Is there any way to enable one handed mode in stock ROM?
I really think it's a cool feature and don't know why it's not a thing anyone talks about.
No without xposed or third party apps.

Hei
I know that it's possible top add screenshot function in the Powermenue, made this happen on my X10 before.
so would it also be possible to start an app via powermenue? The Camera right below the screenshot function would be quite cool IMHO.
anyone else who thinks this could be useful? anyone who knows how to get that done?
you need custom ROM or stock could be moded?
I recently installed a Pioneer Appradio 3 in my car, and the mirroring only works correctly if the phone is in landscape mode. If the screen is in portrait mode, the touch functions don't work properly. The problem is the home and apps screens force portrait mode, which makes it incredibly difficult to use the radio.
Is there any way to get landscape mode for these screens? I'm using the stock ROM at the moment, but OK with flashing a new ROM if necessary.
Bumping this.
Would it just be a manner of changing the launcher, or will I need to flash a new ROM? If I need to flash, which ROMs support landscape mode for these screens?

The stock ROM, or even a launcher on the stock rom doesnt support horizontal home screen. You can check the features list of the roms 2 identify which one supports it. Ive tested Insertcoin 8.1.3 nd ViperOne 5.8.0 and it works properly. I havent tested other ROMs, but these two should be fine....
Thanks so much. I switched to ViperOne and everything works great.
Is it possible to change the default app for the camera? I like that I can get to the camera by gesture but I prefer a third party app.
You can use any camera you want... But only the stock camera will work with the shake feature.
View my profile, I dare you. ?
If you are rooted, twisty switch can change the camera gesture

Didn't know that.
Will it conflict with the moto feature though?
And it doesn't chew through the Battery like a dog with rawhide?

Hello.
I'm sure many of you are familiar with Samsung's one-handed mode used on the Note series. You do a gesture and the screen shrinks to allow easier one-handed usage.
I know there is an xposed module that does something similar, but it doesn't seem to work on 5.1
Does anyone know if there is a solution for shrinking the screen to make one-handed usage easier which is compatible with 5.1?
Or any other ideas? I generally find myself having to use two hands, but being able to use one when needed would be extremely handy.
Thanks.

nope, no options, sorry.
Hi yall,
tis my first post, so please have mercy!
I'd like to know if stock android oreo on my huawei p10 is worth it.
I'd also like to know if I could retain the button based navigation I got used to (came from iOS after many years) while having stock android as well.
Plus, if there's a way to keep the bokeh effects of the cameras (front/back) on stock android (default camera app, unless there's a way to configure the lock-screen shortcuts )
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers!

hey, it's pretty safe to say that all of the functions featured above (home button navigation, portrait mode, etc.) will not be present when installing stock android because huawei is the one responsible for them being in your phone. Unless you are committed to losing these features, it's not worth installing stock android oreo.
