I just bught the sonyericsson liveView watch
And i am wondoring if there is any app for the watch .

i also have the live view. It used to work on Nexus. Dont know why it doesnt work on note. Gnote doesnt even recognize the device

I can't pair it, the live view can't be found at my bluetooth list lol. But i can see it using g-nexus

Update: It's working.
There's a new update for LV.
Install this program: Click me
And update your LV firmware.
Then connect to ur phone...
can't belive it DOES work lol.
I just can't install plugins, every plugin i download does not show in plugins list

It was made for the sony ericson phones. Use simple gmail if you want to connect your gmail account. As for music , forget it... It only changes the volume.
Oh, and restart the watch after you load a plugin too.

Tizen apps for gear 1?

Has anyone tried installing tizen apps from the Samsung Apps store (start it from the Gear Manager), since they updated their gear1 to run on Tizen?
I'm just wondering if my Multi-Watch app is available for the gear 1 and runs on it withoud problems.

I am unable to see your app in the store for some reason? I would very much like to try it if you could help me please.
I have the gear1 upgraded to tizen within the last hour.

Found, installed.. Can't get it to show up under /Clocks in Gear Manager so unusable.

Try to reset app data and cache in application mangager on phone for watchstyler.

Thanks, lol, I actually already cleared both data/cache from your response in other thread because I thought that's what you meant. So this time I did it for "Watchstyler", loaded back into Gear Manager and it still didn't show. So I ran watchstyler app on phone, then went back into Gear Manager.... Clocks, still not showing.

uninstall watch styler then install it again
it worked for me
then load your watch face
then apply it
then at the top it has a + ,click that,it will say connecting to watchstyler

I have two gear managers listed. Both v2.1.14052101
Tried it with running watchstyler first, then to gear manager, there is no watchstyler in clocks.
Just:
Digital Clock
Dual Clock
Event Clock
Pedometer Clock
Shortcut Clock
Weather Clock
Style Clock 1
Style Clock 2
Style Clock 3
Style Clock 4

that's funny, mine did the same, but in uninstalled watchstyler fthrough wondershare mobile go
then installed it again
ran it on the phone
then ran it through gear manager
it worked for me
im on stock note 3

I dunno. Must be a problem with my phone Galaxy S4 or the ROM I'm on but doesn't make sense, everything else involving Gear Manager works flawlessly.

seems your doing the same as me,,
can you try uninstalling watchstyler, and gear manager
or is there stuff on your watch you need to keep

I suppose I could but would cause a little bit of pain getting things set up again.
I opened my own thread to see if any others have the problem and if a solution arises.

So, the number of apps for gear1-Tizen is increasing?

Slowly, some watch styler created faces for android are a bit crazy now with tizen, I.e. the artwork and analogue hands etc off centre miss aligned. Most of my favorite wsthemes work though.

Watchstyler now on Tizen but...

Watch Styler now in Samsung Apps and installed it, yet can't access it anywhere in Gear Manager / Home Screen Styler / Clock. It is not there anywhere to select?
Anyone else having this issue?
Could it be because I rooted Tizen

I'm beginning to thing it is because my gear is rooted. Another user brought this up in several threads and he is rooted to but having a different but somewhat similar issue and not able to run WatchStyler.

@lazer9 what was the reason for root access if you don't mind me asking.

There's already a new "Camera" app I was able to push (From the General Root discussion thread) to up recording from 15 sec. to 90 sec.
At the time, there where some watches released/converted to .wgt format to work by pushing to gear via SDB if rooted.
Hoping more "tweak" and whatnot become available since usually rooting a device opens up a whole new world of opportunity.
I just seen a post in the Gear Watch designs threads in "Apps" section that a user who is rooted reports their WatchStyler is working fine so now I'm stumped a bit.

I haven't been able to find it in Samsung Apps.

Someone else just mentioned this of sorts in the Gear Watchstyler theme thread, yet I have no idea how to push it to watch in Tizen. And even if there is a way, how do I download a free standing .apk or whatever of Watchstyler to attempt this when all I know is it's showing up on phone's Gear Manager - Samsung Apps to directly install through phone that way which is what I did.
So confused... :crying:

I've searched in both. Searched for Watch Styler and WatchStyler. Nothing showing up. I'll keep looking.

it should be in clocks in Samsung apps from the gear manager
watchstyler is very buggy, digital watches don't work and they crash watch styler
it takes a while to update the watch face sometimes, sometimes it fast sometimes its longer

Hrmmm I'm running UK Tizen on my watch since there is no USA version release yet and USA firmware/ROM on my phone.

I didn't see the u.k. one so I installed the Canadian one.

Well I installed the CNN app just now from Gear Manager/Samsung Apps/Lifestyles or whatever and it says it's in gear manager but it is neither there nor my watch so I have no idea what the **** $amsung is up to....

Once you install the cnn app via gear manager it should give you a prompt to install CNN app on phone via playstore.

Xperia Z2 is good with Tizen.
Works with my new Xperia Z2, get notifications, email, and even the photos on the gear auto transfer to my un rooted bare Z2.
The only downer is no samsung apps and watch styler, well watch styler does install on my Z2 but wont push app to me gear 1!

Ive read as much as i can and i cant find ought.
Before i upgraded to Tizen i had it rooted and used the Null ROM.
It was pretty easy then.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.:good:

New to VR - SideloadVR not available. recommended alternatives?

Hi All
I just grabbed the Samsung gear VR yesterday. Now I am discovering all cool VR stuff.
I have come across Sideloading. There have been recommendations to download an app called SideloadVR. I have attempted to do this but apparently this is no longer available in Google play. Are there any alternatives to this or maybe there is another location I can grab it from.

By the way, make sure you follow the instructions to get your osig file. Also I'm pretty sure this app and website will be gone soon, so better download what you want.
