Hi,
I've updated my Oneplus 3 to latest everything: OxygenOS 4.1.0 with Android 7.1.1, and Magisk to 11.6.
I'm using the Viper4Android FX Module from topjohnwu, in the official Magisk repo.
Since then, V4A seems to be ignoring the audio feed, it never processes it.
Code:
Driver Version: 2.5.0.4
NEON Enabled: Yes
Enabled: Yes
Status: Normal
Audio Format: Supported
Processing: No
Sampling Rate: 48000
Whatever the source, or the output, despite triggering the master switch on and off, or even uninstalling the driver, rebooting, installing, rebooting again, it never works.
Any idea on how to solve this?
Cheers
Have the same probleme.

Switching "master power" to off, turns v4a, well... off. So no, not a solution I'm afraid :cyclops:

changed nothing
But Viper4Android needs SELinux in permissive mode, right?
And on OxygenOS 4.1 it is on Enforcing mode and I'm not able to change it

Wait what ?, how do I install this fix for the not processing problem anyway ?, I tried flashing

How else am I supposed to do this ??
Thank You
Update : NeverMind, I got it. I've installed the fixes VIA Magisks Under selecting Modules and
flashing the Fix Zip's. One last thing, is there a way for me to delete a posted message in the XDA

Thanks Again.

Can anyone having both confirm the difference in quality and battery drain?

Have u tried V4A in the past? If not please try.
U will notice difference when u use V4A with Expert Ui mode setting. Battery drain, i dont worry.
I've tried it on Candy5 ROM as well as daleski's nightlies, but it doesn't seem to work. I look at the driver status and it says it isn't active. Also, every time I open the app, it asks me to install/update the drivers when I clearly did already.

Set it to Permissive instead of Enforcing using this Application. and let me know if it work's or not

What is the best setting for the oneplus one? At times I feel the speaker/headset and bluetooth volume is too low. Thanks for the help.
There is a nexus 6 thread about a zip you can flash. Might be easier if it works.
Damn, changing to permissive and still won't install drivers. Anything else that needs to be done (I disabled nuplayer already). Thanks.
You need to make sure all other FX audio mods are disabled. Next use Power Amp enable FX in music settings and make sure you disable tone and equalizer. Remember you also need busy box installed. As far as in Viper you are flashing and do not have any other version installed. Lastly some ROMS already have SE Linux set to permissive, and in Viper options try compatible mode.

I'm guessing its bcoz of previous flashed mods. If nothing works, try to switch to compatible mode in V4A setting.
perfect with oneplus one liquidsmooth rom ( cm12)

Just follow 5 simple steps.( no zips required to flash).
1. Change Enforce mode to permissive mode using SeLinuxmodechanger from playstore .
2.Disable experimental "nu player" from development section search "nu" you will get disable it.
3. Disable Audiofx app.
4. Now install viper4Android and install driver ( i user superior audio ) .
5. Reboot.( and experience the amazing sound).

One thing though, selinux is a new requirement for viper in lollipop. It was never needed on KitKat so don't waste time there.

This magisk module works on aex 4.6. I tried lots of things but never got color leds to work. But now it's amazing. Thanks.
I dug around in the zip file. I'm using xiaomi.eu ROM and I see that the files added in system/lib and lib64 are already there. I didn't have time last night but I'm going to see what's different in the files and make the changes manually.
EDIT: I compared the files in the flashable zip to the files already present in /system/ and they're identical so something else is missing. I'm not a dev and have no idea what I'm doing but I'm assuming I'm missing the commands in the post-fs-data.sh script in the zip. Anyone want to help me out with where these lines need to be:
chown system:system /sys/class/leds/*/brightness
chown system:system /sys/class/LEDs/*/blink
Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree but I'm thinking I need to create a script with these lines in it but I have no idea where the script needs to be in /system/...

Global Positioning System Fix
Speed up Satellite fix for GPS on Android
Hello guys! I have heard lot of us face gps issues with Android and for this I have found a way to fix this issue easily just follow the steps carefully
This trick is not only to speedup the satelite fixing. Some also found that it increase the reception (strong signal even during cloudy, drizzling, and inside building's window). I am one among them!
Requirements:
1.Rooted Device
2.Magisk manager
3.Patience to read
Steps:
1.download the file given
2.flash the downloaded file in magisk manager!
3.reboot the device
4.Use the app gps status and toolbox and follow the steps
A.Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Reset
B.Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Download
C.use GPS status to start fixing satellites
5.reboot the device
6.use an app called gps locker from playstore to lock satellites and make a proper connection
Voilla!!!
GPS is fixed for your DROID!

Don't know what your testing entailed, but trust me that it won't work on an up-to-date Magisk installation. One dead giveaway is that it's trying to use the Magisk image, something that was deprecated with Magisk v19.0. And anyone that has been working with Magisk modules for a while can see that the structure and the update-binary is very outdated.
There are also other issues. You're using the REPLACE variable in config.sh wrong. That's for directories, not files.
