Hi Guys,
I have bricked my P9 mobile without having my bootloader unlocked.
I tried to get my bootloader unlock code from Huawei website "https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/detail"
But, unfortunately, failed due to not having the "Product ID No." which you can't get unless you enter a dialer code (of course in unbricked phone)
So, I searched the internet and found a video by "Rootjunky.com" getting huawei P8 lite product ID without using the dialer
this is the link of the video "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63L7FBuWFrc" .. Many thanks to him
However, there is a little bit some maneuver around it and I will explain below
All you need is the mobile serial no. and IMEI from the mobile box and here we are:
1- First Step:
In the Product ID generator program use "HUAWEI Y300-0100" instead of "HUAWEI Y300-0000", then your mobile IMEI no. to get the product ID.
2- Second Step:
Go to Huawei website and choose bootloader section and after signing the agreement:
a- Choose before EMUI5.0
b- Smartphone
c- Model: HUAWEI Y300-0100
d- Your Mobile serial no. (AND NOT THAT OF THE HUAWEI Y300-0100 HE USED IN THE VIDEO"
e- Your Mobile IMEI no.
f- The Product ID you get from Huawei Product ID generator
And that's it.
Again, many many thanks goes to Rootjunky.com
Your a absolutely amazing lifesaver !!!!
I thought I was doomed, but you got my p9 a unlock code
Interesting, I have ok my phone, but I test your procedure.
The original Product ID from the phone (dial *#*#1357946#*#*) is different from the Product ID tool, but works in the Huawei Web Site. I get the same unlock code, with original Product ID and Product ID tool.
To generate unlock code, use only the IMEI and Serial number. The other info must be to validate, then, It works.
One more thing, works with others models, example: HUAWEI Y300-0000.
Hello,
please help, i have a briked Mate 9 and i didn't find out the correct product model to generate a correct Product ID.
thank you.
This does NOT work on my P9. Actually it also doesn´t make sense - if it would work. Because it seems that the Webbackend does immediately generate/ calculate the code out of these 3 elements.
If there is a missmatch code cannot be generated. I tried several methods.
I actually also tried a different Phone - a Nova - that immediately worked out with correct Product ID.

This is a guide to get the unlock code from Huawei without sending an e-mail or posting in their official forum.
I tried it and it works perfectly!!!
1- Go to http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
2- Enter using Facebook account. All other methods will fail, but you can try if you want.
3- Fill out the form.
4- In "Product type" put "Smartphone"
5- In "Product model put "Huawei Y300-0000" (use this as ALE-L21 is not listed BUT It will work!)
6- In "Product Serial number" put the serial number you have on your phone. (Settings - About phone - State).
7- In "Product IMEI / MEID" put the IMEI you have on your phone. (Settings - About phone - State IMEI1, main one).
8- In "Product ID" put what you generates with the following program: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3020890&
9-In "Verification Code" put the verification code that comes in the form to verify that you are human. lol
10-Click on "Submit" and you will get the unlock code below in red.
I have unlocked my Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L21 this way becouse Huawein never replied to my 4-5 e-mails I sent them!

I guess it only works on unlocked (not from an operator) phone.
With mine I got:
"We regret to say that the information you are searching is not found. Pleae mail to [email protected], We'll respond to you as soon as possible, thanks."
That's the email where I've sent several times, for months, with no answer.
Probably some/most operators won't let Huawei give out those codes.
I had to read mine using software.

I don't get but if you have a P8 Lite and you tried this tutorial and sending an email to Huawei without success you have one more option that is the one proposed by Alferboy that is using a software but you'll have to buy some "credits" I think.
Do it from emui Chinese web directly.
It worked for me when I had no more options

There is an easier way to obtain your unlocking code without the serial number generator, you only need the IME number and the SN. And Product ID is not required.
en[dot]club[dot]vmall[dot]com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=33216&highlight=unlock%2Bbootloader
please replace [dot] with . as I am new.
You must sign up with vmall to view the above thread .
The only trick is you must use the Chinese Website for this method to work. Beware, you may get error server not responding is Chinese, just copy and paste in google translator if you unsure. If the server is responding you should get your unlock code immediately.
Hope this helps
How can I check my device bootloader is lock or unlock...? I pressed Volume down and power key to go to fastboot mode but every time it reboot normally...
Hi, to get the bootloader unlock code from huawei, just use the chinese version of the site... that one will give the unlock code on the site. no need toemail huawei for that...
edit: Never mind... someone else already said that....
It's working for all device's, my two was branded with operator surcouche and I have unlock the two device's without any trouble.
Can somebody give link to this chinese version of site, please.

