[Q] jb wifi issue

Hello everyone I have installed the rom Jelly bean http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2401758 everything works, except the wifi I can not connect to your home network(authentication in progress, but does not connect). Can someone help me?

Maybe it cuzed by SIM like my problem so try wifix program on play store and turn wifi off install it(the patch inside) then reboot phone after reboot click on box wfi country us then try turn wifi on

Wifi not working after insatlling this custom Kernel

I flashed an custom kernel it is compatible with the stock.(It is for CM13 so the dev said it must work for stock too).My phone boosted up but wifi is not working .I cant even turn on the wifi .IT is not toggling at all.
Studied some posts,thinking i need to flash up some extra files.If anyone knows how to solve this please help...

Custom ROM WIFI won't auto connect

Hello, i'm experiencing issue with wifi.
The AP's are detected, but system is not auto connecting to them.
I must click on connect, then phone associates with AP and everything is OK.
I tried forget network, but it did not help.
My ROM is AospExtended-v4.4-OFFICIAL, Android 7.1.2 (I tried latest LineageOS, but the issue persisted).
Phone Lenovo A7000-a.
In Lenovo stock ROM (Android 6) phone auto connected within a few seconds.
How should i fix this?

You think it's you who is supposed to fix it?
It's a ROM bug. How are you supposed to fix it on your own?
We devs need to do it. And currently we don't plan to.
By providing custom roms to you guys for free, and wasting our time, we are already doing so much for you. If you enjoy so many things in a custom rom like that, then you should also prepare for facing bugs. That one is very very minor.
Also, comparing custom roms to stock roms is a cyber crime.

Which is the fastest booting custom ROM? Even if it's an old one?

The SIM card is no longer detected on my Redmi 4, only WiFi is working, so I'm planning to use it as an Android Auto only device on my car. But the problem is that the default MIUI Rom is taking a ages to boot, even there's no extra app installed. So is there any fast booting custom ROM for this device and need to handle only the Maps and Android Auto app? Minimal or no extra features is needed.

XT1925-4 wifi problem please help

Hello guys im new here and i tried lot of things to repair my wfi problem.
So its my mom phone and one day she called me about selfrestart phone in night and there was image of bootloader and startup failed.
So after classic factory reset and etc my wifi still not working. The problem is i cant connect to any wifi. I can scan it but wont connect just say disabled or saved but not connection.
After this i tried flash stockroom succesfully after 2 days of hard work So i flash stock room but the problem is still there so im not sure what can i do anymore. If i can try flash some newer rom or custom rom or its just hardware failure? has anyone have problem like this? All others things work normal like data connections etc. Sorry for my english
1. update so i flashed another lineage room just in case and still not working.
2. i notice in system information that wifi mac adress is 0d:00:00:00:00:00 so can be hardware failure probably.
3. Hotspot wifi is working so i can connect from another mobile to the broken wifi mobile
