So seeing that development is dead on this phone, I'm stuck with the latest stock ROM as the other custom ROMs cameras won't work or have issues.
Are others having bad battery life on v7.4.2 or is it just me? I've tried location service disable apps/scripts and battery saving apps but it doesn't seem to help.
I would like to roll back to the older versions of the stock ROM but then it has security issues (thanks BLU /s). Is sitting on the latest stock ROM the only option out there that functions well (apart from battery life)?

well you dont have to stay on 7.4.2, you can go to v17 and compare battery levels.
Is your phone rooted and running Xposed Framework? I've tried both 7.4.2 and v17. In both cases, battery life was fine, until I installed Xposed. After that, I also started seeing close to 50% battery drops overnight.

I just installed v17, its a little better than before. Yeah I've tried 7.4.2 with and without xposed and I still had the same amount of drain.
I have the same issue
I'm having the same issue with my R1 HD, I think the battery usage is normal during the day but the problem is it drains overnight, I disable the wifi and data and turn off sound notifications when I go to bed. When I wake up I find the battery drained 15 - 20% over those hours.
I had the blu life pure mini before this phone and barely drained 1% overnight with those same settings, I also have the smart energy saving on but I don't think is doing anything.
I just got this phone 3 days ago and I really like it (it's much better than the life pure mini) except for the battery life issue. The phone came with v7.4.2 out of the box and yesterday I just got an official update to v8.4 but I haven't installed it yet 'cause I read somewhere that some people started having issues with this phone after receiving an update, although I don't think is this one because this is from may 5th 2017 and I think that thread was from last year.
Have you found a way to solve this and have you tried this update already? Is it safe? I don't know what to do because the phone is under warranty for 10 days (I bought it from a reseller) so if I can't find a way to fix this I could maybe consider return it and get my money back, although I prefer not to because where I live its pretty hard to get your hands on a phone like this at a decent price.
I wanted to upload an image of the battery stats but I just recharged it so maybe later, here is one of the update available.

Thanks for replying
I'm not an advanced user so I'm not looking to root my phone unless it fixes the battery issue. Unless this behavior is normal with this phone, draining battery while idle, because even with this the battery still last through the day. Its just that it didn't happen with my previous phone so I think there is a problem.
I wanted to know if there is a chance installing the official update will fix this and if anybody has had issues with the v8.4 because otherwise my phone is working fine.
I'm very new to this so any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I think I'm onto something with the issue, last night I tried again before I went to bed, turned of wifi, data, silenced notifications and turned on battery saver. Woke up 8 hours later to see the battery had drained 16%.
So I went over every detail of the battery stats and found that my phone is always awake, day and night. Something is preventing the phone from going into sleep mode and I don't know what it is. Only apps I've installed are twitter, instagram, whatsapp, UC browser, TY kids, duolingo, panda mobile security and an online shopping app. All the amazon apps are disabled and I turned off the automatic updates from the playstore.
Googling about this I found some people who had the same issue had fixed it by cleaning the cache an rebooting, I did this (with all apps cache) but it didn't work.
I'm going to install a battery monitor app to see if I can find something else, this thing is driving me crazy. Here are some screen captures of this morning.

Hi ive been having issues getting my nexus one to behave. No matter what the battery drains quickly with Android OS using up the most battery(36% atm). It isnt the battery because ive bought a brand new replacement battery for the phone. Ive done everything I can think of to make it work. This issue doesn't pop up in 2.2 only 2.3. Ive turned off sync, uninstalled apps that could possibly be suspect, and even reformatted and started my sd card from fresh. This issue has popped up in both Cyanogen 7 and stock 2.3.3

What radio are you using? I had horrible battery life with CM7 on the 5.12.00.08, but I switched to 5.08.00.04 and my battery has been fine. I'm not sure if that's the exact reason because I did a complete wipe of /data, /cache/, and /system, as well as reformat my sd-card before installing HBoot 0.35, the 5.08.00.04 radio, and the 2.3.3 ROM. I couldn't stand the lag and the constant reboots, so I switched to stock for now until CM7-Final comes out.
I have pretty bad battery life running Geo's 2.3.3v1. This morning I took it off the charger, checked the weather once and turned the screen on to check the time twice. an hour and a half later I am at 91%.
I'm seeing this issue too on my Nexus One. Battery Usage shows that Android OS is using somewhere between 30 and 38% of my battery. Battery life doesn't even make it through a whole day for me now.
My baseboard version is 5.08.00.04
+1
Thank you! I've been searching and searching for anyone on the interwebs with this same issue. Hopefully a solution can be found.
As soon as I (manually) upgraded to 2.3.3 on my Nexus One, the Android OS started to creep to near the top of my battery usage. Now, I can't make it through a day without recharging, whereas before I could easily make it through an entire day without concern.
I haven't installed any new apps, or enabled any new widgets.

