I don't think this should be classified as a bug. There are mainly 3 stages used in Magisk during boot. Post-fs, post-fs-data and later_service. The systemless-ly modification, namely the bind mounting work, is mainly done at the 2nd stage, which is when you see the boot logo. That's the cost of systemlessness, I guess.

I dont have any files and modules... only after install magisk i have long boot.

On S7 Edge 6.0.1 with no modules at all, it takes a very loooong time.
On S7 Edge 7.0 with 4 modules, it boots very quickly.
So I guess it should be classified as a bug

Note 4 Stuck in Boot Loop, very worried

Hi, hoping I haven't done something terrible here.
Rooted Sprint Note 4. Stock other than that, including bootloader
Installed Xposed Installer
then RootCloak module
Xposed Installer: Install->Update
Rebooted directly into a never-ending boot loop (Samsung logo, Sprint logo, reboot).
I was able to get it into recovery once, using a little sh script, but it's not working anymore.
When I was able to get it into recovery, I figured I'd try doing a factory reset, to no avail. Same loop.
I just tried repeatedly pressing a hardware button during boot to disable xposed, no result.
I have the disable .zip file, but no way to push it to the device or flash it, since I can't get into recovery - and even then, it seems I need a custom bootloader to do run it.
I did take an adb backup.
Now, I can only get to the stock Download screen (by holding hardware keys during boot).
Any help? Please?
I'm thinking of flashing this with Odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...-nie-stockish-knox-root-sprint-stock-t2919346
Hoping that is a reasonable thing to try?
Sigh of relief
OK, I fixed it.. I just redid the same process I did when I first rooted - using cf-auto-root.
And boom! Booted back to stock :victory:
Same issue

The first post in the Xposed thread says not to use it on touchwiz UI. Reflash your ROM in ODIN, and wait for Rovo to update Xposed for your system.
Maybe you should check the first posts before flashing something. Samsung roms aren't supported on lollipop
This is a really old post, and people might have already figured this out- HOWEVER, wanam has made a modded version of xposed 87.1 that is supposedly working on TouchWiz ui. Trying now

Can't flash Custom Recoveries. All got stuck in first splashscreen.

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get a Custom recovery working in my phone. It's a SM-N920C International (UAE) version. If I flash Arther's Philz Recovery or TWRP both of them get stuck in "Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Recovery is not SEandroid enforcing". Usually it should start right away but even waiting like 10 minutes it doesn't start. I can use the phone normally and even flash stock roms with ODIN. It just doesn't want to start any Custom Recover I throw into it. Any thoughts?

Oops, I've forgot that! I'm on Marshmallow
Btw I realized that I was installing LP recoveries in MM so I flashed the lastest TWRP build and now it works. The new problem is that I managed to root it but even if SuperSU works I can't manage to modify system files and busybox doesn't work either. I've flashed Dr.Ketan experimental MM root over Supersu 2.67 (Systemless root) because it didn't worked.. so maybe there's a conflict there. I'll report tomorrow.
Fixed with a beta of twrp

Xposed framework on galaxy s6 6.0.1 not working

Hey, i have done all the req for xposed on my galaxy s6.
rooted with CF auto root
TWRP installed
XtreStoLite-rom 3.1.1 installed
xposed installer installed
i tried to install xposed-v82-sdk23-arm64.zip via TWRP recovery and now the device is stuck in boot (at the "samsung" screen, not the regular boot loop "samsung galaxy s6" screen) i can fix the loop by just using the xposed uninstaller, but i would like to find a way to make xposed framework to work.
The official xposed by rovo89 doesn't work on Samsung Touchwiz ROMs.
You need wanam's unofficial one specifically for Touchwiz 5.1 or 6. It can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960

I would suggest you ask for help in wanam's Xposed thread as this is clearly related to his framework.
By the way, the first boot process after flashing Xposed might take up to 10 minutes.

Cant start my Samsung Galaxy S7 after I flashed with xposed PLS HELP ME

So I was going to install xposed on my Samsung Galaxy S7 and followed the instructions on devs-labDOTcom/download-install-xposed-installer-framework-android.html . I followed the instructions up to step 4 ( "Step 4. Select the zip & Install. Wait for the Installation to complete. Now, Wipe Dalvik & System cache. Reboot your device." ) and after I rebooted, my phone just shows "Samsung Galaxy S7". I cant get nowhere but it only shows this. Im really worried about my phone. Can anyone help me pls?
Which Xposed framework you used? You have to use Wanam Xposed or systemless Xposed by Topjohnwu. If you used official Xposed by Rovo you have to download the uninstaller and flash it in TWRP.
If you want Wanam Xposed you have to use arm64 because S7 is 64 bit so use the file xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm64-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709. I have an S7 and Wanam Xposed works great but now I use systemless Xposed v86.2 by Topjohnwu. If you want systemless Xposed v86.2 you have to install SuperSu 2.76 first and you also need the Xposed installer app from DVDandroid.
Systemless Xposed by Topjohnwu (download xposed-v86.2-sdk23-topjohnwu.zip)

Xposed Installer app from DVDandroid:

Or if you want Wanam Xposed:

SuperSu 2.76 (flash the stable version in TWRP before flashing Xposed)

You could try an app like Quick boot (reboot) to reboot to recovery or follow this guide.
How to enter the Galaxy S7 recovery mode
Here are the few simple steps to boot into Galaxy S7 or S7 edge recovery / download mode:
Switch your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge completely.
Boot into Galaxy S7 recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power keys at the same time.
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S7 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.
If it doesn't works try to install twrp recovery again with odin.

Flash the uninstaller from the official Xposed thread by Rovo. Then choose Wanam Xposed or systemless Xposed maybe better choose systemless Xposed.

Where did you get your file from, why didn't you use v86 (the latest one)? And why didn't you read? In the first post of rovo89's read only thread about XPosed for Android 5 and up there is written in red letters that it will bootloop on Samsung devices...
There are guides in the Wanam Xposed thread and in the systemless Xposed thread by Topjohnwu. Also the guide you followed was for the official Xposed by Rovo so not for Samsung phones because it will bootloop but there was also a link for Samsung phones. Don't follow every guide you find on the internet it's better to look first in the Xposed developers threads on xda. Where you can read the OP and search in the Xposed threads.
A tip: If you have an S7 international (SM-G930F) you can also download and install Superman rom. It's a great rom and when you install it in TWRP aroma installer opens where you can choose (systemless) Xposed and SuperSu 2.76. You can also choose between stock kernel, modified stock kernel with SELinux set to permissive or SuperKernel. You can also choose for stock or modified systemui. It's really easy to do because there is a good guide in the OP and the dev gives great support also.

I indeed confirm this, it took me 1m17s instead of the usual 10s time.
My Config :

- SuperSU v2.79

- Magisk Xposed.
- Stock Kernel.
- No mods flashed over the Rom.

Magisk Modules :
1 - EmojiONE
2 - Xposed v87.1
I disabled EmojiONE, rebooted twice, same issue.
It may be Xposed then ?
Witchout xposed the some. Fresh system and after install only Magisk v11 problem here.
Let's hope someone may find a clue
