I'm not getting VoWifi since the 4.03 update.. anyone else?
Tmobile US.
I've always had trouble at work, but it always worked at home.. seems to have stopped working @ home now too since I applied 4.0.3.
Curious to see if anyone else is having the same or different results.
thanks,
Mike
Was it ever there to begin with? I never got VoWifi to work
I have the same issue. I was able to get it working again but I needed to disable VoLTE and VoWiFi then reboot. Just enable VoWiFi and it seems to work now. Has for a couple days. For me WiFi calling was much more important than VoLTE. Hopefully the next release fixes it.

I had the same issue Mike my phone was rooted running 4.0.2 and after flashing the 4.0.3 Through freedomos vowifi and volte stopped working, today I flash the OTA update 4.0.3 from the official 1+ web and I totally back to stock with stock recovery including, vowifi and volte working fine now and still working after rerooting
it works great for me... VoLTE and also VoWifi for Tmobile US. However, I think if you use unlocked bootloader and custom OOS roms, those might break the VoLTE and VoWifi features. Therefore now, i am back to stock, i need those more.

Nevermind I just checked my settings and realized they're both disabled. it works but keeps switching between VoLTE and VoWIFI
okay.. let me try to unlock and root it again. Maybe cause of the custom Rom? FreedomOS?
UPDATE: WiFi calling on T-Mobile US is working after complete wipe and factory data reset.
I just got Oneplus 3T 5 days ago and not able to make WiFi calling works on T-Mobile US with Oxygen OS 4.0.3. I tried turning off VoLTE and WiFi Calling and then reboot, then turn on WiFi calling only as suggested in above post. It didn't work for me. Any other suggestion that I should try? Was it working on 4.0.2?
mine works fine on 4.0.3.. may be go to APN setting and reset to default and try again.
okay so my bootloader is unlocked and i was on stock rom, no root, vowifi works fine and i see the logo.
I installed supersu and i do not have vowifi logo anymore even tho it's enabled.
Does that mean that i'm not getting wifi calling?
I'm on freedomrom now, with T-Mobile US LTE APN selected and same behavior, vowifi is enabled but no logo

did you relock your bootloader?
I'm trying to figure out WTH, i stayed on stock rom rooted\with unlocked bootloader and TWRP for 2 full days and did not get a single icon for vowifi, any way i can verify i have it and it works?
4.0.3 Rooted with SuperSU, unlocked Bootloader, Franco Kernel (was working with the Stock Kernel)
Wifi Calling is working (with the logo showing, see attachment)
I can't seem to get it to work at all anymore..
unlocked bootloader, but never rooted, stock 4.0.3.
Last time I could get it to work by rebooting the phone.. but now that doesn't even work. I even have a Tmo supplied router (the AC1900 one) at home.
I am also getting constant MMS errors with 4.0.3 when I have Wifi enabled.
Sounds like I need to find time to save everything off and wipe the phone. Grrr.

Since US Cellular Stock ROM is not available, I flashed my tablet with CyanogenMod, the one for SCH-I905 Verizon (wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_p4vzw). It worked great : no more bloatware; no more scrolling screens; wifi connectivity came back (lost during rooting trials). You have to update the kernel as well (github.com/cyanogenmod/android_kernel_samsung_p4). Google PlayStore needs to be updated too with GAPPS 4.2 (wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Gapps).

No Knock code... No visible changes from 25B
It's true. I just got the ota tonight
I think its true.
But diff binary file size just only 13.4 Mb.
It just seems from 25B's few minor or critical bug patch internally.
As a note, I got a new device today that shipped with it. No root methods are currently working. Going to see if I can roll back via kdz and root from there.
EDIT: rolling back via KDZ and then using towelroot worked
At least they're updating the phone and paying attention. I'd like to know if there's a soak test just like motorola has.

I went back to 24a via KDZ rooted and now I'm on 25b. I would guess since I was able to revert root should stick but I guess time will tell. I don't think there is a 26a flashable zip yet anyway.
Don't worry guys, I'm sure we'll get knock code by 100b lol. In all honesty though I'm glad verizon's updating this. It makes me think we have a good likelihood of getting the g3 ui update later this year and then android l in 2015.
I got the update notification last night / this morning.
I haven't tried to update to 26A yet (currently on 25B) but I am rooted + Exposed + DPI @ 400. I think the DPI is the only thing that causes the updates to fail. I'll test and report back.
***Update***
Yup. I just installed TexDroider and reverted back to 480 DPI and the update is installing as we speak. Good info for those who mod. I never manually removed any Stock Verizon APK packages but I have many of them disabled. I've heard the Verizon Tether apk mod will break updates too.
I'm on 26A now. Looking for a way to root and mod the hotspot apk. Anyone been able to do this yet?

