I purchased the OP3T midnight black and I'm looking for a decent case. I watched an unboxing video on YouTube that showed someone opening the OP3T box and there was a clear case included. Just want to confirm with some of you OP3T owners out there if a case is included in the box with the phone?
Thanks!
No case is included unless they added it recently without mentioning it on the website.
Mine didn't. It did come with a glass screen protector, though. I bought a pack of plastic ones not knowing. Doubt I'll ever use them.
Here's the link to some dude unboxing the oneplus 3t midnight black. He pulls out the clear case from the top section inside the box after he removes the cover.

That's a seperate case that did not come out of the box the phone was in. That phone looks really really nice! If I didn't use a black case 99.9% of the time I might not have cancelled my order last night. Enjoy the phone it's very nice especially for half the price of the next samsung.
I bought mine Midnight Black yesterday and I got the clearblack tpu-case. Not a quality-item but does the job before the original case arrives. But mine didn't have a tempered glass, just a screen protector (which is nice anyway, before the tempered glass arrives). Location in Finland, bought from local carrier, not directly from OnePlus.

It did come out of the box, you can see him taking it out of the box that the phone was sitting on top of. He even confirms this in the comments.

Don't know if there is any regional or patch differences, because I didn't have the glass screen protector that someone mentioned earlier. So it may or may not be there. Ordered a Nillkin nature case and the original full cover tempered glass, so the camewiththebox-case is fine till then.
Thats great guys just enjoy that amazing phone I'm glad they added that little extra feature to keep it protected.

In Finland we have a local carrier Elisa which co-operates with Oneplus so we can get it directly from the store in various cities every day (good for us). Don't know exactly where they get their supplies, maybe UK idk.
That was also a Colette edition.
I have bought the Midnight Black from OnePlus; I'll report back exactly what I got when it arrives in a couple days.

You sure it's tempered glass? Was it pre-installed?
I got my 3T mid-February, direct from OnePlus, US version. I came with a plastic screen protector already installed. I know for certain it's a plastic protector, as it's had some issues peeling away and bubbling at the bottom (near the home button).
UPDATE: Just received the phone today -- wow, shipped in two days from Los Angeles, California to Toronto, Canada. Yes, there was a smoky clear TPU case included in the box with the OP3T midnight black. It's a very tight fitting case, fairly cheap, but at least it was there. Nice little bonus. Thanks for those of you who answered in this thread.

Actually, I chose standard shipping (there wasn't a choice from Canada) -- but when they sent me the purchase / shipping confirmation, they had upgraded me to priority shipping. I didn't even pay custom / duty fees. Thanks OP3T
Midnight black here, case included. Included installed screen protector not that neat looking though, will need to replace that myself.

Well my poor phone suffered a fall to the concrete that it was unable to withstand. My screen is cracked and therefore renders the phone useless. I have an extended warranty with accidental damage thankfully tho. Not sure if they are going to just fix mine and send it back to me or give me the money to buy a new one. With that said I just went to Google's site and it says that the AT&T version is temporarily not available. Is this part of Google's new transition or is it just out of stock? I'm hoping it's the later of the two.

Balls. I am hoping so too. In any event, I am sure HTC can fix you up.
Quick question, which phone case were you using when this fall to the concrete happened?
Possibly either that or out of stock? Or out of stock because of that?

i just checked and you can order an AT&T version on google.com/phone now.
so I dropped my phone about 2 hours ago. Still can't believe it, the AMOLED screen has cracks that run through it, so the display doesn't show anything.
However, everything else is in tact including the digitizer. I guess the AMOLED repair shouldn't run me more than $150 phew.
I'm thinking of buying this case for its reasonable price (11.99$ + screen protector) and looks but first,
has anyone here tried it? any thoughts? I just wanna know how much bulk will it add to the phone and how good it is with preventing dust going inside.
btw here's the eBay link to the case:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Momax-iCase-Pro...Accessories&hash=item1e625a3fde#ht_6048wt_905
I would say it looks like a very interesting case. I really like the White edged case might be ordering this just to see if its any good being it is only 12 dollars. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
EDIT:: I just ordered the white edge + smoke backed case! Give reviews soon as it arrives, but coming from china it could be atleast a week or two.
I already bought that and the full black one from the same seller yesterday. Can't wait..
I hope it fits perfectly. For now I just use the white capdase case (a bit tight for the i9023)..
the capdase one seems pretty cool as I like cases that doesn't add any bulk.. Can you tell me how is it? easy to press buttons? ext..
as for the Momax case, It seems bulky.. I'll wait for some feedback for now
I purchased one from Momax's website last Thursday and got in from Hong Kong (to Australia) in 4 business days.
The case is a good fit for the I9023, feels really nice and the buttons work properly.
Best thing is their is heaps of space for the charger/usb cable and headphone!

