[Q] Sim Unlocking of Incredible S ???

Hi Guys :
I Just got an HTC Incredible S locked for Version ... Can anyone tell me how can i unlock it and use it for all carriers ?? Provided that am a nubie in Android phones !!
does changing the original ROM unlock the phone ???

No changing the ROM will not SIM unlock it. Did you mean a Verizon Droid Incredible 2?

You either need to contact the carrier for the unlock code or use one of the pay services and purchase an unlock code.
Which HBOOT version does the phone have? If it is version 1.09 you might check the Development section. There was an older thread that claimed to S-Off and SuperCID earlier versions but doesn't work on the newer versions.

[Q] I updated with a unlocked bootloader and S-Off! HELP!!

Today I updated to Sense 6 on my Verizon HTC One M7 with S-Off and unlocked bootloader and now when I unlock the phone it shows a message saying Unauthorized Device: This app is not compatible with your device.
I tried talking to HTC but they couldnt fix it.
**I am new to all this and I suck**

sorry mate my bad, i meant verizon. both sprint and verizon htc one are different from the gsm htc one variant and have their specific forum. This forum here is for the htc one M7_UL or M7_U gsm variant.

how can i unlock htc one m8 gray sprint with 5.0.1 ,,,
problem consist with : HtcOMADM_SPCS
i guess there should be new version compatible with 5.0.1 version !!!

Did you check the General forum here? There are several SIM unlock methods outlined there.

I think the latest sim unlock is for Lollipop.

Is there anyway to downgrade Lollipop?

I am also in the same boat with OP, I have a Sprint HTC One M8 Harmon/Kardon with Marshmallow 6.20.654.3. I live overseas and i need to get this phone sim-unlocked. Can this be done with the current software version or do I need to downgrade the ROM to be able to sim-unlock my phone for use with an international GSM-Network?
