Does anyone know how to enable System UI Tuner on Note 5 running Android 7.0? I tried holding the "Settings" icon in notification area for about 10 seconds and nothing happened.
Same question Anyone?
It is disabled on Samsung phones

This is a guide to enable System UI tuner on Marshmallow.
Since we cannot root our Android One currently, it is a good way to tweak our devices right now.
It includes
•Re-arrange the Quick Settings toggles.
•Show hide items from the status bar (such as casting icon, do not disturb icon, etc.)
•Show the embedded battery percentage in the Battery indicator.
•Toggle Demo Mode
To enable this, do the following:
•Pull down the notification drawer to display the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
•Long press this icon. It may not be noticeable, but it will begin to spin under your finger. It may take a couple of tries (did for me on two different devices).
•When it's activated, you will see a popup that says "Congrats! System UI Tuner has been added to Settings" (See screenshot).
•Go to your Settings and you will see an option for "System UI Tuner" under "About Phone".
That's it! Enjoy

Hey!
I accidentally see, that when you touch the gear in the notification bar for a while, it starts to spin. Was not that in older versions of Android the activation gesture for a system tuner or something?
Spoiler: the spinning gear starts no action. So it's a useless function??
My gear doesn't spin like yours but that was the gesture to activate the System Tuner in Marshmallow but all it did on stock Android was allow you to customize the System Tray in ways that are now part of the menu you access by hitting the icon to the left of the gear. Some phone manufacturers would add a few additional UI Tweaks but they were always pretty minor.
mine (on v152) spins as wheel - seems like it does nothing though...
Hi,
Is there a posabillity to activate system ui tuner on the MI 9?
yes it is. turn on usb debugging, and usb debugging (security setting) just a few rows down from there. perform the Adb commands and you're set.
I think he was talking about the system UI tuner that was included in most versions of Android before Oreo. To activate it you long pressed the gear icon in the status bar until the icon started spinning which added a system tuner setting to the settings UI.
That function was discontinued because the available functions were incorporated into the customization options for the icon bar and system tray but I think Oxygen kept it--probably because One Plus coding is so inept their programmers don't actually know how to get rid of it.
Hey.
I've got EMUI10 and...person responsible for quick settings / switches bar design really wonders me.
In 1 row mode (after open the notifications bar) it has 5 icons.
After swipe down for all options - 4 icons in a row.
UX for that solution is...horrible.
Any chance to change that?
This is not a EMUI thing, it's on most Android 10 phones.

That's better - maybe someone will have a solution for that situation
My S21 Ultra had Android 12 One UI 4.1 and when I would bring up my notification screen and swipe away all the notifications and after swiping the last one away the notification screen would automatically close by itself.
After updating my S21 Ultra to Android 13 and One UI 5.0 whenever I bring up my notification screen and swipe away all the notifications the notification screen now stays up and I have to press on the screen to close the notification screen.
Anyone know how to make it work like it did on One UI 4.1? I don't see any settings to make it work like it did on UI 4.1.
It's most likely a One UI 5.0 thing...
Same exact thing for my S21. Anyone find a fix for this??
