I have a z3c (locked, but I can unlock if it's needed) that I would like to find all pictures an photos and save them somewhere else. It looks like there is photos everywhere, under facebook, messenger, edited, camera and so on. For me it looks like a real mess. Is there a way to first find all photos and then copy them?

Why is it that, when I look at pictures I've taken in the gallery, they look considerably less bright than when I looked through the screen just before I took them?
Any one else get this?
So one of the newer features of facebook it's the ability to save photos instead of screenshotting them. Useful for funny pictures etc.
The photos save in a folder named "facebook" inside the DCIM folder, except in the gallery app the photos are in the camera shots album.
It's not a big deal, but I get pretty ocd about how things are organised in my phone, and pictures I take mixed with facebook photos is a big no no.
Is there a way to change this so that appears in it's own album?
If it helps, I installed the vanilla 4.2 gallery (with the photsphere capabilities) app and the pictures saved in facebook are in desperate albums from my photos, but I prefer to use the default app.
Thanks for any help
Howdy,
Lately I've been saving a number of pictures from Internet Explorer and Whatsup, and once I got to Photos|Saved pictures, I saw many saved photos aren't there. Curious, I've plugged the phone to the PC and browsed to SD Card\Pictures\Saved Pictures and... all of the saved pictures were there in the Saved picture, they just didn't appear in the Photos app.
What could be the issue? Could that be traced anyhow? Pretty itching issue.

PS.: I've been experiencing an issue like that when I've had reading failures after I turned on Full File System Access once on my Samsung ATIV S. But then I had issues with Photos app closing every now and then after it was launched. I don't experience such issues now, Photos app and other apps like Camera don't close on starting.
Hmm... are they all image formats that the Pictures app recognizes? IE supports a lot of image formats (SVG, for example) that are not officially supported image formats on the phone.
When you save a picture in IE, it gets shown fullscreen and there's a message at the top, even when it says finished, it only saves the picture when you wait for it to disappear, clicking back will cancel it.
Hey guys I've been noticing that my gogle photos app shows photos and videos in lower quality then what they are, yet when I go to the device folders page they show up at the correct quality. I have my account sync set to original and so I would just really want to know if anyone else has been experiencing this or if it's just me?
I'm running Pure Nexus by the way in case that helps
If they have been backed up to the cloud, its likely that those are just smaller res versions for viewing on mobile (less bandwith).
Something you could do to test, remove a couple of the photos off your device (i.e. move to your PC) go into the photos app and find the same photos, click download and see the quality of what you get from that.
Okay, so I'm having a weird issue on my Nexus 6
I have several camera apps on my phone –*Google Camera, Manual Camera, Camera FV-5, Open Camera, etc.
All of them save their pictures to the same directory (/DCIM/Camera)
For some reason, however, the only photos that my phone "recognizes" as actually being there are the ones taken by the Google Camera app.
What I mean by "recognizes":
If I go to Facebook to post an image, it will only show the ones taken by Google Camera
If I click on the image previews in Google Camera, it only shows the photos taken by Google Camera
If I browse to the Camera folder using Device Folders in Google Photos, it only shows the photos taken by Google Camera
Much weirder still, though:
If I click on the image previews in Manual Camera, it only shows the photos taken by Google Camera
If I click on the image previews in Open Camera, it only shows the photos taken by Google Camera
I.e., if I take a picture in Manual Camera, then click it's preview icon? It will show me the most recent picture taken in Google Camera.
I know these other images are saving correctly, in the correct directory, as if I browse to it in Solid Explorer, the files are all there and I can open them just fine.
But for some reason, any app that deals in media and not in file-structure won't recognize them as being there unless they were taken in Google Camera
I'm at a loss. I've tried deleting and recreating the directory; same issue. And it's not just one app that does this – any app that I take pictures in, the photos do not show up, unless it was taken with Google Camera.
Help?
