Android 6.0 marshmellow p7?

I would just like to know, with the release of Android 6.0, will Huawei skip the rollout of Lollipop and focus on Marshmellow?
Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure that we will never see official Android 6.0 for the P7.

Marshmallow for P7? You have to be kidding me. Maybe P8 in 2017 will get it, but P7 nope.

we don't get Lollipop so what do you think about Marshmellow
Huawei give you a good phone for price but they don't know the phone anymore after that

look at the P6, it never got 5.x update even though its more capable of running it.

Yes,they are little chances to see Android 6.0 in Huawei P7 i don't think Huawei will update it,the only chance is somebody to port MIUI Android 6.0 to Huawei P7.

Did nem-l21 will get new nougat updates as p9 gets. I mean new versions as 381?

You can try Firmware Finder to see the latest version. If there is no recent update yet, might as well have some more patience.

I chek it every week. But i see p9 get much updates but nem-l21 didn't recive any.

P9 is a flagship phone. That may be the reason why it receives frequent updates.

Irrespective of their weird promises , i found that they provided emui 5 update only for phones which have kirin chip

Not at all . SD is far easier than kirin . But as said ,kirin is their in-house build chip so sources are in their hands .

Hello guys i recently browsing a searching for possible android 8.0 roms for honor 7 lite aka honor 5c and i found that its expected to be updated to oficial android 8.0. It is real or fake ?

In this table it is written that decision is not yet known. There will be custom ROM for sure

That list is fake, honor 5x didn't even get nougat and it says it will get oreo

theres not alot that would change, EMUI would still be on top of it, and alot of apps would be buggy.

No you're not the only one. I've had 3 different honor phones and i can tell you now if you're expecting regular, or even consistent updates, you've bought the wrong phone. Honor are really bad with updates or they'll update one region but not another, e.g both india and Germany have had at least one update, here in the UK we've had none. Honor haven't even put up the stock firmware yet.

This thread will be deleted, but I just want to let you know that we will start to recieve the oreo update in two weeks from now. I spoke with Huawei and they confirmed this in a private chat.
Today I found in firmware finder this, a rollback to emui 5.1 .. This is obviously because of 8.0
(I hope I was understandable)

yeah already using it. so far i dont have any issue also i think battery is better than before.

EMUI 8.0 Beta comes with Treble enabled.
Thumbs up for Huawei for knowing what dev community needs.
With that said, hopefully someone will start developing custom AOSP Treble ROM for this device.

there is already a lone ROM for our device. i thinki it's under the mate 10 lite forums and i bet it's based on stock rom. i don't haveplans to root and try it out though as we don't yet have full firmware packages for those who want to reflash. i hope huawei won't be so stingy giving out full firmware packages tho.

Course it won't. If huawei obeys google's 2-year update policy, we should also get P as our last update but i'm crossing my fingers for android Q. ??? since huawei was kind enough to update P9 to O, making it 3 major updates. My friend previously owns a P9. Now she owns a Mate 10.

As per Huawei Officials in my country, Oreo update will be rolled out before end of 3rd quarter of 2018.

Strange how everybody reports about Huawei officials telling them even the slightest hints about the rollout, and in Slovenia, they simply tell you that they don't have any info and your phone will notify you about the update.