Gotta roll back to 24A or older, root it, leave the factory recovery then take the updates again to keep root.

I noticed on 25B, when I enable VoLTE, my sound quality on regular calls is horrible, wonder if this quick turn around was to fix that... I haven't tried it yet, waiting on an update to the rom I use.
I rooted on 24A. Got the hotspot hack working. Successfully updated to 25B and now 26A, with root preserved. Had to restore the original hotspot files first before updating. Hotspot hack still works in 26A.
I believe 26A gets Voice over LTE to work correctly. Will give that a try, once I figure out who also has that feature running on his/her phone. So far, only LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are supported.

I had to turn that half baked crap off since enabling HD voice on my account broke reception of caller ID from certain numbers (specifically my office). I had noticed a poor call quality (worse than the normally poor quality) but I had attributed it to poor reception.

So I'm on 26A and the LG Keyboard has a lot of buggy problems. I'll be typing and then it will randomly type a letter or two a lot of times. I know this isn't a problem with my touch screen because when I use SwiftKey I have no problems with it. It might just be my phone though.
Got 26A. Installed over 25B no problem. Was on 24A rooted/Xpsoed and went to 25B and subsequently 26A and kept root. Still at 4.4.2. No noticeable difference, but I think the battery life might have been adversely impacted. Debating whether I should do a whole factory reset.
You'd think with 2 update in 1 week, we would at least get 4.4.4 and Knock Code. Jeesh Verizon.

Which version of lollipop are you running?
The kernel you installed is for the wifi only version on 5.1.1.
You shouldn't need to install the kernel if you are on lollipop 5.0.2.
Samsung has not yet released the source code for the LTE models, however I am in the process of modifying the t810 kernel to support LTE which you are welcome to test.
I have built a 5.1.1 kernel for you to test. See if it fixes your LTE issue.

I know this is still being worked on by you, just wondering if this will work for the AT&T version when it's Done? Mine came with 5.1.1 T817a.
I am also willing to test.....I would also be more then happy to donate once root is achived, twrp would be nice, but root is a must.

We're you able to get things working with root yet?
I have root. Because there is no source yet (as far as I know) I used ashyx's permissive kernel for the 810. I have no LTE. I do have a wifi tablet rooted on 5.1.1 with xposed running. I expect someday to get a kernel for 815 or 817 that will work with LTE. I hope.
I don't want to lose my LTE, lol. I'll wait. I'm sure there will be an option eventually.

Why do people never read or make backups before attempting to modify their device?
How many times does have to be said that before undertaking ANY operation that you fully understand what you are doing AND you have a full backup or the stock firmware?
If you are on 5.1.1 you first need to flash a custom kernel.
More info is required, what os build are you running?
I don't know witch os build I'm running. I'm really new at these stuff. I only did it to my two phones and I always follow the instructions here. As soon as I get home I can take a screen shot and show you.
It's quite likely your tablet is running 5.1.1.
You have 2 choices here, flash the custom kernel or flash the stock firmware.
Yes it's 5.11. I just call Samsung and my service provider they both will charge me for replacing the tablet.
Witch one is faster and more reliable. I don't think there's a custom kernel available already

Why do you need to replace the tablet? :what:
If you don't mind losing LTE until Samsung releases the source code for the LTE model then you can flash the t810 kernel below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/kernel-permissive-lollipop-5-1-1-kernel-t3205831
Or return it back to stock by flashing the firmware below with odin:

Follow the instructions on the page to install.

To be honest it might be awhile. With all the security issues around China based products. You can't blame them for not wanting it on those devices.
I have the same issue, I'm waiting on getting my bootloader unlocked then I will stick CM 13.0 on it and see if it works with CloakRoot. If not I will be selling the device as the only reason it isn't rooted and unlocked to this day was specifically for Android Pay.

