Be certain to do a full backup of your music, photos, data, apps, call logs, sms/text and so on before flashing.
You MUST DO A FULL WIPE, whether you are coming from homemade builds , or a previous version of OmniROM, because OmniROM is signed with different keys, and it will not boot otherwise.
GAPPS must be flashed BEFORE initial boot, they will NOT work properly if you flash them afterwards !!!

Omni only supports TWRP recovery, use any alternate recovery at your own risk.
Bug reports will only be accepted with a full logcat, impossible to debug otherwise !

Up and running. Looks smooth and nice (first impression)
Edit: (look the p.s. below) I like the FP implementation. Unlocks the screen without pressing it. Nice. I hope that doesn't keep the device awake.
I'm keeping this and playing with it for the next couple of days.
@scanno
P.s. Not really sure how the home button works with a fingerprint lock.
It doesn't respond when I press it. I need to use power button to turn the screen on and then unlock with fp.
Is this the intended behavior?

This is the omni default behavior. As I wrote in the first post the device settings need to be done and one of the things is the behavior of the home button (i.e. Press to wake on/off)

Understood. Thanks!
Right now I am going to relax for a few days because a lot had to be done to get this to work with omni (especially because of the panel being landscape while the default orientation of this tablet is portrait)

I'm enjoying this build. The two rows settings look nice and the substratum support makes the room look beautiful.
No hiccups so far. Excellent job for a test release! :good:

Hello everyone I am an upcoming developer as some of you may know me from BAREBONES ROM, I decided to port over my favourite ROM flavour which is OmniROM (obviously). This is still in very very early stages! After weeks of fixing build errors I have finally got myself a compiled version of OmniROM for the KLTE. The latest version boots and is usable as a daily driver except for the non working features listed in post number 3. I am hoping to get support and feedback through the journey of getting this running. Logcats, testing and feedback is going to be necessary if we want this to become stable! Hope everyone Enjoys!
This ROM was built using OmniROM repos and CM configs as a base. Lots and lots of modding to the device configurations has been made to make it compatible with OmniROMs source code. Do not try to use these device configurations to build anything other than OmniROM!

Right now compiling needs some patching in order to work.
Grab the device configuration from HERE
The Kernel from HERE
Place the device configuration in ~/device/samsung/klte
and the kernel in ~/kernel/samsung/klte
Then you must patch ~/frameworks/av-caf with these patches
FIRST PATCH
SECOND PATCH
Once that is complete you can build as normal.
If you run in to a ZSL issue apply THIS patch.

Hi folks, after a lot of try and errors, finally i built it. Proudly to bring another alternative ROM! This ROM is awesome in every way! Smooth fast and stable.
Built using optimized GCC/TC (SaberMod and UBER-TC), which results in performance, stability and battery save!
**** INFO *****
Guys i want to apologize for not releasing up to date builds! My laptop is dying, and i have no other machine to build! I really need to find a server to keep builds in a fresh state, and updates rolls more often! If anyone could help me with the server it would be nice. I can pay for it. Im doing my best to release new builds! Be patience folks!
The BETA build doesn't have the victara specific gestures from CMActions, because i was having some trouble to get the build done with such resource. But now, new releases will include this feature, in a fully functional state. Hope you guys enjoy it! Thank you

Are you trying to install the Tesla-quark-5.1.1.High_Voltage.1.9-Release-20150726.zip on a Moto X 2014? Quark is the Moto Maxx, this rom won't work on the Moto X 2014 (victara), it's for a different device.
Hello, cool ROM Thank you! (It might be first with RRO support)
I'm having problems connecting to my T-Mobile network, usually with other ROMs I'd have to choose IP6 option, but it does not seem to work here.
Any thoughts? / Has anyone come across this on T-Mobile?
I'm running:
Tesla-victara-5.1.1.High_Voltage.1.9-Release-20150725.zipJul 26
TK GApps 5.1
[Kernel] Render Kernel [CM12][Synapse][R4]
Xposed 5.1 (no active modules)
System ui crashes when i use slim recents and try to open it. It worked a couple of hours, now it crashes every time.
Do you need any logs?
edit: now it works again, i will play with the settings and look if this changes anything
Thank you for ajuda.voce did a good job, I would know how to put widged energia.desde bar jamuito thanks.