Not sure about the OP, but my baseband is 5.08.00.04 and I'm getting sucky battery life.
Baseband 5.08.00.04 here too. Battery almost flat overnight, Android OS used 55%. Originally Vodafone Germany ROM, flashed to Gingerbread via stock FRG83 and updates.
My battery life has actually been stellar since GRI40... At 78% right now...

Seems like the problem has gone away. May have been my bad: I left GPS on by mistake, and although I would've expected the phone to switch it off when I'm not doing anything, it may not have. After switching it off, battery seems to be draining as normal, i.e., quite slowly, with Android OS just slicing off a few %.
I have the same problem, Android OS is draining my battery, can we talk on a Gingerbread bug?? I have noticed than sometimes the GPS icon appears in the Status bar, I thisk the GPS is the cause of the problem, I will turn off and try
I'm not sure, but maybe battery drain which you encountered was related to froyo/gingerbread feature which backs up your settings and apps? I find gb eating my battery not worse than froyo. Well, actually I'm starting to think that it's even better.
FYI after 26h on battery "android system" is not even listed in "battery use" so it ate less than 1% of my battery. Nice
Same issue here
Hi all, I'm having the same issue with the battery here.
It is drained in a few hours even if I don't do anything with the phone.
This started happening after 2.3.3 manual update.
My baseband is also 5.08.00.04.
I hope that somebody can find out what is creating this...
Thanks!
Same issue with battery on Android 2.3.3
Battery life was horrible on Android 2.3.3. It went from 70% to 35% overnigth (about 8 hours without using it). Android OS is consuming about 50% of battery when iddle. Before upgrading it only consumed about 10%.
With Android 2.2.2 I used to get about 48 hours of battery life.
I think maybe there is a bug in Android 2.3.3.
Running Nexus One with Android 2.3.3, baseband 5.08.00.04
I wish my battery chart looked like that. How can I get a screenshot like that? Maybe posting up my screenshot will help some one determine what's causing the problem.
Yea I as well am having this issue on 2.3.3. My chart is a steep decline with Android OS taking 33% of the usage. Really starting to not like GB.
I to have had bad battery life since my manual update to 2.3.3.
I am running AT&T model.
The only programs I have changed since the update are
Protector by Alexander Kosenkov
Mobile Defense
DejaOffice.
I have uninstalled The Protector & Mobile Defense as a test.
Anybody else running these same programs & now having bad battery life?
Bump!
2.3.3 is definitely draining my battery much faster than 2.2
As others are reporting, Android OS has jumped up to the top on the battery usage page, around 30-40%, it used to be my display.
I have also noticed the GPS randomly turning on/off even though no apps are running that need it, so I disabled the GPS and this has improved the situation slightly but its still not great.
In terms of apps running, nothing that wasn't running perfectly fine prior to 2.3.3
Im running on stock everything:
BB: 5.08.00.04
BN: GRI40
After uninstalling mobile defense& protector my battery life was back to normal& the android os was back down to a couple percent.
I reinstalled mobile defense & this had no effect on battery life or android os battery use.
I will reinstall protector app tomorrow& see if the problem reappears.
I read on the protector comments somebody else had same issue with battery life & isolated it to" protector" app.
So if you have this installed uninstall it& see if it helps.

