I've some Issues with Navigon Select Telekom Edition (Germany). The App shows the boot-logo and then the Background stands grey. There doesn't come anything.
Do someone know the issue and how to fix it?

I've just downloaded the latest ROM BIOS upgrade for my XDA2i (Xda_IIi_Upgrade_v111169) at the UK's O2 website which includes some Blueberry things I believe - but haven't checked yet. :?:
I think I may have found a small glitch if anyone can help. :?
The glitch is in Windows Media Player 10, as setup by a clean reinstall.
When I click on WMP10, it does not display a 'file open' option.
The 'file open' icon is 'greyed out' and only the icon which connects to Windows Media.com on the Internet works.
As usual I can double click on some media files (eg wmf, AVI) in File Explorer and have them open in WMP10 as expected, - but I wonder does anyone have a fix so I can make it work by opening files in WMP10 in the normal way?
Although I don't use WMP10 a lot, and prefer others, I would like to get it going because I believe it is cludgy or difficult to remove.
But I may be wrong....What do others think ?

I'm not an expert so my reply may not be accurate!
I rang up O2 and asked whether my XDA would work in Asian countries, and they said yes. (after ensuring my contract gave me access to international calls)
I asked whether it would still work with the upgrade, they said yes.
More than that I don't know. My approach would be backup everything, and then be able to install whichever works there.
If that's not what you meant, then maybe someone else can help.
wat is the improvement they provided inside this new ROM? i live in singapore, can somebody tell me is this can be use in asia?

I have down load this ROM and update to my PPC. But the Radio was v1.00.00 instead of my old version is v1.00.3. Finally I back to old vertion.
The new 02 upgrade only seems to have the Blackberry upgrade? Does anyone know if it contains any further fixes and if it does how can I upgrade the Radio portion to1.03, like the previous cooked 02 ROM?

Found one answer, not possible to update to v1.03 radio, doesn't seem to work with new 02 ROM, I wonder if that is why 02 did not update radio themselves?
do you have any trouble with the vodafone Calendar plugin?
Just asking as every so often, I get a notificationerror stating;
'cannot execut vcalpulg.exe'
I'm not over excited about it as I could turn it off and use the WM version. Anyone else have this problem or know if there is an update from Vodafone? Have looked on their site but cannot find anything on it.

I've not seen any Updates for the phone's software on the Vodafone site. A bit poor if you ask me

I don't have a link for live on mine but have the STK service in the programmes folder and that's it.

Neither, the vodafone calendar plugin which is in start> Settings> today> Items
Uncheck the Vodafone Calendar option and check the normal Calendar option.
This gives you the same information and is the same calendar
I have but that's not the point, lol.
As far as I can tell, the only point of that plugin is to put the Vodafone stylised calendar icon (as seen on all their other branded phones) on the today screen instead of the standard WM one. Bizzarre.
Personally, I think the best solution to such wanton waste of resources is just to flash it to the HTC ROM, and ditch all the vodacrap..
Just wondering anyone give this one a shot i have it and when i click the address button it asks for my town when i put it in my town it doesnt do anything and i have the maps for america. Anyone know how to use this.
you have to activate the maps.
i've got the maps for the BeNeLux and had to activate them.
after you've activated , it should work just fine.
To activate the map, you need to go to menu -> about -> map, click on the map you want and select unlock.
i did all that but it didnt work i uninstalled and installed 3 times and it just started working anyone know if this is better then copilot im thinking about buying that one aswell if its any good thanx
This was working on Cyanogen 4.1.999 and it worked fine. Now I'm on Cyanogen 4.2.5 and it's not working at all. I have the USA map with TN, GA, FL, SC, NC map. I see they don't even have a the usa map for download on the site. It says coming soon. Any ideas.

ndrive updated to ver. 9.3.0 but i cannot get it to work with cyan's 4.2.5 either.
Where did you guys get this? According to NDrive this is not yet available on Android Market.
I get "Ndrive could not be installed on this phone" which is an HTC dream running 1.5

As far as I can see there are only maps for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Is it possible to apply/patch the currently existing navigon maps from other versions of the program (from different OSes) for WP7?
Tried changing my region / provider to de/de tmous but still cannot find the download on the market, anyone got a directlink (zune link) to the app, or tell me what market region it's on?

i can`t get navigon 3.6 to work all the time?? it force closes when i start to drive. i have updated it from navigon fresh. all all seems ok until i run it. i hear i might have to rewrite some stuff in the version file to match my id and imei etc.
any help please, i need to drive from the uk to east europe tomorrow!!!

Sorry but we can't help you without getting a few information...
I don't use navigon but are you sure you did everything right / followed steps? Usually it doesn't work using a cracked version.
Which ROM do you use?
To me it sounds a bit strange that it forcecloses when you start to drive.
Do you have internet connection (wifi or 3g or gprs...)?
Navigon needs to check license every time it starts (for version from mobilism.org, google told me that paid version checks only once)
if you cannot figure it out, use sygic or igo
