When i can expect the android O for mi5 custom ROM ?
Seriously ? Isn't it too early to ask ETA ?
Android O 1st developer preview has just released less than a week ago.
But as you wanna know, the answer is, after releasing it officially for Pixel, 6p or 5x you'll get a custom rom.
None gonna compile a Preview version for any device.
And the best answer is : W A I T. ?

currently the best developers ( flar2, arter, eng.stk, Taker and others) are working on op3 development.
OnePlus is developers friendly device. If you take dev scene for OnePlus one and current activity for op3 in xda rest assured that there will be not only Android N but there also be Android O and if we are lucky op3 will see Q (if there is Android O/Q)
Why i think we will see even Android Q because OnePlus one released with kitkat.but now its already running marshmallow & I'm sure it will get Android N too
Developers will start working on N when Google will release full sources for public.

Its not possible as of now since
1. Android O is itself not official and is under development so forget about stability.
2. There is no official Gapps for android O, so even if you go on with developer version you wont have those sufficient and important apps...

Do you really understand what you are asking for? There is not a single official announcement about lineage 15. Android O is developer OS of the upcoming Android.. Le 2 does not even have an official lineage 14 support because of some bugs.. Please delete this thread..

Why u want to ban me XDA what wrong I did.
We don't have official lineage 14.1 how could you expect lineage 15?Until camera bugs are fixed we are not getting official.Sadly only codeworkx is working on solving bugs in le 2 device tree if all le developer works together then we may be getting Official soon but its their choice if they want to keep developing ROMs with same bugs or work together to fix bugs.

I don't remember who initially made the Android 7 port to Moto X2, but I remember it was a good port...
Any thoughts to the Android O version?
As videos I've seen, seems to be really similar to the 7.0 version, so I guess it's the same drivers?
I hope we can get the O port, that first port from the 7.0 was my daily use and it was good.
I assume we will get Android O but it wouldn't be until Nov-Dec or early 2018. At that point this phone will be knocking on 3-4 years old and may be deemed obsolete. In the US we didn't even get marshmallow stock! So were already 2 versions up!
I think Moto X 2 could manage to live with a Stock Android O.
At this time, even "Android Go" would look so slim/lite for this device, which is stronger than the hardware Go is intented to work with.
The real problem would be that, almost for sure, Lenovo wont add any new "major update" (with its respective support) for Moto X 2. As our partner, shawndak, said before, some variants didn't even get Android M.
Would be an absolute surprise if we reach an stock Android O (or Go) for Moto X 2.
I know Lenovo would not put this update to the device, I'm asking for the guy who made the first 7.0 port to do this one to =D
I remember his port was very good... I've used several months before Cyanogen 14.1 was released because his ROM was more stable.

That depends on your concept of "stable". Even CM13.1 still got some bugs.

It isn't even officially out yet. It will only be official once they name it.
And it is still in developer preview for even Google devices and it still has bugs on them!
And you expect us to already get Android o on this device which first of all is an mtk device, and secondly our device is outdated. I don't think any Dev will even care about it at that time. Most devs already switched their devices.
We know how difficult it was to get Android n on a7k. And the source still isn't fully stable.
Anyways, there's not much on Android o now so forget about it. We can talk about it when it is released in the stable branch.

Well they have provided only 1 update for any Redmi device I know of. But they give MiUi updates.
