Hello,
I just bought a mi5 today and I can't log into snapchat. Whenever I type my username and password it says that the login temporarily failed. I have my Google account set up and synced. I also don't have root.
Have you guys had any problems like that? Or any idea I can try?
Thanks!
Yes, I have fix this issue by change the permission from google application.
Cannot post screen (New user restriction...)
Could you be more specific? I think I granted all the permissions to Google Apps...
LE: I downloaded more apps from Google and made sure that every one of them has all permissions. Thank you!

Also make sure that the Mi App Store doesn't have access to any form of data connection or it will try to update your apps... ?

Did you make sure the Mi App Store doesn't have access to data of any type? Cause if it does it will "update" your apps.

If it doesn't work, consider flashing the global rom.
You don't have xposed installed do you? Also why bother posting a thread without a logcat. Without the proper testing done your issue would be due to it just being a piece of junk.
can anyone help solving the snapchat issue.. it says tempory failed but thats coming ever since i got the phone.

I said I had no root. Also, if you read the answers, I solved my issue so I think it was worth bothering.

You have to find a way to remove root.

Snapchat is now looking for both root and xposed and refuses to work if either is installed.
Working with root, had to uninstall xposed framework and it worked. Will try to install framework again and see if its still works. Will try to install rootcloak.
Edit: Snapchat working now after first logging in then install xposed framework latest update and then reboot, still works as promised.
Q. Can't download anything? Stuck??
A. Uninstall Truecaller
"AYY LMAO"

I tried everything but in the end the culprit was Truecaller.
Thanks

worked here.???
What is GG WP? What that means?
"good game well played"
Its a internet slang
Uninstalling trucallrr seems to work. But I think it should work with any uninstall. Can someone try and report? I mean just uninstall any application and try google play store download.
For the record, reinstalling trucallrr doesn't bring back the problem! Go figure
If u can't download on play store ....try enabling battery saver for a min and then disable it...it should work
Wait, are you telling me that on oxygen os 4 truecaller is installed? Another reason to stay with the beta 10 I guess...

Haha
No, no one said that
All it was said was, if you have it installed and are having downloading error from play store .. try uninstalling trucallrr.
Nothing fixes the issue, my sim is on roaming, this may be the reason

Alright then, but why someone would install truecaller in the first place? Jk gg wp to all that resolved that issue!
Just fix your permissions on your sdcard, look into my post history, i wrote this several times over the board. The reason why play store cannot download is because the permissions on the sdcard are not set properly. This can happen, when you copy your precious files from your pc on the phone via twrp, as then root will be the group and owner in contrast to the media group.

I'm sorry if this is not the right section I'm new to XDA.
I have a rooted note 8 from verizon. I'm trying to install OGYT but microg is being a big problem. I can install ogyt fine but microg always says "package name conflicts with other package" or something like that. I looked through all my packages and none are the same name. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it

I installed both modules from magisk but still get the video ads in YouTube... What am l doing wrong?
You have to uninstall stock YouTube updates, disable auto update in Play Store, flash the module, then open the regular YouTube, it'll show up as Vanced.
And don't use the dark theme.
Thanks, I don't know how to install stock updates... I Uninstalled from the play store and reinstalled with the auto update box unchecked... But how will I know for sure that Vanced is enabled? Will it say that anywhere in the app?
I've used older versions of youtube vanced in the past without issue, but lately I haven't been able to get the magisk and rooted versions working. Now instead - I disable stock youtube (or uninstall using Titanium Backup), uncheck stock Youtube's auto-update, reboot phone, install microg and then install the non-rooted vanced's apk. Then I'll see an app called "Youtube Vanced."

Go to play store, find YouTube, hit the uninstall button. It won't completely uninstall it, then reboot, and vanced should be working :good:

Ah gotchya. Personally, I've never tried that method you mentioned. I don't like any of my apps to auto-update because sometimes it messes with my themed apps until the developer updates the theme. Thanks for the tip though :good:

stopped working for me. So i unchecked the module rebooted. cleared cache both types. Then disabled. Then reached magisk module, then rebooted then went to play store and clicked uninstall then open. Working perfect now.
Hello everyone,
I cant find a way to get the mcdonals app to work with root, i've tried everything since the denial list, hideprops module and a xposed module so i was wondering if someone have a way to bypass the root verification.
Thanks in advance

Sorry, cant help you because im using a redmi note 7 wich is a totally diferent phone.
The only thing i know is that it was something related to the rom not being able to hide that it was a costum rom and it was impossible to fix because it had to do with the development of the rom

it seems I was just stupid and didn't realise the error wasn't because of the root, it's working just fine
though I can't get a banking app to work (NeoBT) while others do work (such as Revolut). any ideas on that?
