I succeded in dualbooting
By manually editing boot.img
If any can help to automate the proces please
Coz every rom has to be edited manually

Well, this is the original SPL image on Tattoo, nothing related to update.zip.

I was trying to reverse it, and just found why it refuses to erase, but I could not find why it refuses to download data from the host.

By now, to flash SPL or the first splash, you need a custom kernel with additional partition information and then use flash_image is OK.

@tewilove, ur zip file is not signed.... when i tried updating it in recovery mode, it says verification failed, no signature....
what to do buddy ?

I have a dead Tattoo.. stucked in tattoo logo at the boot... it's possible to use this spl for heal?

i am sorry. i couldnt succeed in signing it with testsign.jar file u uploaded....
could u please do it for me... just a favour. i think i am missing out some important step whicch i couldnt figure it out.... please test sign it & upload it here.....

This is some ways a basic question... but something most people don't bother to think about..
when I go to Recovery and Flash a zip file... what is actually taking place? is it only unzipping the contained files to their respective paths in the filesystem (just like a tarball), and/or are there any hooks such that a script of one flavor or another could automatically be run? (ie. to create some links, fix permissions, etc)
Every rom flash is based on an update script which is located at META-INF/com/google/android/. All the permissions are set through the update script. If you extract any rom and explore to the update script and see. You will find exactly how the rom flash works..

sorry buddy i dont think there is a flashable zip for that
but you can copy that file from a rom zip file { stock one}
and try to include it with root explorer

itried puttung the stk.apk igot from a stock rom setting perrmissions to rwrr and rebooting . but nohing happens

did you used correct permissions ??
if you did everything correct and still not getting it done i think it cant be done
contact the dev of the rom you are using to suggest a functional sim toolkit app from another rom

3. Flash the file
4. Reboot system now
5. Done!

nothing happens sir. i have flashed the file and it was successful but when i check the drawer ., nothing added. even in my phones data. no stk inside
btw. i am using Gingerbread stock rom by skyfly. it is a rom that is completely stock but he removed some apps and stk ofcourse. i tried putting a stock stx and odex file using root explorer . set permissions to RWRR but seems nothing works. thanx anywy sir.m but can u please contact mister skyfly for his stock stk ^_^.im not always online to cantact him .

For me it worked bro, Yesterday i kept few odex files in system/app.... arm folder nd ran the delete.sh using terminal and the odex files got deleted so script was working.

Check for odex files in system/app or priv-app or framework. If they are not there then ur system is deodexed.

Sqhs files are present in root of ur system but since u have flashed the deodexed patch sqsh and other odex files r deleted thats why ur not able to locate

First move delete.sh to sdcard Download terminal emulator from playstore then open it nd write following commands

U may get some error ignore them and then check for odex files

Okay, so i figured what i had to do, but using mine & your commands as well, I'm getting this same error

I wanted to mod original firmware.
I managed to extract rom using HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5 & then simg2img, but then i want to mod files inside img archive and repack it to state that allows to install it on phone.
Any good guides or ideas how i can do it?

You can't simply modify an update file, thinking it will flash perfectly. It's logic here
