Please help me! My device model is xperia z c6603, bootloader is unlocked, rooted and i reverted back to KitKat from Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. All i need to know is i have flashed TWRP recovery via TWRP official app but doesn't not get into recovery mode, rest everything is working great, boots in fastboot mode but not recovery.

Hello people.I am a noob to rooting phones.I recently rooted my Sony Xperia ZR running stock rom , Kitkat 4.4.2
I used Towelroot by Geohotz to root the phone and have unlocked the bootloader with the official procedure of unlocking bootloaders
I would like to install TWRP or CWM custom recovery but i am unable to since i cant boot into recovery.
I tried quick boot and the hardware combinations but in vain
build number : 10.5.A.0.230
kernel : 3.4.0-perf-g32ce454

I have now been able to flash the clockworkmod zip using flashify still ahvent been able to get into recovery mode

Download the latest version for the ZR, and be sure to get the one that has 'installer' in its name. Extract and run install.bat and there you go - the latest PhilZ touch and TWRP. In fact, this is the only way I know of to get TWRP above 2.6.3.0 for the ZR.
The xperia ZR(c5502) is a great phone but a pain in the ass when it comes to finding anything on custom recovery for it. Does the dual boot work on unlocked bootloader cos mine is.

I previously was on an older firmware with unlocked bootloader, philz dual recovery and was rooted . i got the update to 10.5.1.A.0.283 however i cant update it using the over-the-air as i have an unlocked bootloader, so i install flashtool, download 10.5.1.A.0.283 and pick up the android 4.4.4 package from here

i installed the 4.4.4( using recovery- flash zip)and then installed the 10.5.1.A.0.283(using flashtool).
the phone boot up just fine, but i no longer can access any recovery on the phone, at the bootup the notification light doesn't glow up at all.
Please point me in the right direction

Go to XZDUALRECOVERY thread and install recovery, OR , flash custom kernel :thumbup:

I wiped everything before installing new rom from TWRP recovery
I restarted
Then no os, no recovery
Tried going to fastboot...but not working

hold volume down while you connect your phone to pc,in order to boot the phone in flash mode.then flash a stock firmware in flashtools.

i flashed twrp recovey twrp-3.0.2-0-yuga.img from fastboot then my phone keep booting at twrp recovery i tried restart many times but no chance
rest factory from twrp and not working also

You can't flash recovery on stock ROM that way because after that the ROM will not boot. I think now you have to either flash stock ROM again via Flashtool or flash any custom one using recovery you have installed.
I wanted to root my phone which sony xperia z3 dual D6633 6.0.1 build no. 23.5.A.1.291 i already unlocked the bootloader. The problem is when i go to recovery mode the logo of it loops. I think the problem is my boot.img?. also other boot.img that is related to my phone are links that are dead.
