one. I have read somewhere that with 2G battery of Galaxy Note lasts for about 6 to 7 hrs. Mine goes for just 4 hrs max.
Few details about my usage:
1. Data sync is not on all the time. But for every half an hour i keep data sync on for 30 for 40 seconds max to retrive mails.
2. I dont not watch any videos, online or on mobile.
3. I dont play games at all though i have around 20 games bcoz of this poor battery life.
4. I do not do video calling.
5. With the above usage and little bit of online videos using wifi, I get around 3 to 4 hrs of battery life.

Just flash the stock firmware and kernel, and see if it solves the problem. If not then you have a dead battery on your hands.
I also have the same problem, it also seems to happen at 30 percent. I'm pretty sure we need to change our battery

Well its the easiest way to see if it is rom/kernel related or if something is wrong with the hardware.

ok thank you. just one more question just to be safe, should i just download the firmware from sammobile and flash via odin in download mode right?
and another fellow here advised me to calibrate my battery to check if its hardware or software. he told me to charge to 100% and delete this file data/ system / and delete BatteryStats.bin use to 0% and then charge 100%. should i do it before going stock or not?
had the same issue a few days back (f2 stock rom and kernel), battery dropped from 17% to 0 within a few seconds.
but this occured only once, the next cycle was ok, so i guess it was a calibration issue!

Easiest to try battery calibration first. If that doesn't work after a couple of cycles then just flash the stock rom from Sammobile using Odin.

ok thank you guys, i guess i just have a ****ty life and very very ****ty luck happens to every phone tablet i buy. FML
There are 3 possible reasons this happens - broken phone, broken battery or software problem.
I think the first one is unlikely so you need to figure out which of the last 2 is.
Make a back up of your current rom and install an official TW software. If this still doesnt fix your problem, its most likely the battery. A new genuine battery is around 20$.
PS - i think that the battery stats bin file is automatically deleted once you fully charge the battery anyway but you can still try it altough i doubt it will fix it.

same problem here
And here.
This is typical of a dead battery. Your best bet is to buy a new one.
Less than a year is short but not unheard of. Overheating (especially when 100% full), deep discharge, very intensive use (especially with quick charging) and manufacturing defects all can kill a battery.
I'm on CM12.1 with this problem. I've tried battery calibration and tried a new battery but its still apparent.
Will be trying a factory reset as my last resort.
This is happening to 2 phones in my household it started after the upgrade to 5.0.1 one note is Tmobile the other sprint....highly doubt we both developed battery problems RIGHT after we both ota upgraded.
Same here at ~13%.
I do always either fast charge or QI charge.
So far I've tried:
- Battery calibration
- Bought new battery
- Factory reset
Still happens!!
Maybe I'll try TW flash or modem change
Weird, I have this exact same problem as the original post. I'm running BOC5 on the 9105. It's a sporadic problem only occurring on occasion

I've been running Lollipop for ages until this problem happened. Frankly, I still prefer Lollipop with this problem.