I wish the solution could be this simple for me. I don't have any program like that installed.
Also having a batter life issue. Looks like it will last 8-14 hours depending on use. 2.2.3 was giving me ~30 hours with moderate use. Battery monitor is showing Display as taking a huge chunk (~75% vs 50-60% in 2.2). I've been uninstalling/reinstalling apps one at a time to see if it's one of them. Stock/Rooted.
Alright so like many other people on this and other forums, I updated to ics 4.0.3 two days ago and been experiencing battery issues since. But my battery issue is a bit different from what I've read about. My note has no problem going into deep sleep, when i go sleep and wake up deep sleep is at 98-99% and my battery drains about 1%. But when I turn on my phone and start using it no matter what I do, the battery drains about 1% every 3-5 minutes.
Phone settings:
- I always have my brightness at 0 and have screen filter on to make it even less bright(even though battery drains about the same with or without this on) (batter settings still show that screen is taking up most of the battery)
- With wifi on or off battery drains just as fast.
- I havnt started my new data plan yet so im always on airplane mode( battery drains the same with this on or off)
- My note was never rooted
- I basicly have no widgets on anymore because i deleted most of them but doesnt help battery life.
- With power savings on or off battery still drains the same amount
- The only apps i have installed after ics are ones from googe play(netflix, chrome, and other simple apps)/ i deleted my emulators and other apps that iv'e downloaded and installed
Can anyone please help me with this issue
bump
You are on Stock ICS ? Go to Settings>Battery And Post the Screenshot Here. It will help us to determine the exact situation..
Sorry I'm new im guessing stock ics means official release from kies, then yes. I dont know how useful these battery ss will be because a lot of the time im either idle or charging.

Did you perform a hard reset on your device after the update?
if not, then see if you can try it and get back again with your screenshots.. don't forget to do some re-calibration also on your battery. This works on my end before. Not sure if it works on yours, but hey.. there's no harm in trying right? just give it a shot bud...
Cheers!

Turn off the sync. Kill Background applications and See if it works for you...
Also download Battery Calibration from play store... Open it when its fully charged and start calibration... Let your phone battery fully drained and then charge it again to full without pauses...

Wtf are you trying to brick op's phone? You should get a warning..
Op never ever ever ever ever ever do a factory reset from ANY ics stock kernel.. It will get your phone bricked.. Or maybe but just maybe not? Anyways will you take the chance?
I was on 4.0.3 stock and yeah the battery it's horrible.. Don't know why the phone barely goes deep sleep.. Check this with cpu spy free app from market
Since the phone upgraded itself to 4.0.4 I have been able to run 14 hours with 5 hours screen and the phone its always on deep sleep
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
yea i knew theres a huge risk involved =/ , is there anyway i can update to 4.0.4 because it's not showing up on kies
Yeah following the several guides around.. They all lead you to download 4.0.4 and a gingerbread rom from Sammobile, downgrading your phone to gingerbread by flashing it via odin and then flashing ics 4.0.4 via odin also .. So go ahead and read some..
Cheers

Check Android Development Section...
cpuspy and betterbatterystats to check partial wakelocks and whats keeping phone awake. A gazilion threads on that. read them. You need these as Samsungs analytical view state nothing usefull, they need to fire the designer of that.
Next to this I see lot of screen on time, how much time roughly is that in total, you are actually using device?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
my phone doesn't have the deep sleep problem people have. my on screen time is about 6 hours before it drains completely and by on screen time it could be on the home screen with no wifi/net and no apps running with just the screen on, and the battery would still go down 1% every 3-5 min
So ics 4.0.4 came out for the UK version of note so i updated via kies. This didnt fix battery life at all, in addition iit came with another bug where my phone gets hot and drains battery when turn off the screen after playing any media file....So my question now is can i root 4.0.4 if i have the Emmc bug?
Hello !
I just bought my P880 two days ago and everything is great except one thing: battery drain. It is not occouring in background when phone is in Deep sleep, it doesn't lose charge while it's sleeping, but when I just unlock it/start using it, it just starts draining.
I have rooted it, and unrooted using SuperSU. The thing is I haven't experienced that kind of drain yesterday, it was working fine except drain caused by bad signal (badly inserted SIM).
Usage by Android System is at 50% over 5 hours, Screen is at 9%. Awake graphs are the same as Screen on graphs- no wakelocks.
I have these apps installed:
Prey Anti Theft
Skype (not running)
Adobe Reader
SoundHound
Disco Light
QR Droid
Sygic (not running)
X-plore
SwiftKey 3 keyboard
WiFi, GPS, Data, everything turned off except mobile signal
Running Internation version with Android 4.0.3, Kernel 2.6.39.4-00001-g0f9182c
Mobile network type is EDGE:2 with mobile signal -70dBm
I'm first time android user and this is my first problem so I tried to include as much info as possible.
Thanks in advance
I see 2 mayor issues, first is the android deft app, it may be running and trying to sync but bcz the data is off it will try to connect foreva.
Also, edge is (in other words) ROAMING and this forces the antenna to use more power to get signal from another provider, it get worst if you have a phone with sim card.

