Hi everyone, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has various variants as I8190/I8190L that have 4.1.2 how latest version. Exists another variant SM-G730A that has Android Kitkat 4.4.4. The hardware of these devices is very similar.
It's possible carry the ROM 4.4.4 to the I8190x devices?

Maybe you can try to port it by cyanogenmod11 for the base.

I have been looking for a kitkat custom rom for SIII mini but all what I found was for other versions and I couldn't find anything for gt-I8200.
Hi, I have an important question about compatibility. So, the question is if CyanogeMod 11 (4.4 KitKat) is compatible with my phone(S3 Mini i8200N)? Obiously I don't want to brick my phone. If it's compatible with my phone, will it be slower? or will it work the same? or better?

As far as I know, there is no KitKat-Rom for our device. There arn't even CM-Roms.

A few weeks ago I found my old S3 mini again and saw it was still running 4.1.2. I wanted to upgrde to a Samsung based Custom Rom, but there are just a few that are also based on 4.1.2. So, I thought of creating a new Samsung based Rom and experimented a little bit.
I made a very fast&fluent S5 Rom for our S3 mini, based on Android 4.4.4 (Cyanogenmod 11). It is not just an applied theme, but also some modified system files. Just look at the screenshots I also posted and tell me your thoughts. If you want this Rom, I can upload it.

I am working on eliminating the bugs.. The Rom will be released towards the end of 2019.

I am considering using my S3 Mini (I8200N) again. I want to load a custom rom. Unfortunately I can't find any custom roms for the model number. does anyone know if there are custom roms and which ones are still recommended?
