Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to encounter low audio when using ProBAM. Am I the only one or is it a known bug?

I have the latest one on goo.im, which was 4.4.3. When I test the audio in settings it works fine but the touch sounds are not audible.
So I installed a sense 5 4.2.2 rom, and there is that icon on the notification bar, the one that looks like the letter N and it's next to the WiFi icon.
I don't know what it is and I can't remove it
