I have the same your problems after the root in nugart. Plus ever after the root (whatever way) my cellphone loses all the sound notifications, calls, messages, clock.
Hi everyone, since P7, G6 4G and G535 are basically the same device (except cameras, check here: https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6678&idPhone2=6168&idPhone3=6332) it should be possible to port latest P7 updates (aka Lollipop) to others.
I've already tried to use the official update.APP but - of course - the device refuses to install.

Hi guys, this is my first Redmi 8 device. I got it because of the battery life.... However, i have tried various VPN Apps from PlayStore and none of them are working .
I get a message in return : Your system does not support VPN function
I tried TurboVPN and i get the message : VPN cannot start on your system. Please check your manufacturer
On Psiphon App i get this message : VPN cannot start. Please enable your system to use VPN
Is this a common issue on Redmi 8 devices or is just my phone ?

I install Oreo update Lineage OS 8.1 of DarkJoker360 on my honor 4x / Gplay G735 with stock P8 lite B601 using Krst12 dev TWRP 3.2.3 for P8 Lite adapted from honor 4X, Orangefox did not work on my device, the rom recognizes it as che2-L03 and has some bugs for this P8 variant lite:
- Bluetooth does not work, and a warning appears every 2 seconds Bluetooth is stopped, deleting cache, data or forcing the application to close the warning is not deleted. (but it can be silenced in the new update)
- Ril worked on the first boot, If turn off the cell phone and turn on Ril did not work, the solution is reboot phone and back to work.
- The screen at the first start is yellow, it restarts and it is solved.
- The call application closes, but the calls work perfectly.
- Mobile data works perfectly.
- The wifi anchor (hotspot) does not work, it turns on but does not work.
-Wifi works perfect.
- The battery discharges quickly and the cell phone heats up very easily for my battery old damaged.
If were someone here who collaborate with DarkJoker360 so that the rom works in our Honor 4X, in version 7.1 Ril does not work but in 8.1 it work, DarkJoker360 is already working on android Pie 9 and announces that it will go for android 10 for P8 lite Kirin 620.
