I still haven't received the 20o OTA on either of my G4's. Anyone else not have it yet? What could be taking so long? It has been out for weeks.
why dont you flash it... yourseld using LGUP..
thers the KDZ search for it and flash it using LGUP.
In addition to LGup you could also use the more official route of lg bridge.

I had the same problem, not able to get it on LG Bridge, and I can't find the .kdz file for it anywhere. I flashed a pure 20i stock zip and then I got the notification for the OTA from t-mobile.
ota 20o update
if you are rooted it may not update via ota which is good because ota updates on a rooted can brick your device
if you want the upgrade this link may be your best option

I just got the update today. If you don't get the update by August 5th, call T-Mobile and they will probably push the update to you.
just got my phone back from lg repair shop they shipped it with 20i so i plugged it in to lg bridge and its updating to 20o now
once you are on 20o thers no going back.. no downgrade so you now. its V3 antirollback..
So i have the Sprint variant LS991 and my question is this. I see all over the Sprint G4 forums references to the software versions ZV5, ZV6, ZV9, ZVa & ZVB.
My particular handset is showing a ZFA version and I'm trying to find some way of putting a ROM on it since I haven't seen a root package for the LS991. I'm assuming that this is because the LS991 apparently is the red headed bastard step-child of the inbred G4 family. Can anyone suggest a ROM that would be compatable with the LS991.
I also note that on a lot of the ROMS it states that its only for the ZV5,6, or 9 versions etc. So can i roll back to one of these versions and if so is that done with the LGup tool/software?
Thanks for the input.
How were you able to display the ZFA version - what steps did you take to display that?
I go into the menu for settings, about phone, software info. That's where I see Software version LS991ZVC. What do you see there?
Depending what version you have, you can use an LGUP tool to downgrade. I think you can go ZVC down to ZVB, but no earlier.
As we know OTA update ZV6 coming out with Android patch sercurity level is at 2016-09-01 few day ago.
Let download and try:
ZV5: MEGA
ZV6: MEGA
And you know what, we can downgrade from ZV6 to ZV5 without any problems.

Thanks for the files! Can you please tell how to properly downgrade to ZV5? I tried to do it but every time I hit Start in LGUP, when the bar reaches 9% it shows an error 0x2000 CEFS: Initialize(). I'm trying to downgrade to ZV5 as I unlocked my G5 but there's no data working. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Could you, please update the links for LS992 ZV6?
Thank you
I got a Samsung S6 Edge (Verizon SM-G925V) today and heard I should upgrade to 7.0 (Nougat) firmware and hope it gets rooted soon. Is the baseband version I have root-able? It's G925VVRS4DQD1
To my understanding, the tool on autoroot.chainfire.eu WOULD work, but because the bootloader is locked down, it will brick the device instead? Is that true? Is there any hope that 7.0 will be rooted soon for my device? Any input on this would be helpful, thanks.

I tried it it said something about recovery not sure what but in Odin on the phone screen it said recovery fail
So do i. However, it won't brick your phone. One time i tried to upgrade to 7.0 or downgrade to 6.0, first boot i saw a pic of a lock is unlocked when i first boot. Next time i boot, it disapppears. Any idea?
I think this phone is unrootable for now since Verizon is like "you can't make it because i don't wanna my phone naked, haha"
Same problem here. recovery fail. How can I root my G925V Nougat?
I have searched everywhere but I didn't find a reply to my question.
A couple of days ago I have updated my phone LLD-L31 to the version 8.0.0.132 through Firmware Finder (it worked for me with proxy method) then I decided to revert back to the previous version 8.0.0.131. So I started reading guides to install a firmware on Huawei/Honor devices, I have downloaded the FullOTA package version 8.0.0.131 with Firmware Finder, placed it in the folder dload on my SDcard and started the intstallation in the project menu (accessible digiting *#*#2846579#*#* in the dialer), it started but suddenly it ended with a message "installation failed".
So my question is: how can i revert to the previous version of the software (or to the out of the box firmware installed on my device)?

You should have an option to downgrade in the about section/ the update menu of your phone if you did it right.
Otherwise you may need to use the HuRupdater Method.

Thanks for your reply!
I don't have this option, but if I remember well I hadn't it also in the previous version of the firmware.
So i can't install a previous version of the firmware simply downloading it an putting into dload folder of the SDcard?

Can you please specify why do you want to roll back?
Because most people just wanna upgrade to a newer version.Newwr versions will have better stability so it's recommended to keep the latest version unless you have some bugs.
I honestly don't know why the dload method doesn't work, seems that it doesn't work for most people.
I think you'll be able to roll back using HuRupdater. But that'll mean you'll have to unlock bootloader and flash twrp first. Then you can go all stock from there.
Here's a guide to the HuRupdater from @zxz0O0

After installing the version 132 I asked the technical support through HiCare and they told me that installing firmware with Firmware Finder could void warranty so I decided to revert to the previous firmware and wait for regular OTA by Huawei.

I'm not sure but I think you are on the latest build for your varient now so you won't be getting any updates untill a next build comes in.
I don't think you'll be able to roll back without the firmwares from firmware finder as you don't have an option to roll back.
The best option now would be to just wait for the next official build(might come soon as a small ota which has security patches) and then check if you are facing any issues installing which you won't as you are not rooted and dosent have an unlocked bootloader. So don't worry ?
