Do not disturb problem - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I'm currently using SliMM 3.8 ROM with locked bootloader on D5803 and I use the "Do not disturb" feature a lot, specially when I set an alarm I use the "Total silence" with the option "Until next alarm". The option "Until next alarm" isn't available all time as it should be as I found out long time ago but I didn't know the reason. These days I googled it a bit and found out that there is a bug in coding the calendar or something like that and it is causing that first 3 weeks of the month the option "Until next alarm" is available as normal but in the last week of the month it disappears and it happens every month. I tested it by manually changing the system date and it's confirmed, the last week (last 6 days) of every month the feature "Until next alarm" disappears and it's not available. Has anyone any information about how to fix this problem? Maybe other ROMs users could test it out that if other ROMs are affected too. Any help is welcome. Thanks for replies
Some info HERE and there are some links in the comments also.

That's funny... I noticed this as well but never took so much care in it.
But good to know that there is a "proper" reason behind this.
Thanks for your findings...
I'm also on SLiMM 3.8....

Did you try
Start>Settings>Personal>Phone>Time Zones>check the box
Hope that helps.
Or just get SynchroTime, It is a small utility to sync your clock like on a PC

System-volum bar goes up and down by itself

Hi,
I have a "little" problem which is very annoying...the volum bar goes up and down by itself, and this happens very often.

Typing a message (or doing anything else on the phone) takes a very long time because it keeps popping up all the time. I upgraded the ROM, but that didn't work either....it seems to use a lot of battery when this happens too Battery can be dead after a day or less...and that's when I haven't even used it at all.
I have no idea why this started to happen...I hadn't done any changes on the phone before that. It doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the volume buttons on the side either so it must be a software problem.
Any tips are greatly appreciated
I believe we have the same issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4081584#post4081584
This started happening yesterday for me.
yeah we have the same bug :/ atleast it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with this problem...hopefully someone will come up with a solution to fix this problem....It's driving me crazy
This happened to me after the phone got a little wet. It disappeared after a few days tho.
any chance its the auto change volume of the apointments calander
that mute the sound when u are in a meeting ?

[Q]pil-modem_fw: why won't it leave me alone?

I started noticing extreme battery drain around the time I began fooling around with the lollipop rom builds that began popping up in the forums last month, so I started trying to look into it. This is what I found: (this isn't a good example because of a short timeframe, but at times it's been up to 30k wakelocks over 6 hours)

I've tried searching Google and of the 2 posts that even come close, I can't make sense of it.
My phone is currently disconnected and has been for some time, so I can't tell if it's searching for service, even though I keep it in airplane mode, with Wi-Fi on only when I need it, turned off background data, even froze the phone app. Still no luck. Same thing when I switched back to cm11.
Is there anyone or there who knows what this is about and what I can do about it?
***ANY and ALL info is GREATLY appreciated***

If you flash the stock 4.4.4 firmware for your device with fastboot/mfastboot it will likely be fixed.
Why you're getting this.... I don't know. Can't find anything on it either.

Weird Quick Charge screen!!

Hi everybody!
I usually do not use/see my phone while charging, but today I've got a SMS notification and found a strange charging screen over the lock screen with advertising on it!!

I'm pretty sure that this was happening before the update to MM!!
googling around I have found posts about a specific app addded by Asus, could it be that Lenovo did the same?
I didn't found anything strange on my phone apps list
I have runned a full scan with Dr. WEB and it didn't found anything
I am almost sure ( Smiley Happy ) that I didn't install crappy apps, but I may have inadvertingly followed a couple of adv links..
Anyone else is having such screen on MotoG2 with MM? How can I serach for the app showing that screen?
This evening I'll check on my wife's MotoG2...
Thank you!
I have found the (f******g) app: ES App Locker!!
Anobody knows a similar tool? For sure I will not reinstall this one!! And I'm going to give it ONE star right now!!
Addendum: while posting the review on the store I've seen that v1.1.1 was released yesterday... I'm ready to bet that it's this current version that has added this undesiderable feature...

[GUIDE/Code] Work/home traffic monitor

Hi guys,
Recently I've created some (my first actually) tasks and profiles in Tasker and I thought it would be nice to share this with you. After all sharing is caring
The goal of this app is to notify me of the current delay on my route between home and work (in the morning from home to work and in the afternoon from work to home). One of the solutions to do this was to make the navigation start automatically but the downside of this is that I am then forced to always grab my phone, since I am lazy I like to keep it in my pocket and just make it play a sound and/or vibrate at a specific pattern.
First a few screendumps to give you an impression of what it looks like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The XML files which can be imported in Tasker as well as a short description can be found at GitHub (and since I can't link to outside of XDA before I reached 10 posts you have to concatenate the URL for now, will fix in the future) at github com/nick31415/Tasker_TrafficMonitor
Since this is my first post here as well, please feedback (both on my post and my project)!
Kind regards,
Nick
Anyone else having the issue of the pictures not being displayed? Even though I've uploaded them to XDA-developers.com it appears that they are referred to as img.xda-cdn.com which is not accessable.