I bought the white capdase (to mach my white battery door). Nice case, but a bit tight, especially in the on/off button, I have to loosen a bit to the right, so I can press the button for on/off, if not the button will be a bit presses, and if I push it, it ask for the shutdown menu. I just got the momax Ipro case today from the ebay seller for my i9023.
I bought 2 momax case(smokey back and all black).
I love it, it is the best than the other 2 case I already had (capdase & generic plastic case).
For me, I think its slim enough, and easy to slide in your pants, because the back cover is hard plastik and the side is soft plastic/rubber.
O yeah... all is included with anti glare screen protector.
so.. how much buld does it add..?
do you think it add more than the capdase?
by the way which one provide more protection?
momax capdase or SGP ultra silke???

They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Update-Yep
Dear buyer:
Sorry for another intrusion but we just came across this report and
thought we have to share it with you:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/White-Nexus-7-Case-Stain-Clean-Black-Nexus-7,16302.html
With the same porous plastic material, we are concerned that the black
back on the retail version could also be susceptible to dye to some
extend. It may be embarrassing but we have to admit that we did not
have this issue in mind when our fist batch of Nexus cases was made.
Although the case has NOT left any mark on neither of the white or
black Nexus 7 we have after a short period of normal use, we would
rather be overcautious and have more intensive tests done before we
can comfortably let you use the case, even as a temporary solution. We
definitely could not afford to have you as beta-testers on this issue
with your brand new tablets and would suggest you hold off using the
case until you get further confirmation from us or a replacement case,
hopefully within 5-7 days. You can be assured all our future shipments
will be fully compatible with Auto wake/sleep feature and free of any
staining problems guaranteed. You will get to choose any style you
prefer from our whole selection of Nexus cases as the free
replacement.
I understand most of you will get your Nexus 7 today and I am really
sorry to disappoint you with this message but please do excise caution
if you have to use something else on your Nexus. Again, I apologize
for the inconvenience and would appreciate your understanding and
patience in this process of getting the right protection for your
Neuxs. This is what we do and we will do it right for you.
Please also let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. Thanks, Jim

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

If you read the thread on the dome glass you will see alot of unhappy campers and a track record of poor customer service from them. Some say after 3 weeks after a perfect install, it pulls up on the right side. Not interested until there is a new revision on the glass or the process.
Amazon.ca is showing the same product image of 50% off but the price is not being reflected on the page.
Canadians getting the shaft again.
I sure hope this gets fixed as I'd love to grab one at this price!
I wouldn't pay full price for the Whitestone, I got it when they liquidated some stock for pennies. I don't know if the issue is the TGSP or their Loca formula but it seems very pressure sensitive (whether it's pressure from being on a pocket, or holding onto it tightly). My 2nd protector, which has only been on about 2-3 weeks now, has minor lines on the center-sides where it curves. Very minor, but if they do what the last one did in the upper right corner, they will spider out further.

i picked one up for the $30 deal i have a friend that says its awesome so i will give it a shot!
i got one for $40 CDN after Amazon.ca adjusted the price yesterday. It was $30 on Amazon US, so it comes to $40 CDN after the exchange rate.
I queried it with Whitestone as the 50% was showing on Amazon.co.uk too, and got this response...
Hi,
Sorry for confusing. It was a system error and 50% off is for US Amazon.
We will get soon for UK as well.
Best,
Whitestone team

I'm going on a couple of months with no issues at all. It's as perfect as day one on my S8+ and Note 8.

I'm sure the case will depend on the market. I would almost bet money the US models won't come with a case. I'm not even believing the screen protector part until someone in the US reports one is installed.

Well, I imagine most companies rightfully believe most American's to be suckers.
It's a case that most people won't even use. It is a hard shell clear plastic with not much protection. I could see if it was a gel case that gave some protection like the one that comes with oneplus and the likes. If it came with that hard shell case people would just complain about that like what they are putting on the screen.
Ask people who have bought phones that come with cases if they actually end up using them or if they ended up buying cases anyways. My bet is that most all of them will tell you either they didnt ever use it or that they just used it until the one they bought arrived.

Oh, no doubt you're correct. Ive dropped my S9 on concrete many times and I'd never trust a cheap plastic case. I already have my Otterbox ordered and on the way.
I received an email from my carrier when I ordered my phone that it will come with a screen protector applied to the phone, and a free set of ear buds - no word on a case.
Screen protector attached with phone from the box.

Nice and I see it's case friendly. The only bummer is I bought two packs already.

True, a few back ups never hurt.
I read that the reason a screen protector is installed is because some will interfere with the sensor. You may need a certain type or brand. Only a rumor...
Not a rumor. The temper glass ones is only supported by one brand. The cheap plastic ones will work. I've ordered both. The temper glass one was 70 bucks for a two pack.
Can anyone confirm if case will be included as well? I saw an unboxing of the s10e that came with a Yellow case -- just not sure if it was a US phone.
