I'm now looking for a new ROM. Preferably the latest Android, and as close to stock as possible. I just can't find the correct ROM.

I am currently on 4.1.2 12.0.A.2.254, rooted eXistenZ Ultra 3.X (LB).
If I am to upgrade to the newest eXistenZ Ultra 4, would I first need to update my stock firmware to 12.1.A.1.205, re-root, apply latest Doomkernel etc. and then flash the ROM or does the ROM already contain the newest firmware and kernel?
I know the set of instructions are on the second post, however, I just wanted to verify if this method is outdated for the newest ROM update.

Seems that updating the firmware also updates the corresponding kernel.

the Existenz thread provides a direct link to the zip file for the existenz rom u mentioned... the ZIP file is not an OTA instead its an entire ROM of around 756MB.. its the latest version 4.0.0 based on latest xperia firmware 12.1.A.1.205 ... just download the ZIP.. flash it using any recovery... after flashing again install another recovery u want and root the device...

I am usnig Samsung Galaxy Note N7000, running CyanogenMod 11 latest nightly, Android 4.4.4.
I want to try MIUI ROM. But in the entire MIUI thread I havent been able to find any thread talking about how to Flash MIUI ROM on devices already running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
So can someone please guide me how flash my mobile with MIUI ROM.
Why should there be countless instructions for every version of all available Roms?
Simply follow the installation instructions given by the owner:
Installation:
- Download latest PhilZ N7000 kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1901191
- Make a Backup of your current rom
- Flash it
- Reboot recovery
- Make a Fullwipe (dont forget to wipe /preload )
- install the rom

Thanks for speaking out something. But my question was, my mobile is already running on KitKat (Android 4.4.4) but the official developer version of MIUI for Galaxy Note N7000 is still on "Author: MIUI Official Team and Version: 3.2.22 （V4）" which is on Jellybean. So its actually downgrading. And before Installing KitKat I remember that there is a change how KitKat worked compared to Jellybean. So wont there be a different procedure while downgrading from KitKat to Jellybean??
Which is what I am unable to understand. So do tell me if there is a procedure to follow or any points to remember while downgrading from KitKat CM11 to Jellybean MIUI.
Can someone pls help and give instructions how to flash stock ROM on Lenovo K3 note ?
I bought the phone and it has some modified version of stock 1511 (seems it has some spyware).
Want to flash VIBEUI_V2.5_1521_7.145.1_DEV_K50-T5 from official site but I can only find information on flashing recovery not stock ROM.
This modified ROM doesn't have option to check for updates in android settings so OTA doesn't work.

I'm a bit new to all this stuff and I just recently rooted my N910T. I was searching for how to install Xposed framework but all I could find was for different ROMs. I'm running the stock ROM with lollipop. Is it possible to install it on the stock ROM? or do I have to choose a different one?