I guess I'll just have to wait until my bootloader is unlocked, is there any way I can put 7.3.3.0 back on? I currently have the dev ROM
Can't get Android pay to work here on my Mi 5 either. Using the xiaomi.eu multilanguage global rom unlock bootloader, miui 7.2.13.0. Rooted.
Somebody mentioned that it worked on china stable V7.3.3.0 but doesn't work on V7.3.4.0. There is a hope!
It would be better if we could find a way to make it work on dev roms.

Root cloak won't work and if I'm not mistaken your rom is rooted by default and you just have to enable it. So that would prevent it from working at all.
We have success people!
Got Android Pay finally working, unlocked bootloader, V7.3.3.0 works with it and passes SafetyNet.
Steps.
Unlock bootloader
Download Fastboot ROM 7.3.3.0 And restore using Fastboot, tutorial and files can be found online, I can give you link if required but its 3.45am right now so I cant be bothered right now.
Ok so the issue of Ting LTE not working with CM13 ROMS has be bothering me for sometime now but this past weekend I finally found a fix for it.
Just as a side note the ROM I used with this fix was, OctOs Oct-MM R2 but in theory it should work with all CM13 ROMS for the L720. Also the tool I used is NOT MY WORK! It is the work of xda user, Deega and Buzbe2. I take no credit.
This fix requires the MVNO Slayer tool by Deega and Buzbe2 to work.

These are the exact steps I took to flash the ROM and get data up and running.
1. Flash the CM13 ROM in twrp. (May work with CWM but i have not tested)
2. Without rebooting flash Gapps.
3. Reboot the device.
4. Once the device boots set up the device and wait for it to connect the cell tower. At this time you will not have data of any kind.
5. Reboot to recovery once more and flash MVNO Slayer. You must flash Buzbez2's version if you want Ting LTE.
6. Select the MVNO you wish and reboot.
7. Enjoy fully working LTE.

Worked for me, thanks!
I started at step 5 because I have been using CM13 for a few days already. My cellular network said “Sprint” and I could make and receive calls and texts but did not have LTE. Then I did steps 5 and 6 in this post and now my cellular network says “Ting” and LTE is working.

Just out of curiosity,
Will this work with boost mobile phones? Sorry if it seems like a dumb question but I am new to all of this and started learning about ROMs last December.
Also will this work with Resurrection Remix 7.1 rom? I dont really know if it is CM13 or not?

Welcome to the world of Android. Yes this should work with Boot Mobile and in theory it will work on Resurrection Remix even though it's not cm 13 but I've not personally tested it

Could you please test it?!? I am actually testing it with Octo-N and it doesn't seem to be working. Thank you in advance
I just installed this for OctO-N on my sph720t. In SIM status it still says Sprint. I am a Ting user. Should I clear the cache or dalvik before installing the MVNOBuzbee zip?
How do you chose your mvno in step 6? Im still new to android modding

When you begin the installation a pop up on TWRP will appear and give you multiple options of cellular company towers and when you pick it, it will continue the installation of MVNO.

That's weird when I did that no pop up popped up. I'll make sure TWRP is up to date and try again.

This might be something bigger than just this file too. I remember the aroma version of Gapps not working for me, and that uses a gui to install the individual apps

Try also getting the latest gapps because I tried a new ROM and it wouldn't work on my older gapps till I updated.
trying to install mvno slavyer made twrp freeze. It then rebooted into my custom rom without showing a menu. According to this some of the new TWRPs have issues with the aroma installer, I'll try an old one https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...hable-lte-fix-moto-e-6-x-boost-t3290719/page6
What phone and ROM are you trying to do and what android version u gonna use?
THANK YOU
Alright so I found out the issue and fixed it. My current version of TWRP didn't work with aroma installers. I regressed to version 3.0, did the steps, and now it works. Thanks man, I've been working on this for like a week

I just solved this but since you're curious
SM - G900P (Samsung Galaxy S5)
They'll both be on nougat
Resurrection Remix or Cyanogen 14.1, gonna go install the latter and see how it fares (I know there's Lineage now but last I checked there were only nightly builds for my phone, not stable)
Oh in that case, I want to suggest a ROM that I'm using. It is amazing and runs better but RR has amazing customization unlike JDCteam LineageOS. But it is highly optimized.
Yeah I'm currently using Lineage, had too many issues with RR. However, one issue im still having is the inability to send text messages. Everything else works, but I just can't send them. I've been looking for other fixes, but I can't find any specifically for ting. Have you guys had any luck?