Thanks for pointing that out, but I have disabled every sync and I have set phone to 2G mode only, the reason is that UMTS signal was low and was draining battery even more.
I am only losing sharge when just doing random things on phone, even if that means only adding/removing widgets/apps on main screen with WiFi off.
Then you must try the Deodexed version of v10f, removing the bloatware with the script in the same thread.
The issue may be some lg apps that are running in the background so doing this will have 6 hours in standby time with 100% still, like me (if I turn all radios off ).
I have just woken up, while sleeping (9h) phone was awake for about 50%, no wakelocks but there were 30 alarms from Android/Google maps ans 29 alarms from com.google.android.gsf
Hope this helps.
I may try custom ROMs if nothing else works.
While typing this message I have lost 7%.
Similar state here as the OP. Got the phone two days ago.
All is good, it rooted OK, Directory Bind works fine, phone runs like hell (about 10 times faster than my old Galaxy S) BUT it drains battery like a genuine power guzzler.
Ok I get that according to the performance you get, it comes with an accordingly high power draw, so I don't ***** about it, I just want to know if this is normal. I mean I played 2 hours and 15 minutes of Sprinkle and the battery died, starting from a full charge. Screen was set at 50%.
GPS is off, Bluetooth is off, no 3G mobile network and screen is at 50% brightness as I said. There's an NFC icon on the notification bar next to the battery icon, which I am not sure if it should be there.
Here are a couple of shots from the battery section of the phone and from Battery monitor widget if these help.

Please note that as the OP said, the phone consumes nearly nothing when idling. Firmware is 10f.
PS I am not trying to hijack the OP's thread. I just noticed the same behavior and I'd like some help on the same matter, as well as to contribute in whatever way I can. If the OP is offended somehow, I will gladly start a new thread.
@psolord No, not offended at all. I'm glad you posted actually.
My phone has encountered 20 more Alarms, wake ups since I left it standing:
com.google.android.apps.maps Wakeups: 50
com.google.android.gsf Wakeups: 45
You can see pictures below, the drop on the second picture happened when I was writing me previous post from P880.
- I am also rooted again (after factory restore)
- I have reenabled 3G networks but the signal is only at about 50%.
Any additional info please ?
Ok buddy, so we can keep discussing it here together.
For the matter at hand, I see the same behavior, when I unlock the screen, it's like I have opened a whole in the battery.
It dropped from 85% to 65% just from downloading a new map (500MB, 20min download on a slow wifi) from Sygic downloader. I mean this can't be right, right?
I also checked cpu spy and it reports the system 75% at deep idle, 15% at 51Mhz and the rest are 0% to 1% up to 1500Mhz. So if the cpu has so little operation, what on earth is draining the battery?
I wonder if we could be looking at a bad battery batch.
Is there an app that reports exactly what activity consumes power and how much?
Indeed, the hole in the battery.
I even restored to factory from recovery mode since I screwed up the root, so it was just stock, but guess what, nothing has changed :crying:
I really hope this can get fixed, else I'll get a replacement.
I hope someone from this forum with more experience can help :/
I think I am onto something.
Can you please check how is the phone doing if you disable everything under location and services?

I am going to try this, I am also talking to LG Support right now. WIll let you know when I get more information.
I disabled everything, and I didn't see pretty much any improvement. LG Support suggested me to return the phone.
Pretty much draining the battery atm so I can charge it back to 100% and use something like Battery Calibration. Maybe it can change something.
Yeah indeed I was onto nothing. Nothing changed for me either.
Playing 30mins of a 720P resulted my battery dropping from 62% to 50%. I also used the gps for the first time with Sygic (Jesus even the GPS is lightning fast) and the battery went from 50% to 30% for a 20 minute ride. It seems that my phone cannot give me more than 2 hours of use. That's just silly.
BTW do you or anybody, know of an app that can show battery usage per app?

