Hi guys, I just installed pixel launcher on my P9 (Emui 5.0 B378) and I have 2 questions:
- How do I get pixel icons? The rounded ones
- How do I set live wallpapers on lockscreen as well? Having 2 different things sucks, I want the same live wallpaper on both lockscreen and home..

Live wallpaper you need to do through the EMUI theme app. As for the round pixel icons I don't think pixel launcher let's you change the icons, your best bet would be to download nova launcher and download a pixel icon pack, there are loads of tutorials out there on how to make nova launcher look and feel like pixel launcher!

I cannot change the lockscreen wallpaper with the Google live wallpaper.. It only works for home screen.. On my nexus it changed both
Yeah, I'm not sure how to do that, I have the same problem!, I think it may be a EMUI 5 problem, or maybe huawei's way of trying to save battery. Anyone else know any work arounds?

download a different launcher... launchers are the general GUI for your phone....
Most people use either ADW Launcher or I prefer Launcher pro (i have the plus edition for the extra little widgets)
I would recommend you try Launcher pro first, its a little more polished in my opinion... ADW is an open source launcher and i think it has a lot of short comings and more bugs...
Yep. LP or ADW is what you need. You can theme both as well to change the dock graphics. I, too, prefer LP
LauncherPro is the best one.

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to replicate touchwiz 4 on my android powered HD2;
i dont use touchwiz 4.5 by Fr4gg0t cause it too unstable for daily use,so what i'm trying to accomplish is a closed imitation of that UI.
Atm i have 2 ways of doing it
1-Using launcher pro plus with it's widgets themed with launcher pro corporate theme (1&2),beautiful widget pro.
cons: there is no way to make the drawer scroll orizzontally
2-using ADW EX,android pro widgets (in simple b&w theme) again beautiful widget and minimal reader pro with sqaured widgets.
cons:it just look not properly..right!
so right to the question:do you guys know any other squared widget that can be "touhwiz 4-like"?is there any way to get a properly spaced) 4 icons dock on adw-ex or lpp?

I don't really understand what you actually want. Give me more details and maybe I can help.
As of 4 icons dock, I believe MIUI ROM and Sony Ericsson Home use 4 icons dock (search the forums).

I know what he means I like the touch wiz ui. I would love to have a nice theme for adw.ex launcher if possible. Does anybody know of any? Free would be preferred price range.
I just barely got the Nexus 7 and I have never used android devices before. I have seen images of people who have a pretty sweet set up and others who totally demolished it. Can anyone give me ideas on what widgets to get, how I can customize? Now ideas on how to but what programs will let me do that.

Beautiful widgets has some pretty decent weather and clock widgets.
Nova launcher was the first thing I added.
buy beautiful widgets or hd widgets. if you want to further tink with it download a launcher such as nova. with a launcher you will have alot more control over the appearance of your app folder etc.
I am getting tired of annoying features of the Sony launcher, like "suggested apps" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/how-to-remove-search-bar-xperia-home-t3355603).
I'd love to get some opinions about alternative launchers with the following attributes:
* simple, uncluttered, minimalist appearance
* customizable, to make it even simpler
* esthetically clean and elegant (no graphic or color overload)
You get the idea!

+1 on nova launcher, been using it for years now.
Another vote for Nova.
Nova is nice, but Apex launcher has nearly identical features without requiring upgrades to the paid app. Plus, I think it's just a hair lighter on system resources.

the launcher itself is great, only a few things, which are editable ( Disappear for example ) are needed. Tried the google now launcher and apex and were disappointed so i decided to mod the stock launcher to my wish

Actually, when you dont know how to edit apks its the easiest way to use serjars xposed module ( Dont got the link right know, have to look it up and edit it in ) Requires root and a working recovery
Makes the whole appearence editable ( Icon Numbers in the Home Dock, Grid sizes and dont know what else.
Even the app suggestions are stuck in the past.

Whats crazy... I got the same wallpaper... I live that new live wallpaper....Seems much more battery friendly
My autumn setup for a while! Also have reddish orange accents for the quick toggles and settings to match the wall paper!