Backing up and installing, i'll report my feelings asap
Edit:
Installed and tried. ROM is sooo smooth, seriously, better than LP. Xposed is working (so i am waiting for fully working rom ). And yes, there is a problem with network switcher. It stays at LTE, and can't be changed to any another mode (2G/3G) BUT on selected LTE is only showing EDGE signal when i have HSDPA signal where i live.
Is this rom working with multirom? I can't check because I'm not in home. BTW. Great job and thumbs up.

The reason as to why your ROM is "super smooth and fast" is because it's just an ALPHA, and you had even installed a PICO gapps package - that's NOTHING for a device with 16GB storage. Basically, all CMs (I've been a fan of CyanogenMod since CM7) are meant to be fast, unique and smooth, but you can't really say that a CM ROM with only the most basic functions can be slow and bad. Especially on a powerful phone like ours.
And one more thing I'd like to add to those who are unexperienced - because you'll all lose DRM keys when you flash a non-stock ROM (which means awful camera quality at night and weird noise on photos), don't flash this ROM. It's not the time to do it, because you'll spend a lot of time backing up and restoring data. Better wait for a BETA version, in my opinion
Either way, big thanks to the OP for this, I'll definitely try and find a way to make a donation for this project. :good:

When you post bugs or errors, its generally helpful to post with logs instead of

HEELP HAPL!!! MY DEVICE BECOM POTATO... um... I mean...
I encountered strange behaviour while switching from my Bluetooth headset to the wired stock Sony headphones during music playback from Spotify. The sound disappeared, ui began to lag, especially volume adjustment, and eventually crashed, without anr message though.
Log too big to be attached so here is the link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2Xx_go-qIiad0k5M3JFQjFRb2s
I am using project desire sound mod and adblock through hosts file, maybe this has an impact.

yes,we are based on candy, but We don't make much difference now, because the Yuanwei OS is just built, the biggest difference is that we integrate the Brevet,
the Launcher is different,.
and the wallpaper as the Yuanwei OS wallpaper and so on,
the more IMPORTANT is to spend a lot of time on translation to Chinese.
Firstly, thank you kindly OP for sharing another rom for our beloved A7. I'm on A2017U and I tried this build out earlier today but I'm back on AOSP Extended so I thought I'd give some feedback. I love Candy roms but no matter what I tried with this particular build, I could not get past the lag. No offense OP, I'm just sharing my personal experience. This build has some of the worst lag I've ever experienced. I clean flashed this build and could barely get thru the setup. I tried wiping caches and rebooting to no avail. Also, this build doesn't appear to have the speaker phone fix so call audio only plays from top speaker. Other than that, I really like what I see. Unfortunately the lag prevented me from digging as deep as I normally would but very promising Rom. Keep up the good work!

The reason it's laggy is that he is using lineage kernel which is awful.. Flash a true Candy build with our kernel and you'll find the experience much improved

Nice one. If you get chance, have a look at Validus to bring to our device. Had it on my old Moto and was brilliant.
Will test this at some point this week for you, bro.
Thank you
Edit: pop a link to GAPPS in your OP
:good: but every one is doing near version of pie but ther is to many bugs try to fix them first and make it official
Nice to have another option. Why don't you fixed aicp for beta state instead of making new rom? Just asking lol.
Not yet try it, still using pixel experience

Since ,AICP source is not updated yet couldn't progress more with it..I'm planning to continue AOKP until then.
thanks for your work , but i think the only thing a5,a7 users need is stable aosp rom not variuos aosp rom , for example as other pie roms this rom dosnt have button options too , any way thanks