Stock application ?
Also you can use Better Battery Stats to see if there are any wakelocks or anything is waking up the phone etc.
What is happening right now is rather strange, I disabled screen turning off (trying to drain battery to 1%/2%) looking at stock battery app, it seems to be stuck at 21% and it's not changing.
The stock application does not do so much analysis, but the batterystats you used above seems more like it.
I am getting panicked and I miss some stuff haha. Ok lets cool.
It makes me sad that we don't get any input from the community. Something like "yeah this is normal, live with it" or "your phone is faulty, take it back to the shop for a replacement" or something.
Agreed, ANY, ANY kind of input would be appreciated, but I guess we are getting none.
I am going to fully charge it today, do some stuff and report back tommorow. Also anyone, please do post any suggestion you may have.

What is happening right now is rather strange, I disabled screen turning off (trying to drain battery to 1%/2%) looking at stock battery app, it seems to be stuck at 21% and it's not changing.

Maybe this has to do something with the built in power saver. Maybe it kicks in when the battery drops to the 20s and stops whatever is draining it.
I am thinking trying some battery saver to see if it does the same thing but from the beginning of the full charge.

Actually I have disabled it when it asked me if it should turn on. So I guess nothing to do with that.
I am going to backup now, fully unroot and somehow get it to pure stock. Than I'm probably going to exchange the phone in case battery life doesn't change.
Hey all!
I've bought my Optimus 4X HD recently. I'm loving everything! Except the battery...
Today, I've tested it again and here's what the battery is able to do!
- 6 hours of standby, 3G and Sync enabled
- 4 times checked mail for like 4 minutes total
6 Hours later: 30% remaining.
Is it normal for this battery to be so weak? I've "calibrated" (drained to 0% and charged to 100% - left it for a long charge the first time too)
If it's abnormal I'll contact the helpdesk and see if they can replace my battery, just want to be sure if it's normal or not.
Software is latest available, non-root, very few apps -- verified with taskkiller of AVG: nothing is running in background or anything.
Thanks!
I think there are some wake locks denying the system to go into deep sleep.
Search the forum for solutions, it's a well discussed topic on here

I usually get at least fourteen / sixteen hours on a single charge when I unplug it in the morning before work, varies with how long the Wi-Fi turned on, and I get at least three hours of screen time, one or two of voice calls. I also have mobile 3g data always on with alerts for email, Facebook and Google+. Usually I listen to music for about an hour and half too. I'm running the 20a euro rom official, rooted. Try factory resetting and rooting to remove bloatware and LG logging software.
Hope this helps!

Very few apps installed by you... there is a lot of stuff running in background that you don't even imagine.
Search for the threads about "battery drain" and you'll get some more info.
Do you run the new 4.1 Jelly Bean? There is some huge debate going on, how the update affects battery life. Personally, I ran into huge battery problems after updating to 4.1. The drain was especially heavy during the night, when I usually active airplane mode. With ICS I lost about 1% during an 8 hour night, under JB it was 20-30%. I read up on the threads in this forum and followed many suggestions. I started to monitor battery drain with different apps running/frozen, wifi, 3G, airplane mode enabled/disabled and so on. To analyse the battery I found the apps "CPU Spy", "Wakelock Detector", "GSam Battery Monitor", and "Battery Log" helpful.
But to be honest, I am no "android pro". I monitored my battery drain for over a week and did not find a satisfying solution for the problem. Thanks to this forum and many excellent posts I managed to roll back my phone to 4.0.3 ICS. Now my battery drain is the way I remember it and I am happy again
For me, this solved the problem. Although I do not run JB, and some of the enjoyable improvements it had, anymore. I know that for some people rolling back is no option. If you cannot locate the battery killer easily and you are willing to play around with your device (rooting, freezing apps...), you might as well roll back and give that a try.
You should explore your device and your stock apps...
My battery last in JB for so long as in ICS.
If there are differences they're small.

Yes!
Thanks all, very useful replies!
I've tried simply factory resetting it and, for about 3 hours it stayed on 100%, 2 hours on 99% and etc, very awesome!
I then set up my mail and other things and it went bad again. I had this sync symbol in my notification bar -- no clue why it was there all the time.
I googled why it was there and it's because the sync fails so it keeps trying. I removed the picasa for the email account (because uni mail doesn't support picasa and other google services) and my battery is top notch again! For now at least .

Looks like you're on WiFi which has good standby time. 3G standby is not good at all. That's when baseband_xmm_power starts acting up for me.
Following is my Battery usage still left some 17% with normal usage.