It is for unlocking the bootloader only, it does not effect the carrier.
I have recently flashed one of the nougat Roms and would like to return to the stock from with Android 6.
My phone is a virgin contract phone(with optus boot screen) eva-l09 FCC ID qiseva-l09 I 6369a-eval09.
Can anyone tell me which stock from to get so that things like Android Pay work?
Australian Virgin phone btw
Pleaae, search in the forum, there are some threads about this...
I have searched, there is a thread with a heap of different stock firmwares but I'm unsure which one is right because I flashed the nougat Roms and now I'm unsure of the model number of the phone and I have no backup.
Presumably the model number in the nougat Roms info is wrong, maybe I have cross flashed?

Use the 136 full rom.
https://mega.nz/#!QE4TTSzJ!OjP6yXFtliK4XDRHLNIAKgxpf0gmhEeksDr_fjja0oY
1-. create folder "dload" in your external sdcard. Uncompress the rom zip inside it (one file "UPDATE.APP" and 2 folders: "dt" and "hw")
2-. turn off yout phone
3-. turn it pressing and holding power button + volume up + volume down
wait to restore.
Can you let me know if this works for you, nuttzo?
I've been trying to do the same as you for about a week now, with no progress
OK,ill have to find a different mirror for the file because that mega link seems to not work properly.
Through the phone I've tried downloading the file and both times the file is corrupted despite appearing to download fully.
On the raspberry pi the file stops once it hits 2gb and complains that the file is too big.
Thanks Iomunet but I can't download the file.
Mega sucks,i don't know why people use it.
Try installing mega app or from computer...

I only have a raspberry pi and the Android phone.
Mega sucks and doesn't work on both.
Unfortunately I don't have a Windows PC anymore.
OK I've managed to find another link to the stock ROM and have successfully downgraded back to marshmallow.
Android pay is still not working, any way to fix that?
Also Huawei id doesn't work, something about unable to service region.
Any way to fix these 2 issues?
OK it looks like if I install twrp after unlocking the bootloader I can flash the oeminfo IMG and remove the c900 build number from the phone.
That should get Android Pay working.
Now I have to pay for a bootloader code because I don't have Windows and I can't seem to get it through Huawei because their emails in chinglish are cryptic and the website links are broken.

You still have to unlock the bootloader to flash twrp don't you?
I have the Android and fastboot tools installed in Raspbian but I never checked the OEM unlock option in the developer options.
When I tried flashing twrp before it came up with an error something about unable to write due to permission error.
I assumed it was because the bootloader was locked.
you must unlock your bootloader first, yea. Huawei have a webpage to do it.

Haven't had success with getting to the Huawei page to unlock bootloader.
The closest I got to one I couldn't proceed because it required my mobile number but none of the country codes were from Australia so I couldn't get the SMS.

