Hi !
I'm trying to open an app I use very often over the lockscreen (witout having to unlock my device) for quick access.
Any idea?
I'm root and have xposed installed

Hi,
I have a HTC One running ARHD 20.1 Rom. I recently installed the "HideYourRoot" (previously called Hide My Root) app on to my phone. I used the Hide Root feature on the app so the root was hidden. I later uninstalled the app forgetting to change it back to "Hide Unroot" and now i have lost my root access and apps that require root will no longer work. I have tried installing the app again and changing settings to "Unhide root", however that did not work.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I would try this:

Hi is it possible to unroot the z1 only to be able to use an app that controls for root and doesn't work with root?
Not sure I got this - so you have an app that checks for root access and doesn't want to run if root is available? May I ask what app that is?
I'm not an expert, but have you tried disabling superuser access in SuperSU/Superuser? Although I guess that might not be enough.
In my case it's timvision. It's an Italian app to watch movies. As I start the movie playback it tells me it can't be played due to root. I tried to uncheck the option in supersu but it doesn't work.
i think what you are searching is an app called rootcloak
you can select for which app you dont want to show that you are rooted :good:
App tried but didn't work.
I'm afraid solution is complete unroot, I'm Italian too (hi there ), and when I try to use sky go it blocks some functions because of root
When you have disabled the option in supersu then clear cache and data on the app you want to use and try again
i installed some themes to change the navigation button it says it requires root access and i`m rooted already but i get no promt msg when i apply and it almost changes nothing but wallpaper and lock wallpaper any idea?

You must have root access for installing the patched services.jar in your system, for disabling the signatures checking, a.k.a the superuser mod
Hi all, first sorry for My bad english
i have just found a trick for use xposed (not all xposed app works but some app perfectly works, same for root app)
My p9 was rooted an twrp installed, i installed all app i need with root an xposed, do a backup with huawei backup app. Flash stock recovery and make factory reset.
When i restore all My app and app's settings, some of my root app and xposed works without root
For exemple : emoji switcher, flat style colored bar, force touch detector works perfectly
Does is it a bypass method ?
EDIT : i try with full flash dload method and it's doesn't works
its because Xposed can work without root
Anyway to hide root? Magisk has the option but it seems some apps still know my phone is rooted.
Thanks guys.

Click to collapse
That's the only option I think, just toggle hide on the individual apps and hope for the best
If simply toggling the specific app under "Magisk Hide" doesn't work, you can always take the extra step of "Hiding Magisk Manager" which is found under the settings menu. That will help hide root for apps that take the extra step of searching for the Magisk Manager app as a way of detecting root.
I've found that sometimes you have to clear the app data for the app that still sees root after you've hidden it in magisk.
Thanks guys. Gave these a shot but no luck unfortunately. It's only one app. My carrier app detects that I have a 'jaikbroken' device and won't continue lol. It couldn't search for and unlocked bootloader could it?