I've had terrible battery life... But when I went to cyanogen mod... It's been great for me ever since... Well two days actually. Lol
Sent from my Koala via the XDA App.
For me the same result with HSDPA. From 8:00 to about 15:00 oclock 15-20% of battery Just IM+ on, sync, some web browse + maybe one hour some games like beach buggy blitz or subway runner.

mine is bad because of the baseband_xmm_power wakelock, had this on stock 20A but didn´t had on 10h... as far as i can search, there is no solution other than revert to old 10h....
I bought a spare battery so i never run out of juice! Reverting firmware is not an option for me.

baseband_xmm_power wakelock, same problem here, battery drain cause this at v20A Jelly bean.
i believe this wakelock is affecting every phone since 20A, just install betterbatterystats and see it plague and suck our battery juice
Hi. From a while, my note 8 battery life is doing terrible. I tought i had to change the battery (is an year old phone with high usage). But then, after a full day i went to charger with - hear me out - 64% (After a normal day of usage!!) I was very happy then sh!t happend. From some time, the battery draining increased a lot. Like after 12 h with only 2 hrs of screen time i need to charge my phone. Then i found that voice wakeup ( from bixby who is entierly disabled ) used whole 17% of my battery. This **** scared me and i want bixby out of my phone. How an app that is disabled to drain whole 17%? When i saw that my phone was 57% so without that draining i would had 74%!! THAT MAKES ME ANGRY. Is something i can do do get rid of that trash?

I am literally having the same issues. For the past 2 days I get up and after 3 hrs my phone is at 55 percent. I thought it was because I just got a gear s3 frontier, but I dont think it is that. I did get a recent s.w. upgrade a few days after I connected the gear and that's when it appeared a lot worse. What s.w do you have installed?

Same as you. I can't upload photos cause im new. But i have same sw installed. It's pissing me off really hard. I paid $5 for an app disabler and it's doing the work, apps that drained my battery are now indeed disabled, but the battery draining still goes on. It freaks me out. This does not look like a bug for me, looks like they are intentionally trying to spy me or smth, because draining battery apps are using mics and location. Also HY BIXBY. It literally never helped me, only annoyed me. What bug makes an disabled app, uninstalled, denied app, exiled app how bixby is on my phone can still drain my battery? It looks for me like a punishment for not allowing them to collect my info and this is not cool or ethic. Im not even sure if is legal.
Ya. I keep finding my location services turning on without my consent. It that happening to as well. I might just root my phone at this point to have more control over my phone.
Mine is also draining. Its the fault of september update
Before my android usage was max 2% per cycle and now it reaches upto 18% per cycle. I have noticed some lags and perfomance issues also. I feel like its the problem with September update
Also battery drains at night withot using.
May be the october update fixes the problem. Just hope so
Well I hope you all realize that the number you see displayed for the voice wake up is actually the battery drain for the entire Android system. If you click on the battery it will say Android system. So it is not voice wake up (although can include) but all of your system apps together.

I factory reseted and uninstalled all bixby related things from my phone trough ADB and now my batterylife is great again. Before that, something really strange happend. I disabled swipe left for bixby home ever since i got my note 8. And it keept enabling by itself. First time i tought i enabled it by mistake, but happend to many times to be a mistake.
Here is a tutorial for manually uninstalling all bixby related processes via ADB.

I've been getting stupid amounts of drain as well for months now. I've done full wipes, flashed other ROMs and Kernels, but still no luck.
SystemPanel shows the majority of drain as unaccounted for, so I'm having a touch time trying to work out what is actually causing it.

Absolutely brilliant, this made my day... I learnt toady that Bixby was consuming around 20% of my battery each day, even though I had, pretty much, all related functionality disabled.
After reading so many people saying that Bixby doesn't have a negative impact on the battery life I started wondering if perhaps having it fully enabled would solve the issue. That doesn't worry me anymore as I've just unistalled that piece of junk :victory::victory:
Thanks for sharing!
I uninstalled too all Bixby enviroment through ADB, plus a lot of other no longer required system apps but didn't notice relevant changes about the battery life.
Then, I did an hard reset of the phone... this of course restored all Bixby environment and... surprire, surprise, battery life is almost the same.
Honestly, I no longer think that Bixby environment is the main culprit of the so-so battery life of the SM-N950, but I'm also happy to read that someone got advantages by uninstalling it.
In my humble opinion it's always the same old story: Modems are the culprits, being very ofter unfit to the networks, hence asking for an excessive power consumption.