Thank you for all your help.
You are a stand up guy/gal Iomunet, thanks for helping me.
Do I mark as solved or anything like that?
Just out of curiosity, how was nougat? Why did you switch back?
My current phone is LG G4 and in case of this phone it was easy to find all tutorials and do everything in just a few minutes, in case of P9 the task is harder since 'tutorials' are all over the place, so I've decided to make a forum post about it and ask you guys few questions, I'll grab the phone in question later today or tommorow (Issues at provider's end, so I have to wait till they fix it), so I'm gathering all the information and tutorials so I'll be ready to work with this phone as soon as I get it:
1. What is the difference between obtaining/unlocking the P9 through (free) huawei website and the (paid) DC unlocker?
If I use DC unlocker, will it still make a record in Huawei database or it uses own-generated codes?
2. I do plan to debrand, unlock, TWRP, root (via Magisk) and install systemless Xposed. What would be the latest Open Europe FW that will work with full systemless setup? Can you link me threads/files that I could use to achieve this?
EDIT: I just found out that systemless xposed does not pass safetynet. In that case I'd use regular xposed + rootswitch.
Thanks.
bumping after 24hours and also answering my own (first) question. I talked with support and they use their own generated codes, so there are no traces of my phone being unlocked in Huawei database. The only way of checking it would be checking the device itself.
I'm too much of a newbie to answer your questions in entirety but regarding your first question. I did not think there was any difference EXCEPT that I tried for 2-3 days to get an unlock code through the Huawei website and finally just got fed up with the error codes. So I went to DC Unlocker and got one within 10 minutes. I saw on other threads that Huawei's web site is frequently down and unlock codes are sometimes hard to obtain. So, to me, it was just a matter of convenience. Try Huawei first and if you have trouble just pay the $ for DC-Unlocker. Good to know about the Huawei database because I presume that the unlock code that I received from DC-Unlocker will no longer work a second time (since I have since gone back to stock Marshmallow).
At the time of unlocking/relocking by using ADB/Fastboot, no Internet ad no on-line database is involved:
-You can disconnect PC from LAN/WLAN
-ADB reboots phone to the Fastboot mode
-In Fastboot mode phone is not connected to any network
Fastboot just validates if your code matches IMEI/Device ID of your phone
Keep the code safe, you may need it several times - I already used it three times.
Finally, I didn't pay a cent for the unlocking code, go to Huawei Web site (from PC or force Desktop mode in your mobile browser), provide the required info and get the code immediately - buying DC Unlocker could not be any easier or faster.
It was half a year ago, I recall that EU countries (nor USA, Australia, etc) were oferred, I chose Hong Kong or Singapure since they were available and with English language.
You must only provide an e-mail address about yourself, who cares about your real residence.
Btw, I have two Huawei IDs, one from that Hong Kong (for unlocking) and another registered for my real home country, with two different e-mail addresses but for the same phone
I can login to Huawei ID application on the phone, wiith one or another account, no problem
I dont see any need or advantage in paying to DC Unlocker, but everybody can decide for himself/herself
PS If you are concerned about bringing phone to the Huawei service - they immediately see if Bootloader is unlocked (reboot the phone and read the warranty that your phone is not safe - you can get rid off only if you relock the Bootloader but that will hard-reset the phone again) , they can even inspect if Bootloader was unlocked and relocked, they don't rely on a DB
Thanks for your answer. In the end, i just used dc unlocker and now my phone is working as I intended
The only thing I didn't do was reflashing with another FW, since it looked like unmodified/not-branded FW already (despite getting it from the carrier)
Regarding unlock code source - my point was, even if I relock bootloader and there will be no boot message about that & bootloader will report LOCKED status, they MIGHT check in the db for imei match. And that's what I wanted to avoid. (mentioning this just because DC unlocker can LOCK bootloader, not RE-LOCK.)
Hi there,
I've been searching a method to unlock Huawei’s bootloader without the Huawei’s code and with the phone locked, but I've found nothing.
I wonder if there is a method to restore the system by using a SD card and holding: volume up + volume down + power botton, because the download USB rescue mode is also locked.
I completely rule out the possibility of getting neither the huawei's code nor the access to the current system.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
you cannot unlock the bootloader without the code from huawei (its free, so why not to do it this way).
but i don´t understand what do you want to achieve and where is your problem.

One of the best methods to change the IMEI number is to use a box tool. This is the official method to do. if use some not official tools you have situations to lost the OS on your cell phone. For any brand models, you have different tools. For Samsung you have Z3X and for LG you have Octoplus. But you here can find all full instructions what software to use and how to get for free on UnlockBaseCodes website

You can change your IMEI only for second sim. First sim will be 0 and can not use it. Search Google, you can find Info.
