Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been active on XDA. Me and my girl are seriously considering getting the 3t. I have T-Mobile and she has sprint. My question is, will she be able to use Wifi calling?

Do any of the roms have wifi calling? I have spotty reception in my house and wanted to see if wifi calling would alleviate that issue.
I currently use and love HD revolution, but will give it up for wifi calling.
Shouldn't you be able to use Google talk? I'm not in the u.s. so I'm not to sure on the details...

Is there a Tmobile Wifi calling app that can be loaded on custom roms for a Tmobile branded One? I am switching over to Tmobile and haven't received my phone yet so I am not certain how Tmobile integrates Wifi calling into the OS.
I'm thinking it's probably like how they did it in the galaxy s2, it's in the settings.

Alright so it was confirmed that the nexus supports T-mobile's Wifi Calling. How exactly do you conifgure it ? I didn't see anything in the settings, and didn't see a Wifi Calling app in the playstore.
Does anyone know how to get Wifi Calling working on the new Nexus with T-Mobile ?

Yes. You will have to wait until 2015 to get Wifi calling working.
You have to wait until next year. I'm in the same boat. In the mean time, you could do wifi calling using hangouts.
@askdesk on twitter said that they're working on it. no ETA as of yet.
Yeah. It sucks working in a cave and having a pregnant wife and no Wi-Fi calling.

Get a note 4...lol.
Hi all,
Am I the only one with crazy drop calls and fading voice/voice cutting out? The issue is a lot worse after I updated to OE2. Loosing Internet while on a call too.

I don't notice any difference in call quality or increased dropped calls on this device personally. In fact I have yet to have it drop a call, even in spotty areas.
You need HD calling on (and be in 4g coverage) to talk and use data simultaneously on the s6, if you haven't already turned that on.

Thanks for the reply. HD calling is on. For some reason it turns off by itself from time to time? Very weird.... didn't do it as bad before the update

I'm using a rom that doesn't support VOLTE or wifi calling... Wifi calling i can live without... Curious how important Volte is? I know it delivered HD voice, but thats about I know.
Was hoping to get some opinions from people smarter than me. Thanks.

If you're in an LTE band 12 area, there is no corresponding GSM voice for it, so you'll need VoLTE to make and receive voice calls in that region.
